Hey guys, long time no see! ♡

Has it been 7 months already, wow. Now I’m back...sort of. 

A lot has changed. I had COVID in November, spend a month recovering from it, which had a huge impact on my health. 😓 After recovering I decided to focus more on my health (both physical and mental), my family and my other hobbies like painting and reading (my TBR list is insane at the moment) and, most importantly, to spending less time on computer.

I miss my game and simblr community and all your beautiful blogs of course. ♡♡♡ I...I just not sure how active I’ll be on here... OMG I used to spend a huge amount of my time on my game and if I’m honest I have zero desire to do it ever again. Ever! I think I can see myself playing the game again sometimes, maybe building when the mood strikes....idk. I still have a few posts in my draft from October, so if my blog suddenly became a bit autumish and witchy, that’s why.

There’s a lot of unanswered /WCIF’s, some of them are a few months old...oops. Guys who asked me them, I hope you’ll forgive me if they stay unanswered. My mods folder is in such a disarray, I'm afraid I'm not much help with finding anything right now...

Anyway, hope you all are doing well and enjoy your days! ❤️

Hello, lovely person! 💜 First of all, thank you so much!!  What game are we talking about? If Sims 3, then I would like to post some gameplay, I really do. I even build a fantasy save specifically for playing last year, but unfortunately my laptop can’t handle The Sims 3 for playing on decent settings without terrible lags. Anyway, I’ll definitely post more stuff soon, for both games, there’re a lot of unedited screenshots waiting for me to edit them. Some randoms too. Autumn/simblreen always give me inspiration, just need to find some free time, between work and dealing with health issues I haven’t even had time to check tumblr recently.

hi natalie! your ts3 pictures are my absolute favorite. i was wondering what lighting mod and reshade preset you’re using? the lighting and colors in your screenshots is always so good, i can’t seem to get mine to look that good ;-; also, what are your favorite worlds?

Hey, Rudy! Thank you so much!! means a lot coming from you <3 I hope you don’t mind me answering this publicly, maybe someone will find it useful. Oh yeah, the lighting in game can be really ugly, sometimes it’s a challenge to take a good shot, I have a few tips that are useful for taking screenshots, not sure about gameplay because I haven’t played Sims 3 in years.

Lighting mod. I have a few favorite mods and change them depends on situation. Uranesian weather with clouds and night sky by nilxis​ (especially beautiful at night) and Perfect Day or Blue Skies lighting mods by brntwaffles.

Lighting Tweaks by gelina is a must have, just make sure that they’re not already included with a lighting mod.

Reshade. I’ve been using Reshade 2.0 for ages. There’re a lot of great presets, but my favorite are Preset 1, Preset 2, Preset 3 and my personal preset which is a combination of these three (if I’m not mistaken it’s Preset #1 with Bloom settings from Preset 2 and some slight changes in DOF settings).

Invisible lights a perfect thing for indoor/outdoor/portrait screenshots or even gameplay. I always use them in my builds to highlight certain objects.

Mostly I take outdoor screensotts during sunsets or wait for a gloomy weather in game, when the lighting is more beautiful and not too bright.
