I have so much respect for Ryan R Reynolds for playing the long game. For YEARS he pitched scripts, dropped references, made phone calls, begged, PLEADED with studios to make his gay ass ship sail, despite one of the characters being played by an actor who LITERALLY RETIRED. And yet he never gave up. He kept going for so long that he eventually PULLED THAT ACTOR OUT OF RETIREMENT to do it. They slipped past censors with an r rating and LOADS of subtext to create what is possibly the gayest superhero movie of all time. And Ryan finally got to live out his homoerotic dreams to see his deadpoolxwolverine5everrrr ship become as close to canon as physically possible AND also flirt with Hugh Jackman for an entire project. It’s the most inspiring story of 2024. Never give up on ur dreams <3 especially if they’re gay as hell

Yesterday I read an artist post their Sherlock fanart and said something like "drawing Sherlock is relaxing", and hell yeah I agree.

Benedict Cumberbatch have unique face and features, and that's what makes him/Sherlock a lil bit easier to draw. My obsession with Sherlock already fade away, but drawing him still give me some comfort.

People downplay Akemi's impact on Mizu because she's not the "cool, sword wielding badass" when she's just as stubborn, independent, ambitious and brave as Mizu. Only that her means are more psychological. Akemi is the DEUTARAGONIST. She comes close to Mizu's screen time and equals her character arc in the story. She has her own ost, (Akemi's suite, The Young Edo Bride, Thankyou for My Ember) she occupies a prominent position in BES posters alongside Mizu, the ending focused solely on Akemi becoming guardian to her Father parallel to Mizu capturing Fowler. Both men who dictated their lives. Ep 5 is the turning point for both of them when Akemi gives up on love and chooses greatness and Mizu realises the importance of love. They are a league apart, and no other character is going to replace that prominence as much as you wish they would. Akemi and Mizu's paths are tied, they are bound to cross again and culminate into a deeper bond, whether to serve romance, friendship or enmity. I don't mind ships at all but when people say that Mizu never cared about Akemi because she's annoying or an inconvenience to her??? Watch the damn show!
