hiii hello angle!! i wanted to say thank you for the lovely jewelry chain brushes! i noticed that you noted they only work in an upright canvas position, i’m not sure if this is something you intended but just wanted to say that you could switch that off if you wanted! to make them work in any canvas position, just toggle off “Orient to screen” under “Properties” in the brush studio. much love, i love your art!!

From the Digital Extremes AMA over on Reddit. Looks like I was correct in my understanding of how Drifter and Operator work!

They're sorta overlaying each other. One existence, two "void silhouettes," as Quinn puts it.

The idea of reality trying to make sense of them is interesting, though! Like in a game when two surfaces share the same position, you get what is known as "z-fighting" where the two objects flicker between themselves.

if you've never engaged with a creative art on a regular basis you need to understand that it requires concerted effort to get into "the groove" to make something and every second that it takes to get into that groove causes physical pain, but the only thing worse than doing it is not doing it.
