After being displaced from northern Gaza, they were crowded into a school 🏫 turned into a shelter for the displaced, where five families are crammed into one classroom, after our home was completely destroyed under heavy bombing. My mother, who suffers from diabetes and high blood pressure 💉, endures without treatment, and my father, who was once our support, has become immobile, unable to move. Whenever I speak to them, I see despair in their eyes, as if they are waiting for a tragic end.

I am here asking for your help, as I am unable to save them on my own. I migrated in search of treatment for myself and to help my family improve their circumstances, but the road remains difficult.

oo! okay! lets see as said before, I don't know how long it took unfortunately. and this one was a WHILE ago so I don't even have an estimate.

the file is called "baby bird.mdp" (its from back when I worked in FireAlpaca!)

it has 12 layers, 3 of which are reference images (nealuchi official art, a sampling of renaissance paintings for colour reference, and some stock photos of people holding babies bc the pose gave me trouble), and only 3 of which are visible in the final piece! I tend to sketch and colour on different layers and then merge them together for painting, but I use "merge to new layer" so I can keep the old layers to refer back to if I lose the energy while I'm rendering. sometimes I do this with initial thumbnails or really rough sketches as well, so sometimes my old files wind up full of what is essentially snapshots of the process.

hello! I really love your websites! how did you do the little particle effect after the cursor, like the rainbow dust on keysklubhouse? I'm new to html and I've been trying to figure out how to do that sort of effect, but I'm in a little over my head, and I haven't been able to find a tutorial for it. its a javascript thing, right? is it difficult? if the answer's really complicated and takes too much energy to type out then no worries, I just figured it wouldn't hurt to ask! have a lovely day!!

Hello! Thank you! Yes, the mousetrail is javascript, and nah, it's not very difficult. You pretty much just plunk the javascript file in your web directory and copy and paste the code. Even editing the javascript file to change the colors is pretty straightforward!

To be honest it's been a while since I set mine up but I got my code from here (https://tholman.com/cursor-effects/) and he has instructions on his github for installing. You're also welcome to look at my code if it helps you figure it out. :)
