this will be a long read so i apologize in advance!

in the past months, i’ve been really struggling financially due to losing my job back in november. that’s also why i had a hiatus for a few months before recently coming back. i had a scare emergency which made me have to fly back home (my mom was hospitalized and i didn’t want to be away in case anything happened to her)

because of this, i had to immediately leave my position at work without much notice, although i did explain to my supervisors what was going on. unfortunately, i stayed back home longer than i thought i would be gone, because she wasn’t getting better, so my job was no longer available to me when i got back. that really was such a blow in the stomach and it made it harder for me to keep up with all of my payments.

my family helped me as much as they could when i got back (we were never a wealthy family, so anything they gave me was a big help), but that was only enough to help me cover my rent. they also have hospital bills they had to pay & are still paying.

i have been applying online and walking into places to see if they will hire me, but i haven’t had any luck. i even tried going back to my old job to see if i was able to get my position back, but apparently, human resources didn’t get the memo that i had to leave due to a family emergency, so when i was terminated it went on my file that i was not rehireable. i started driving for uber / lyft, but i barely made it by because of the inconsistency with requests.

because i am unable to pay for pretty much anything, in the span of these past couple of months, i’ve had my car repossessed (so no more income from uber/lyft), my furniture was also taken away because it was on loan — they have the right to take it back if i don’t pay. i’ve been sleeping on an air mattress and using my phone as a hot spot to power my computer whenever possible, or when my phone isn’t working, i’ll walk to the closest place that has wifi, in order for me to keep sending in my resume for jobs.

i woke up about an hour ago to find out that my phone had been disconnected again. that’s my only source of communication with potential job offers. i wasn’t able to pay the full amount so the service was shut off. with the beginning of next month coming up, which means i also need to pay rent, i don’t know how i’ll be able to afford turning my service back on or even paying for rent on Feb 1st. i can’t even count on sleeping in my car if i need to since it got repossessed. so i don’t know what i’m going to do…

long story short, i need help.

i never thought i’d be posting my troubles online, but i have nowhere else to turn. i honestly feel terrible asking anything of this community, or of anyone really. i don’t want to seem as if i’m taking advantage of anyone. i know this may be a long shot, and maybe this won’t accomplish anything, but i’m praying and hoping that this might be seen by those who may be able to help, even a reblog to signal boost this will help me out so much.

i’m not creative or artistic, and i wish i could trade something in return, but all i know how to do is make sims fhdkdj i’m terrible at builds, i don’t make cc, and i suck at drawing :(( i would be more than happy to offer anything in return, so if there is anything that i can do within my scope, please reach out to me.

MY MOM HAS CANCER. I’M BEGGING FOR HELP

Hello everyone, my name is Ewa, I’m from Poland. My mom was diagnosed with CERVICAL CANCER stage 3B G2 back in June (SQUAMUS CELL CARCINOMA G2; Carcinoma planoepitheliale G2, invasio carcinomatosa vasorum). Since then she had only FIVE RADIATIONS (20 Gy in total) and that’s all - NO PLANS FOR CHEMO OR SURGERY. She may receive a few more radiations next year only if she’s still alive til that time and there’s an extensive bleeding. Otherwise no.

Her health problems began in February, since then she had JJ tubes put in both ureters which later were replaced with nephrostomy tubes in both kidneys. She had a massive Enterococcus faecium infection treated with Vancomycin. Lately she had another massive infection when docs put a nephrostomy tube in her left kidney. It was treated with Linezolid.

SHE DOESN’T EAT ANYMORE, SHE CAN’T GET UP, SHE CAN’T TAKE A SHOWER, SHE CAN’T DO ANYTHING ANYMORE.

Her oncologist didn’t give her a referral to a hospice nor a palliative care specialist. I had to beg my mom’s GP to receive them. We were left alone. We don’t have any family, there’s only she and I. I’m disabled person with several chronic conditions. I have to have a knee surgery but I can’t go to a hospital right now, I have to be with my mom all the time and take care of her.

I’M BEGGING FOR HELP TO BUY A WHEELCHAIR, ANTI PRESSURE ULCERS MATTRESS, NUTRICIA DRINKS, URINE COLLECTION BAGS, ANTIBIOTICS AND PROBIOTICS IF NEEDED, SUPPLEMENTS LIKE POTASSIUM, CRP HOME TESTS AND CBD OIL.

I can’t afford all that due to a very small income.

Please, I’m begging you, help me and my mom. I can provide all medical documents if requested but I have them only in Polish.

It’s only a brief description of what has been happening in the last few months. If you’re interested I can tell whole story from the beginning.

I really hate 2 ask this but..

I’m £97 overdrawn and I don’t have an overdraft, meaning that I’m going to be charged £5 every day until I get to £800 and they’ll close my account OR I pay it back. So in other words, I’m fucked. I don’t know how this happens as I keep a notepad with all of my transactions on my desk and note them ALL down. It’s probably some fees I miscalculated or something… I don’t know but I am stressed as fuck. I rang the bank and they were no help at all. Told me to pay it back or… Nothing ;o; I feel like scum asking for help of you guys but I’m really in trouble here. I have rent and bills I need to pay this month coming up shortly and I’m starting back at college so I need petrol and other things on top of it all, UGH.

summer skeletons - reshade preset for 3.4.1 (6k follower gift)

named for the song i was listening to on repeat as i took the preview shots!! this started as just messing around with some settings and turned into something i actually liked enough to want to share!! i also never got around to making a 6k follower (that’s so many wow ilu!!!!!) gift, so here it is!!

i would not recommend using this for gameplay, it’s pretty effects heavy and and might make your game crash! (it works fine for me but i have a very grunty pc!)

reshade information:

requires reshade 3.4.1 and qUINT shaders!! you can download 3.4.1 HERE and qUINT shaders HERE, but be sure to check out THIS TUT since this preset was made with earlier versions of some shaders so there might be some issues!! 

of the qUINT shaders this only uses quint bloom but also works with ADOF!

if you don’t have reshade check out this tutorial on how to install and add presets for sims 4

edge smoothing must be turned off for DOF to work!
