Hiii, thank you so much for the request and your kind words! I really hope the tutorial will be of some assistance. To answer your question- yes, my sims can do all of those things!

They all have their own sliders so they can still move their face and whatnot. This is unlike in the past when I experimented with mesh heads. Those were a lot creepier and would be a prime example of sims always having the same facial expression/not being able to talk, blink, open mouth, etc. My sims can do all of these as I said, but let me tell you- they don’t look cute in action!

Now when they are posed, it’s a different story. I tend to lean more towards using subtle expressions because posing the faces of sims can make them look different as if they have a completely different structure. One of the parts I do not like would be the cheeks. Moving the cheeks of the sims upward in a pose hides the details on my skins. So when I pose any of them, I try to avoid moving areas other than their mouths, eyebrows, upper and lower lids. It really just depends on what I want the pose to look like. Hopefully I explained this okay!

Here’s an update on what my skin ended up looking like. It still needs some work bc it’s really not pretty from the side, but I don’t think it’s too bad :)

This tutorial includes Blender, Photoshop, and technically TS3Ripper and S3PE though I didn’t use them on camera. If you watch and wanna follow along, great! Though before you do, I really recommend having some basic, BASIC knowledge of Blender like how to scale and select things. I try to explain it if not. And in Photoshop, I just kind of showed what I did so it’s good to have knowledge of that program as well.

If you watch and are confused by anything, just let me know. I’m always up for messaging! I hope this helps!

Just a wip skin for the tutorial requested ! It’s a redo of one i’ve done in the past, but I never really used the skin/sim so I’m excited to see how it turns out.

Actually I have a speed tutorial up on my YouTube! I don’t think it was very helpful unless you..well, slow it down. I can do a tutorial when I find some time to, though! I’ve always wanted to do one. And as far as videos I can direct you to, the series that helped me learn the fastest is called “Blender for noobs”. I was probably the noobiest (I’m making up words) as they come, but it helped me so so much! Good luck with your meshing journey, and please don’t hesitate if you need any help with a mesh. I’ll help to the best of my ability 😂💕

Hi, guys. If you’re reading this, I will assume you have an idea of what the title is about. For quite some time, I have fought myself on whether or not I should end this account as rp or not. I won’t go into depth as to why, but I just wanted to give a farewell and heads up before changing anything. I have been so happy to see the people I follow on my dash and their amazing sims. I have truly been humbled by the very start of my simumblr journey from 2015 until now. I’ll transition into my ooc account soon, so if anyone would like to unfollow me, that’s fine.
