Only a few millennia old, not much younger than the moon (compared to the sun at least) they stand significantly shorter than the rest of their siblings, though they have enough energy to bounce off the walls for hours and hours without getting tired

I hate that so much of 3D / costume art has an "ugly" phase

Like I spent 2 hours working on a glove already, and currently it's hideous but I know it's going in the right direction

It will be gorgeous, but right now I just look pale, horribly bruised, and I have fingers covered in tape 😭

Hello again !!!

For Theia's claws I made 10 origami finger claws and stuck 1 in each finger hole of a mesh gloves with the tips cut off so they'd poke out the end. Then I added masking tape to hold them in place and hot glue for texture. After that I dry brushed the veins in black and added about 6-7 coats of gold (I also messed up and decided that silver would look cool, it DID NOT and that set me back by like 3 hours of work 😭) Then I varnished them and voila !!

I’ve been working on a costume but have been running into repeated problems on going about attaching ears to a wig- the ears are bent bunny ears and I need to be able to take them on/off for easy transportation, would you happen to have any advice? (also I LOVE your costume UGHHHHH SO BEAUTIFUL- good luck on Apollo’s wings! <3)

I'll do my best to help, but I don't really work with wigs too often (I'm scared of them)

I would however recommend getting a couple sets of strong magnets and securing those to the bottom of the ears and the inside of the wig. You could hold them to the inside of the wig by stitching a piece of fabric over each one and then reinforcing the stitches with a sturdy glue.

As for keeping the magnets on the bottoms of the ears, that's a little more complicated as it depends what they're made of and how thick the bottom is. Nonetheless, I'd suggest using E6000 or some sort of contact cement, and hiding them either with felt or paint or whatever material the ears are made of. Hope this helps !!!

Wing tutorial update:

I'm sorry, I can not afford to make a second pair of 9ft wings, sadly (nor do I have a place for them either lol) however!!! I'm going to start making a smaller pair for a different costume very soon since I already have all the materials.

If people still want, I can track all of my materials as I go and try to sorta make a tutorial-esq set of instructions??
