I rewatched The Rise and Fall of Sue Sylvester and the bts videos (all about the song Rise) as preparation for the next recap episode.

The Dalton Academy has burnt down and the Warblers find a new home at McKinley and with the New Directions. After differences about their different levels of dancing skills and school uniforms versus costumes they find a compromise and become a team.

Sue wants the Warblers removed from her school which angers Becky. She shows superintendent Harris the hurt locker who is shocked and fires Sue. This leads to an interview at Fox news where all of Sue's lies are exposed. In the aftermath Sue makes peace with her mother and becomes the new coach of Vocal Adrenaline.

Rachel is accepted into NYADA again and gets the role in the musical she auditioned for weeks ago. She wants to do the musical, but Sam – as the only one – is against it.
