meowing at people is so awesome i wish it was as fun to do online but alasif i just type 'meow' nobody gets to hear my real meow which has cpnfused humans, cats, and dogs. they all think im a cat. ive been on call and had cats desperately searching around the room for the other cat. ive summoned pablo to me purely by meowing. i have made dogs bark so loud and it was terrifying. because im a little kittycat

I'm watching the opening scene of Infinity War for the purposes of writing a fic, and despite trying to skip through it and not watch or listen to much of it at all, I am once again so disappointed at how Loki's character changed between the films and the series.

It's been a while since I've watched the films, and just the amount of peak Loki that Tom fits into this horrid 3 minute scene just kills me! :'( I'm instantly caught up in all the feels again, and the drama of his story. He's so good here! Brave, defeated, sassy, scheming, and still trying to pretend he doesn't love his brother enough that he would trade the universe for him. And I am just enraged that they threw him away for cheap shock value! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!

The Loki in the series is a different variant, and I've come to terms with that, and enjoy elements of the series, but this just reminds me how it's not the same awesome character I fell in love with from the films. :'( Damn he was good!
