I was rewatching 'Premature Death' when I noticed something. Does anyone else think that the voice that asks 'why?' at 0:49 does not sound human? Could it be that the cursed spirit that Suguru summoned to burn the village became, for a split second, the voice of his conscience that recoils as a result of him going against his core values up until that point? The creature’s eyes are wild with shock and its pupils are dilating and shrinking as if in disbelief. What do you think?

If there’s anything that Geto learned from Toji (aside from the pejorative use of the word 'monkey'), it's the art of dragging out battles with the ‘I-bet-you-want-to-know-why-I’m-doing-this’ monologue that all villains pull. Toji used it on Geto. Then Geto used it on Yuta. It’s the telltale sign of every good villain.
