Essentially, my parents are doing everything in their power to get a job that needs them to move to Texas when I turn 18 (in less than half a year at the time of this post). I am a non-passing trans and queer person, and do not feel safe leaving my current state. I don’t have any friends in the area that can take me in, and my parents have shown me no support. The move is not yet set in stone, but it’s clear they are doing everything in their power to get the position, and as they’ve explained to me, it’s not a question of if, but a question of when.

In my current situation, I am incapable of getting a job. My parents never taught me how to drive nor ride a bike, and where I live, nowhere within walking distance is hiring, much less hiring a minor. I cannot get money from my parents, and the rest of my family has cut contact with me due to my being queer. If I’m able to make enough money, I plan to move out of the country to live with my girlfriend, and if I can’t reach that goal, I’ll look for the cheapest apartment I can find in my area. All of the money I receive from these commissions will solely be used to help me find a home, and will not be spent on any frivolities or wants.

Any support would be greatly appreciated, even if that just means reblogging this post. If my prices are too expensive for you, I am willing to negotiate. Thank you for reading.

Discord has implemented the age verification requirement system per the upcoming law going into affect later this week early, so prepare yourself for other sites, which may include Tumblr given the intent is to target adult content which may affect here because of how it still does get posted here, even if the intended targets are the actual site for it.

As of writing, the official petition to have the Online Safety Act repealed is close to 30,000 signatures, but it's barely enough to garner much attention to where it may be dismissed by Parliament, or may get discussed but not getting to where it'll be repealed to actually figure a system that doesn't carry the risk of private information getting leaked.
