I was just feeding my dog when I realized 2024 is three weeks away and she's becoming five. That was 2019 and....wait wasn't that yesterday?

Ever got the feeling you want to publish/post something you just finished writing?

Today I got two of those.

Blackout poetry exists on a dual axis from "banal" to "insightful" on the input side and "kind of deep" to "incredibly fucking dumb" on the output side, and while taking something banal and producing something kind of deep is well and fine, for my money taking something insightful and rendering it incredibly fucking dumb is where the real art is.

You know how there are those "draw in your style" games?

Does anyone do that with writing? Just take a few paragraphs from your WIP and have people rewrite it how they would write it. Would be a fun exercise to like show the different ways people write the same things, proving the sentiment that positivity blogs like me scream that all writers have their own unique styles of writing.

Hey! I'm a minor interested in writing.

The problem is, there's no one to review my work. I like to write in the apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic genre and also short somewhat thriller stories.

Hi, I have no idea what I'm doing, so I'll try to start from somewhere.

This is my first time on Tumblr and I know nothing about how it functions but I'm determined to show my stories to the world and gather some opinions. That's why I'm here. I want to know what people think about my work and if it's good and likable.
