[ ACNH to TS3 ] Functional Music Boxes

There are 6 different music boxes in TS3, and while the sound effects are great, they look really rough. The first time I saw the ballerina doll, it really gave me a fright. 😲 So, recently, whenever I have some free time, I've been trying to create my own music boxes.

Animal Crossing is my favorite game on the Switch. The villagers are just too adorable. Even now, I still open the game during New Year's and on my birthday to celebrate with them. I think it would be amazing to see these characters in The Sims 3 too. My favorite villager is Jacob (I call him "Fishcake" because of the Chinese pun on his name). He loves food, so I made his music box base a whole birthday cake. I also paired other lazy villagers with food. 🤣

動物森友會是我最喜歡的 Switch 遊戲。那些居民真的太可愛了。 一直到現在，新年和生日的時候我都會打開遊戲和小動物一起慶祝。 我想如果能在模擬市民裡也見到這些角色一定很棒吧。 我最愛的小動物是呆萌的余板（我都叫他魚板），他很喜歡吃東西，所以我給他的底座是一整個生日蛋糕。 其他悠閒系的居民我也都搭配上了食物 🤣 滿滿的私心，這幾位都是我島上的常駐居民。

💖 MySims Functional Toys Set 💖

While waiting to make sure everyone who wants to gets a chance to vote in the poll, I finished up this little set I had partially finished. I hope you like it!

*A note about King Roland & Princess Butter: There is something strange happening with the mesh that I can't figure out. It doesn't affect anything besides the way that it looks (see above it has strange bright spots and shadowed contrast between faces in the back of those two objects only). It looks normal in Blender & Sims 4 Studio. Since it is only in the back of the object, if you are using them for a toy display it will not show. I of course am not happy with how those two look because of this issue, but they are really adorable otherwise and I figured that people might want them anyway, so they are included. & if anyone knows how to fix that issue, please tell me! Or if you go ahead and fix it yourself let me know and I will update those files & the downloads, with a credit to you in the package file description & posts.

@surely-sims messaged me earlier today with the truly delightful surprise that she had fixed King Roland & Princess Butter's mesh issues. Those packages have been updated, as well as the zipped folder with all the files. And a huge, heartfelt thank you to Surely, it was unexpected since people are busy, and such a kind thing to do. Now everyone can have nice-looking versions of them. And not only that, she also taught me how to fix that issue myself. A million thanks, Surely!

Tears of Zelda Hair

Well guess what, my current obsession is Legend of Zelda! Zelda's hair in TOTK is so cute, and since I haven't seen anything similar before, I decided to give it a try on Blender. And I managed to model the braid from scratch, I'm really proud of it 🥰

For female, all ages, not valid for random.

Found in hats, with two presets: one with hair clips, and other without. (and thanks anon, now I can't unsee the horns lol)

EA highlights

No morphs, but won’t clip in fat sims

Known issue: some very tiny transparency issues on the sides and in the back. (I mean, even EA hair have worse so 🤷‍♀️)

Turkey Day Furniture Series Converted From Animal Crossing: New Horizons for The Sims 2

Happy Turkey Day everyone! I hope you enjoy another cute set from Animal Crossing <3 I will be doing some Sims spin-offs conversions sometime soon, I just love this game too haha. This set comes with both the Fall and Spring swatches. I'm still learning how to make functional food, so this only includes decorative food for now. I have also made 1 tile versions of both the Turkey Day tables. The Turkey Day Decorations and Cornucopia are 2-tile wide, which I couldn't figure out how to slot on tables as you would in Animal Crossing, so I achieved this by using Lamare's Shiftable Everything mod. I'd highly recommend that mod and Lamare's Auto Table Settings mod, for the Turkey Day table setting! I have made two versions of the Turkey Day Table Setting; one is just decoration, and looks like the original (with an added beverage). The other's model was adjusted to work properly as a functional placemat.
