GARY OLDMAN'S 'SLOW HORSES' GETS A SEASON 7 ORDER ("SIDEWALKS ENTERTAINMENT" GUEST NEWS)
Apple TV+ has renewed the British spy series "Slow Horses," starring Gary Oldman as Jackson Lamb, for a seventh season. In a vote of confidence, this renewal is announced before the debut of the fifth season. Season 7 will feature six episodes and will be based on the eighth book in Mick Herron's series, titled "Bad Actors."

Prime Video has cancelled "The Wheel Of Time" starring our recent guest Rosamund Pike, who played Moiraine Damodred. Given the significant financial investment, "The Wheel of Time" did maintain a strong viewership, but it has seen a decline over the course of three seasons.

The Alias actress will star in and executive produce, The Five-Star Weekend, where she will play Hollis Shaw, a famous food influencer who suffers a devastating loss — a death that “starts to expose the cracks in Hollis’ picture-perfect life: her strained marriage, her complicated relationship with her daughter and her growing pursuit of validation from her followers. Based on Elin Hilderbrand’s 2023 novel, The Five-Star Weekend will be on the streaming series, Peacock.

Two of our previous guests will be headlining two new CBS series.
First, the former Captain of Star Trek: Discovery, Sonequa Martin-Green, will be joining Donnie Wahlberg as his partner, Detective Lena Silver, in the "Blue Bloods" universe expansion series, "Boston Blue."
Then next year, Luke Grimes will reprise his role as Kayce Dutton in the "Yellowstone" spinoff "Y: Marshals." His character will be combining his ranch hand skills and Navy SEAL training as the new member of an elite unit of U.S. Marshals.
