About Harvey and professionalism, I actually made up a headcanon for my farmer that can work with any farmer where after they're together be accidentally uses knowledge he knows about them through their medical history in their dating life.
It's not terrible or malicious of course just a slip up, I'll use my farmer as the example. I've made it that she has minor scoliosis and gets backaches, we know Harv loves giving massages so as her bf he offers her one but she's hesitant. She's a little insecure about how it looks and has never actually mentioned it.
And Harvey, poor awkward Harvey says "If it's about your scoliosis I already know-" then he takes a minute to think about what he's actually saying "That is so inappropriate I'm so sorry!"
"Harv it's ok... And yeah I guess if you already know I'll take that massage now" Then they talk about insecurity as partners etc.
That's the reaction I gave my farmer, I feel like that could vary.
When he starts learning stuff about the farmer as their partner not their doctor it's less awkward.
I TOTALLY agree with this!! Harvey is just so genuine in a way that makes my heart hurt

Harvey: Medical Slip-Ups
Harvey is the type of guy to categorize people. Not in a "human robot" way, but he kind of files everything he knows about someone into his mind. This concept partly comes from me headcanoning him as autistic. He has a bit of trouble properly separating "work" and "personal" unless he gets meticulous about it, so that's what he does - but wires tend to get a bit crossed.
Again, Harvey doesn't have many close relationships in town. He prefers to keep things mostly professional, and he usually likes it that way. (yes, it gets a bit lonely, but he figures that's part of the job)
This is why he has a bit of trouble properly separating "personal medical information" from "things I know about my partner" - he's a bit out of practice with the whole maintaining-close-relationships thing. It ends up as a jumbled mess of information in his head.
He's SO well meaning about it, and he feels horrible for even knowing these things when he realizes they're not typically something you tell to a guy you've just been dating for a little while. He has a bit of residual guilt, especially if he's still technically the farmer's doctor.
He's a bit overbearing about certain things, though he definitely tries not to be. He gets worried!!
Even with someone who doesn't have particularly "physical" ailments/disabilities, he knows that taking care of yourself is hard (trust me... he knows...) and he tries, in his own not-so-subtle way, to at least make things a little easier.

When Harvey and the farmer are growing closer I like to think they decide respectfully to drop him as a doctor aside from emergencies, which he's actually ok with cause before they do, things are starting to get weird and he's feeling like he's not being professional.
Eg. They strain their shoulder and go to get it checked then feel themselves growing flustered as he massages the sore shoulder. Or he's filling in paperwork after their visit and takes a minute to realise he's blushing. They both start getting worried about his Hippocratic Oath!
They initiate it cause I love the HC that he's in denial and hesitant about his feelings at first but he's actually relieved when they say "I'm going to a doctor in the city now, you're a great doctor but I want to just be your friend"
Now the scary part Harv, no more professional boundaries holding you back. I HC Harv with catching feelings is that he's anxious at first and the farmer has to ask him out but after that hurdle he's the one who proposes. He never wants them to doubt his love 💖
This is honestly one of the most complicated dynamics in the game lol. I kind of only wrote some thoughts about pre-relationship feelings.

Harvey/Farmer Dropping the Professional Relationship
For one, I think a large part of Harvey's initial hesitance in the relationship (even the platonic side of it) is his reluctance to destroy any professionalism with the townsfolk. He's the only doctor in town, and doesn't have many actual friends - not that he's disliked, but it's that he maintains a healthy professional relationship with everyone, and not much more. He wants to make sure that nothing would get in the way of someone seeking medical attention.
This is also a big contributor to his initial shyness towards the farmer. He's excellent at projecting the "I know what I'm doing" vibe, because. Well. He does know what he's doing. But that really only extends to patients - once it comes to his own interpersonal relationships, he's a bit lost on what to do. (God, feelings?? How is he supposed to navigate that??)
He is so relieved when the farmer tells him they'll see another doctor, especially once they start getting closer. It's surprisingly very freeing - A lot of Harvey's nervousness comes from knowing that one slip-up would not only cost him a personal relationship, but also a professional one.
He definitely gets a bit more confident after that (Not to an insane degree - he's still Harvey, after all). He's very willing to initiate more "friendly" outings, but any hint of something more will freeze him up. He's only so capable.
He tells himself that a platonic relationship with the farmer is perfectly acceptable, and he's ready for it. He is capable of maintaining friendly relationships with his patients, so why not with the farmer?
He's very wrong
Yeah, as soon as he fully acknowledges his feelings, he's done for. All of that initial nervousness comes back, because a mess-up with the farmer would mean losing almost any interaction with them, plus one of the only close relationships he has in town.
He cools down eventually once he accepts that the feelings aren't a super big deal (mostly going back to his semi-casual demeanor).
Once he's asked out? Over the moon. He had genuinely prepared himself to bottle that up forever.

The farmer nicknaming Harvey Doc? It extends into their personal life, they affectionately call him Doc at home and they even say it in their vows <3
This is super cute. I can never get enough of this man, he's my everything
I kept this kind of short bc I honestly don't have much for it, but I hope you enjoy :)
Requests are open!
Farmer Nicknaming Harvey "Doc"
Tumblr media
The first instance of the nickname is definitely when the relationship is still platonic, even a bit professional. He doesn't really mind; a lot of the townsfolk literally just call him "Doctor Harvey".
Once you two start to get closer as friends rather than as patient-doctor, he reminds you that you don't have to call him doc; he's just Harvey :) it takes him a bit to understand that it's just a little nickname.
Once he does realize that, though, he smiles a bit each time you call him that. He's not super close with anybody in town, so it's nice to have a little nickname just for him (even if it is just his job).
He likes being known as a caretaker and a professional. Sure, it's not normally very healthy to have your work life and personal life this mixed, but you can't really avoid that in a town this small. He thinks it's alright, at least; he knows how to keep things separate when he needs to.
That being said, the nickname becomes more of a personal thing rather than just relating to his profession; he sees it less as you acknowledging his job and more of just a thing between you two (even though a few other people call him Doc occasionally; it's different).
Once the relationship is established as romantic, he gets more and more endeared by the nicknames, especially Doc. It makes him feel special and appreciated <3

Ok so we’ve thought about reverse game events like which marriage candidates would actually ask you out/propose but how about bachelors/bachelorettes who don’t want kids? With some it’s obvious they’d want to be parents like Harvey, Penny, Haley and Sam with some being house spouses and the game defaults to it but I’m pretty sure not everyone would actually want to be a parent, not in a negative way they just wouldn’t want it. I think Abigail wouldn’t want to be a mom, she wants to adventure and I think she’d want to actually overcome her fears and explore the mines and travel with the player before she’d consider having kids at all. I’m uncertain on characters like Sebastian, Emily and Leah.
I think this is really interesting as well. It's clear from a lot of character dialogue that some characters either wouldn't want kids or wouldn't be ready for them (at least with the dialogue we get post-marriage). I didn't include everyone, just the ones you mentioned and the ones I think would be most interesting to talk about :)

How Ready Bachelor/ettes Are For Kids
Bachelorettes
Abigail
I agree with you on this point - I don't think Abigail is at a point in her life where she would consider having children. Even compared to Sebastian and Sam, she seems a bit immature, at least in respects to having a family. She has a lot of soul-searching to do, lol. I think once she has her life figured out, though, it's not out of the question.
Leah
I think the way that Leah lives her life actually leaves a lot of room for kids, especially after all of her heart events. She seems very mature and down-to-earth. I talked about it in a few previous posts; she always seems like she's ready for the "next big thing".
Emily
I honestly think Emily would love to have kids. She might not be completely ready for it at first, but at the end of the day, she's actually very responsible (at least from what we see from her heart events). Even if she didn't have kids, she would be the GREATEST aunt this world has ever seen.
Bachelors
Sebastian
I didn't go too in-depth with this on my other post, so I'll talk more about it here. A lot of the reason that Sebastian wanted to leave Pelican Town was because he felt stunted, or like he was never taken seriously (and for good reason; none of his concerns, even about his work, were taken seriously by family/friends). I honestly think he's the most mature out of his trio, he's just not being given space to mature, if that makes sense. On the matter of children, that's definitely not something he's ready for right out of the gate, but I don't think it's something he's put completely off the table.
Shane
I might sound like a broken record saying this, but I think Shane is one of the bachelor/ettes who wants kids the most; he's just not quite ready for it initially, and he knows that. I think it would take a lot of therapy and planning for him to be fully prepared for something like that, even with his prior experience of raising Jas. Raising a kid when you're not ready can really put you off of having more.
I hope you enjoyed!! I've had a ton of prompts related to kids lol, I'll try to do some others before getting onto this topic again.

Of the canon couples who do we think has a mermaids pendant and who were married outside of the valley with a ring? By dialogue I think Caroline and Pierre moved after marriage, so did Jodi and Kent but George and Evelyn grew up and married in the valley. Y'know how the OG seasonal mod had the bachelor/rettes wear a marriage pendant after getting married, I was just thinking about who of the other villiagers would wear a pendant and who would have a ring on.
Oooh this is fun! I think there's a lot of different canon ways to get married, especially considering the ring you can give another player in order to get married. I think it's fun that there's no singular way to do it.
Requests are open 🦇
Canon Couples And Their Pendants
Tumblr media
Caroline + Pierre
Since it's canon that they haven't always lived in the valley, I think they probably have matching engagement/ceremony rings (like those ones where the ceremony ring can slot into the engagement ring). I also think they would have likely renewed their vows at some point while living in the valley, so Caroline probably has her own mermaids pendant (I think Pierre would prefer just the rings for himself).
Evelyn + George
These two probably renew their vows at every possible opportunity. Evelyn definitely wears her original pendant every day; George might not, but definitely keeps it somewhere tucked away and safe. I think with how long they've been living in the valley, their shells look somewhat different to the ones we see in game. I was thinking something more pearlescent.
Kent + Jodi
While they did get married outside of Pelican Town, I think they would have renewed their vows sometime shortly after moving (or at least before Kent was sent off). Jodi wears hers every day under her shirt, but takes it out/off to hold during prayer at Pierre's. I think while Kent is away, he prefers not to wear it while he's out; something about a precious part of him like that having to witness the atrocities of war doesn't sit right with him. It's his biggest comfort to come back and look at it.
Robin + Demetrius
Both Robin and Demetrius are very practical/straightforward people. They don't seem like the types to get upset at each other for occasionally taking off the pendant, and I think they had simplistic wedding bands until moving to the valley. That being said, they wear it whenever they can; just not while working.
Rasmodius
I don't think Rasmodius and his ex-wife had mermaids pendants; they both seem very well traveled, so I think they likely picked up a different custom from somewhere else. Rasmodius still has his keepsake buried somewhere.
I hope you enjoyed! I considered doing Pam as well, but I can't find anything about her being canonically married at one point. (If she had been, she would have thrown that thing out.)

headcanons about Haley falling in love with the farmer? love your blog btw!
Thank you! I’ve been a little inactive so I’m trying to crank out a few posts before going dormant again. Haley was the first bachelorette I ever considered dating, actually! Who can resist a mean blonde, right?
Tumblr media
Gender neutral reader 🦇
Haley realizing she’s fallen for you is a sudden thing, but her process of falling in love is slow and steady, if that makes sense. Over time she just finds more and more things she likes about you, and one day it just all blows up and she realizes “oh my god, I love them.”
It definitely accumulates when you've barged in on one of her photo sessions while she's outside. She's ruminating on how annoying you are and is like "Yeah but at least I really like them. Wait."
She’s a little flirty, but in such a subtle way that it’s frustrating. It's to the point where you're questioning reality??
Her way of trying to subtly ask you out are... interesting, to say the least. She just kind of flippantly goes "Hey I'm taking pictures at the pond. You should come with me." (She is freaking out on the inside)
She definitely considers these little outings as dates. She probably starts taking your picture as well. "Yoba, c'mon, the light is just really nice. Hold still."
Don't even try to ask her if this is a date. She will deny it to hell and back.
I think if this went on for long enough without either of you making a move, she would try to manufacture a situation where you obviously couldn't resist asking her out. (See: Dark room event)
If that didn't work, I think she would break and just ask you out herself. Sometimes a girl's gotta work for what she wants (Even if she really, REALLY doesn't want to)
It's a very spur-of-the-moment thing, probably around when you've got to get back to working and she just goes "HEY. DO YOU. WANT TO GO OUT. TOGETHER." And ofc you live happily ever after <33

Farmer asking Bachelor/ettes If They Want Kids
Tumblr media
Bachelors
Harvey
-save him save him. This is all he needs -It definitely happens like in canon, where you’re both laying in bed and you just ask all of a sudden -he’s always dreamed about having a cute little family, this is literally his dream come to life -he starts crying I’m SORRY -He’s just all like “You really want to?? Are you sure??? If you aren’t ready we can wait, I love you so much I want this so badly” while he’s hugging you and kissing your head -He starts like.. making a game plan -It’s so funny -Like, he’s a doctor and knows EXACTLY what times you should start trying if you want to get pregnant -If you want to adopt, he’s right on top of things doing research into adoption agencies or fostering -Every night you go to bed afterwards, he just starts asking you random things about what you’re going to need for the baby and.. legitimately asks you if you think the baby will like him. -He is so stressed and so excited all at the same time
Sam
-He is OVERJOYED -YOU want a KID? With HIM??? -He’s really good with kids because he had to help raise his brother when he was younger, so he’s actually got things pretty well handled -He’ll randomly ask you things like “Do you think the baby will be a dog person or a cat person?” Or “What if the baby grows up to play music and they join my band??” And other insane shit like that ❤ -He and abby 100% paint the nursery with you -definitely gets advice and tips from his mom :) -Speaking of his mom, she gets super involved -She means well, but it definitely gets a little annoying -Eventually she chills out and lets you two handle it. She’ll give you boxes upon boxes of old clothes and supplies from both Sam AND Vincent when they were babies (She’s sentimental and kept it all, okay? 💔) -Vincent was really confused when told he would be an uncle because he was under the impression that uncles are just random middle aged guys who are related to you, but after it was explained, he starts going around and telling literally anyone who will listen, including total strangers
Shane
-He’s crying, you’re crying, everyone’s crying.. the floor is now wet, and SOMEONE needs to mop -He never thought anyone would think he’s capable of raising a kid. I mean, he barely made it by when Jas was younger. -Jas has always really really wanted a sibling so she’s ecstatic when you tell her -I have a headcanon that a little after Shane starts trying to get clean, Jas calls him dad once on accident (whether it’s related to his new demeanor or attitude towards her/trying to be more involved is up to interpretation) and he decides then and there that he just can’t give up on fixing his life. He loves Jas so much, and having another child is just kind of the cement in the idea of “wow, they really love me, I’m going to be okay. I’m going to make it.” -Probably happens one morning on the farm, everything is calm and you’re both just looking out on the life you built together.
Sebastian
-He never really thought he would feel “ready” to have a kid, but a few years into marriage, he feels really satisfied in life. He used to feel really stationary and like he wasn’t really progressing, like he was stuck in a state of adolescence (partly because he still had to deal with his stepdad as a 20-something.) It was part of the reason he wanted to move to Zuzu -He doesn’t realize he wants a kid until you bring it up. You’re probably watching a video or TV show where theres a wholesome family scene and you’re all like “sigh, that could be us” -and it aaalllll clicks for him -He doesn’t really know what to research, he just knows he should be researching something.. he definitely goes to harvey, and even online forums for new dads. -Robin is so excited to have a grandkid! She helps build all the furniture you’ll need, and even offers to renovate the rest of the house to be baby-proof.
Elliott
-Very spur of the moment with him. You’re likely eating dinner or doing something relaxing together -When you ask him, he’s (ironically) very lost for words -might even STUTTER! For the first time in his LIFE. His eyes are blown wide and he just can’t believe this is happening -He loves you so much, and knowing that you love and trust him enough to want to raise a child together is everything to him. Enough to bring him to tears -and it does. He’s crying and holding you tight -He never thought that his lonely little life by the seaside would turn into something this fantastical
Alex
-Fucking ecstatic. -The second you ask him he’s just blurting out “YES” -He didn’t have the best life growing up, he wants to give this kid everything he never had - … good luck unspoiling that child -Legitimately debates people on what the kids favorite sport or gridball team will be. He gets heated -spends literally every waking moment with the kid, talking to them (even though they're a literal infant)
Bachelorettes
Leah
-When you ask, you’re probably relaxing after a long day, maybe having a bottle of wine when you pop the question -She’s all smiles and literally giggling, super excited by the idea of having a kid -Definitely the type to call a kid “mini-me” -She never has the excuse to make cute mini furniture, and now she does :) -She seems like the type to make her own wooden bowls and cups, so definitely expect some cutely carved little dishes for when the kid is older. Spoons, too!
Haley
-She never really saw herself as wanting kids in the future (mostly because the way she liked to live her life just didn’t have room for any) but after she settles down on the farm, she’s definitely up for it. -She LOOOVEES baby clothes, and accessories, and all the cute little bottles and toys- -Yeah, this basically just means you’re going on a MAJOR shopping spree -Emily also definitely helps with clothes! She’s super excited to be an auntie, so she’ll be pretty involved in the kids life :)
Abigail
-Honestly pretty hesitant about it at first, you would have to have a longer conversation (especially when it comes to responsibilities around the farm) -That being said, definitely excited once you have everything sorted. -Sam and Sebastian are that kids number ones. There is no choice in this matter. -I think she would get pretty worried/scared the closer the time comes, doing everything in her power to baby-proof the house to hell and back -Foam tips for the swords. That's all I'm saying
Emily
-SHE IS SO HAPPY DUDE -literally jumping up and down and tackling you -She is going to spend the next 3 straight weeks ONLY sewing baby clothes -They’re so tiny and cute and she never has an excuse to make them, she is making EVERYTHING that child wears -By the time the kid actually gets here, you’ll be set on clothes for a good three years -She’s super worried about the baby’s health for the first little while, both before it arrives and after. CONSTANT visits to Harvey, plus her own… holistic approach. (Yeah, the crib is lined with all the crystals she could get her hands on.)
Maru
-definitely excited by the idea! I think out of everyone (apart from Harvey) she would be the most meticulous about planning everything out (literally down to the layout of the crib.) -As with Abigail, she's baby-proofing your entire life, but MONTHS before the baby is even here. She says it's because she wants you two to "get used to it" but... we all know it's because she wants time to improve upon her homemade baby-proofing system -Starts mechanizing? The baby supplies?? Maru why does the crib have something plugged into it -She's surprisingly chill towards the end, still excited but feels like you both have a handle on the preparations.
Penny
-One of the most hesitant, but also one of the most excited. She's spent a good amount of her life taking care of children, and the idea that it could one day be her own kid is so incredibly heartwarming -She wants this kid to have the best support system possible; it's not really something she grew up with, so she wants to make sure that this kid has EVERYTHINGG -She’s a super good mom, and she’s great with kids. By the time the kid is old enough to be in school, Jas and Vincent are a little outside of the age range she’s able/licensed to teach, (I personally think she can teach between the ages of 4-10) so it’s mostly just going to be one-on-one lessons :) -Playdates. Constant playdates. Did I mention playdates?
Hope you enjoyed :) I’ve been thinking about properly romancing Alex one of these days, I never know what to write for him and end up making his short :( same with the girls, I’ve only ever married Emily. Time to start my *checks notes* 1,992nd Stardew Valley playthrough
Also, I just recently hit 1,000 hours on Stardew Valley 🎉

Ok so building of that HC about the companions proposing and giving bouquets. Without the format of the game, who’s asking the farmer if it’s time to have a baby, who’s getting asked by the farmer and who’s accidentally getting pregnant/someone pregnant?
Bachelor/ette Conversations About Having A Baby
Okay so ignoring the fact I haven’t been on this blog for literal years, I have a respiratory infection and decided this was the best way to spend my days off lol.  This prompt is really fun, so let’s try it out :) There was another similar one in my inbox, but it's slightly different, so I'm scheduling it for tomorrow. (I’ll also be trying to get to my years-old prompts in the inbox lmaoo)
Which bachelor/ettes are asking to have a baby?
Gender neutral reader 🦇
Tumblr media
Bachelorettes
Leah
I’ve discussed this before, but Leah really just doesn’t seem like the type to let things go unsaid. I do think she’s thought about it before, so when she springs it on you, it seems a little out of the blue – she’d still have an in-depth discussion, of course, but at the end of the day, if she knows that you both want a child, the actual decision moment would be pretty spontaneous (something similar to the actual in-game decision).
Emily
She’s definitely  the one to bring it up, and it’s very spur-of-the-moment. I think you would have to be the one to initiate the actual conversation about when, preparations, etc., and she is so on board for all of it. (also, immediately making clothes for infants).
Haley
I don’t think Haley would be one to initiate a conversation about having kids, mostly because I don’t think it’s something she’s thought about before. I also think she’s one of the most hesitant about it. She’s been very careful about accidents, so it would definitely be a multiple-month conversation about responsibilities, planning, all that jazz. That being said, once she’s fully prepared and knows what you two are getting into, she’s very excited!
Penny
DEFINITELY wants to talk it through first. She’s very happy with her life with you, and wants to make sure that you both know what you’re getting into. She’s already had a lot of experience taking care of (other people's) kids, so she’s definitely well-informed, and wants to make sure you are too. Also one of the ones who actively takes steps NOT to get accidentally pregnant. Once she knows it’s something you both want, it would be more of a “if it happens, it happens” thing.
Abigail
I think you would have to be the one to ask, and I don’t think she’d be ready for it too soon after marriage. She seems (and please don’t hate me for this) pretty immature in-game; more college-mentality than most of the other bachelor/ettes, at least. She wants to be able to get her life situated properly before making that decision. Once she is ready for it, though, she’s 100% willing to have a longer conversation with you about it.
Maru
Definitely one of the least likely to accidentally have a child. She wants to make sure that this is something you both want and are ready for, and she is so prepared to plan every meticulous detail. That being said, I think even if an accidental pregnancy were to happen, she wouldn’t be too freaked out about it – she has a great support system, and she’s sure you’ll both be fully prepared by the time the baby arrives.
Bachelors
Elliott
In my opinion, Elliott doesn’t really seem like the parent type, at least at this stage in his life. I think if he were to be ready for a child, it would be at some point after his book tour – he’s getting into the flow of having a balance between his writing life and actually living. That being said, I don’t think he would be the one to ask. He’d have to ruminate on it for a while, but ultimately, he wants a happy life with you, and a child wouldn’t get in the way of that if he works hard at it.
Shane
Shane DEFINITELY isn’t the one to bring it up, but he is also one of the bachelors who DEFINITELY wants children (at least in a more “think about it wistfully every once in a while” way). I think he feels quite guilty that Jas only has a few people to spend time with around town, as well as feeling like he’s never properly made her feel like family (this is also why I 100% believe she should have moved onto the farm with you in-game if you marry Shane). As with Elliott, it takes a bit of time for him to truly be ready for a kid. It would have to be a bit of a drawn-out affair, along with a lot of therapy, but he’d be incredibly happy to make that decision once he knows you’re both as prepared as you can be.
Alex
I think he could possibly be one of the ones to do it accidentally – not out of negligence, but mostly because I think there would have been a short conversation pre-marriage that concludes in, “So, we both want kids? Cool.” If the day were to come where a pregnancy/actual conversation about adoption has never come up, then I do think he would talk to you about that, especially if you’ve made it clear to him that you want kids.
Sam
Similarly to Alex, I think it would be more of a “we’ll see what happens” thing. If he knows that you two are actively trying for a kid, he is reading So. Much. Stuff. About raising/having kids. He kind of has prior experience with his brother being so much younger than him, but still, his mother was doing most of that work – he wants to be as prepared as possible. I’m not sure he would explicitly bring up having a kid unless it was clear that there needed to be a conversation.
Sebastian
A lot of people feel bad about “making” Sebastian stay in Pelican Town, since his dream was always to move to the big city, but from what I’ve seen he seems very genuinely happy moving in with the farmer. I think his biggest issue was feeling like people don’t take his adult responsibilities seriously, and because of that, I think he’s very willing to discuss having a kid. He’s prepared and willing to take on any responsibilities necessary.
Harvey
He would be the one to bring it up first – I think he would really want kids, and wants to make sure that you both have everything you need before that day comes. He’s very adamant about having a proper plan, even if it seems a bit too in-depth at times (can you really blame him??). If you’re pregnant, I think he would want you to at least consider having the baby in Zuzu City – he wants to be fully present with you rather than focusing on the procedure. If you’re adopting, that is a MAJOR weight off of his shoulders.

Wow, sorry about the lack of posts. Finals week is hitting my life like a grenade. I’m working on a few requests right now, so here are a few short friendship headcanons while people wait :3

Bachelor/ette friendships
I think canonically the game would take place sometime in the 90s, but the idea of the ASS squad using modern day slang just feels right. Can you imagine the kind of group chats those 3 have made? I know personally from having a trio of friends for most of my life that trios are the most dispositioned for chaos. I’m talking CONSTANT pranks, fake (but ultimately harmless) rumors, and a surprising amount of gossip. They don’t mean anything by it, but these secret group chats have definitely caused a fight or two.
Speaking of gossip, I think Sebastian and Haley would be really good friends if given the opportunity. They refuse to interact with eachother, but they’ve both got the perfect amount of bitchyness to wreak havoc. Maybe it’s for the best that they aren’t friends.
Shane doesn’t realize Emily actually likes spending time with him. The only times they really talk is when she’s on the job and he’s drinking, so he sees it as more of a “She’s bored at her job and would talk to literally anyone” thing. He doesn’t fully get that they’re friends until the clothing therapy thing.
ON THE TOPIC OF SHANE AND EMILY. Technically every bachelor is paired with a bachelorette if you don’t romance either of them, and Shane and Emily are one of those couples. Like… Does this just confirm that Shanes type is crazy people who won’t stop talking to him. Is that it
Maru talks to Harvey about family drama and he tries his absolute best to stay professional about it. He gives little pieces of advice here and there, but ultimately it’s just an internal monologue of “I did not need this deep of a look into Maru’s family..”
Despite that… Harvey is a GOSSIP. I don’t know what inspired this inside me, but him and Maru 100% gossip when the clinic is empty. Can you really blame them? Barely anyone comes in for emergencies, and with such a small town there’s bound to be a few rumors going around every week. He would never gossip about medical information, mind you!
Abigail and Leah HAVE to have talked about art together, right? Sure, they’re into different types of art (with Leahs being much more physical) but in my own experience, connecting with other artists irl is such a fun time regardless of medium. I would love to see some sort of collab piece from them.
