Punishment Domain Cleric V1

Clerics who serve gods of the punishment domain see pain and suffering not as act of cruelty but as tools to strengthen the mind, body and soul.  The delight and are even aroused by inflicting and receiving pain - it is the main way they serve their gods.

Level 3: Punishment Domain Spells

Your connection to this divine domain ensures you always have certain spells ready. When you reach a cleric level specified in the punishment domain spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.

Punishment domain spells

3rd level: Crushing pain, Power From Pain, Reprimand, Wrathful Smite

5th level: Fear, Maelstrom of lashes

7th level: Mind Brfeak, Phantasmal killer

9th level: Hold Monster, Steel wind strike

Level 3: Punishing Strikes

Once per turn, when you deal damage to a creature with a spell or weapon attack you can cause that creature to take extra damage equal to their current pain and then cause them to take an extra point of pain.

Additionally you learn the cantrip Whip Strike, this counts as a Cleric spell for you but it does not count towards the amount of cleric cantrips you can learn.

Level 6: Punishing Sensations

When a creature within 30 feet of you gains pleasure you can use your reaction to inflict punishment on that creature.

Instead of gaining pleasure the creature gains an equal amount of pain plus an amount of pain equal to your wisdom modifier. The creature also takes radiant damage equal to 2d6 + the creatures amount of pain after gaining the extra pain.

You can use this reaction an amount of times equal to your wisdom modifier. You regain one use when you finish a short rest and regain all uses when you finish a long rest.

Level 17: Angel of torment

As an action you can expend a use of your channel divinity to unleash divine punishment on the creatures around you.

All creatures of your choice within 30 feet of you must make a dexterity saving throw. On a failed save the creature takes 5d10 radiant damage, gains pain equal to 1d10 + your wisdom modifier and is restrained by shackles for the next minute, on a success the creature still takes half of the radiant damage. While restrained, a creature takes psychic damage equal to its current pain and then gains another point of pain at the start of its turn, at the end of each of the creatures turns it can remake the saving throw to try and escape, ending the condition on a success.

Level 17: Divine Torment

When you cause a creature that you can see within 60 feet of you to exceed its maximum pain, you can cause another creature that you can see within 60 feet to be healed 3d10 hit points and end all conditions on it.

You can use this ability twice, you regain all uses of it when you finish a short or long rest.

Sensory Deprived Origin Sorcerer V1

You are condemned to live in darkness and silence, something that brings most people to the edge of insanity. In your maddened state something in the void you are trapped in touched you with its slimy, probing tentacles, leaving you with a taste of its aberrant power.

Level 3: Sensory Deprivation Spells

When you reach a sorcerer level specified in the sensory deprivation spells table, you there after always have the listed spells prepared.

Sensory Deprivation Spells:

3rd level: Arms of Hadar, Blindness/Deafness, Darkness, Dissonant Whispers

5th level: Bestow Curse, Hunger of Hadar

7th level: Evard's Black Tentacles, Summon Aberration

9th level: Contact Other Plane, Creation

Level 3: Sensory Deprivation

You are deprived of your senses of sight, sound and possibly your senses of taste and smell. This might be through magical means, such as a curse, or it might be through kink gear like a blindfold, noise supressing headphones, or a full hood over your head (possibly even a full gimp suit). You might also be gagged, or magically stripped of your voice.

While you are deprived of your senses you have awareness of your surroundings via magic.

You have blindsight to a range of 60 feet, however you only gain the special benefits of blind sight such as being able to see invisible creatures or seeing through illusions at a range of 10 feet.

You can communicate telepathically with creatures within 60 feet of yourself.

You can also still cast spells without the verbal component

Level 3: Heightened senses

With your other senses cut off your sense of touch has grown more sensitive.

When you gain a pleasure or pain you gain an extra point of that sensation. You also have disadvantage on the saving throw for exceeding your maximum amount of pleasure or pain.

Level 6: Voidborn

You can cast spells without verbal, somatic or material components that don’t have a specified cost or are consumed by the spell.

You also have resistance to psychic damage

Level 14: Aberrant sensations

While your innate sorcery ability is active your body is over taken by sensations of pleasure and pain. At the start of your turn you can choose to gain a point of pleasure or pain (your choice) as tendrils of darkness stimulate your body.

You also do not need to make the saving throw for exceeding your maximum thresh hold for pleasure or pain while your innate sorcery ability is active, however you still cannot gain points of pleasure or pain to go over the maximum. Instead you make the saving throw when the innate sorcery ends, if you fail the saving throw you also take 4d6 force damage as well as the other effects.

Once per turn, when you deal damage to a creature with a sorcerer spell one creature takes extra psychic damage equal to either your pleasure or pain.

Level 18: Maddening Darkness

You know the spell maddening darkness.

You can cast this spell without a spell slot, when you cast it this way it does not require concentration. You can cast the spell this way once per long rest. You can also regain use of this ability by expending 13 sorcery points.

A currency that isn’t gold-standard/having gold be as valuable as tin

Gods that don’t look like people

Domesticated pets that aren’t re-skinned dogs and cats

Some normalized supernatural element that has nothing to do with the plot

Magical communication that isn’t Fantasy Zoom

“Books” that aren’t bound or scrolls

A nonverbal means of communicating, like sign language

A race of people who are obligate carnivores/ vegetarians/ vegans/ pescatarians (not religious, biological imperative)

I’ve done about half of these myself in one WIP or another and a little detail here or there goes a long way in reminding the audience that this isn’t Kansas anymore.

College of Sounding Bard V1

Bards who are part of the college of sounding are adept at penetrating both the minds and genitals of their allies or enemies. Their spells can create the painful senestaions of being sounded without ever touching someone, creating discomfort or difficulty as the try to move.

Level 3: Probing spells

When a creature fails a saving throw against a bard spell you cast you can expend a use of your bardic inspiration to manifest a sound of psychic energy that inserts itself into the creature's genitals.

The creature gains an amount of pain equal to a roll of your bardic inspiration dice. For the next minute the creature must also subtract its total amount of pain from any ability checks and saving throws it makes.

Level 6: Resonant sound

While a creature is under the effect of your probing spells ability, once per turn whenever you deal damage to them the psychic sound vibrates like a tuning fork causing the creature further discomfort. They take extra psychic damage equal to their amount of pain and have disadvantage on the next D20 roll they make on their next turn of combat.

Level 6: Calming intrusion

Outside of combat you can expend a bardic inspiration dice to sound a willing creature. You manifest a sound made of psychic energy, you can insert it into the creatures genitals. After a minute, the creature regains hit points equal to three rolls of your bardic inspiration dice and you can end the charmed or frightened condition if they are suffering from it.

Level 14: Reverberating ecstasy

While a creature is under the effect of your probing spells ability, you can use an action to over whelm the creatures senses. The creature must make a constitution saving throw. On a fail the creature is stunned for the next minute and gains pleasure equal to a roll of your bardic inspiration dice. On the end of the creatures turns they gain more pleasure equal to a roll of your bardic inspiration dice, they may then reroll the constitution savin throw, ending the effect on a success.

If the creature reaches their maximum pleasure they roll the required constitution saving throw with disadvantage. If they fail they also take psychic damage equal to your bard level.

You can use this ability twice, you regain all uses when you finish a long rest.

i see trans men so often feeling as if it is a moral failing that they are men, their heads metaphorically hung low as they apologize profusely for their existence. as if the world would be better off if they had just swallowed their own souls and continued on with the living death of womanhood. i want grab them by their shoulders and shake them.

there is no shame or guilt to be had in being a trans man. it is a beautiful thing to be, and frankly i believe one of the best things a person could be but i may be biased. you are in control of yourself, your perspectives, what you let in, what you seek out, it’s all you, and though it can take time and hard work, you can choose whether or not you actually believe being a man is something you should be ashamed of.

you get to pick how you look at this, you could choose to see the beauty of self creation, of remaking something you were told your whole life wasn’t yours, of the utter divinity of harmless authentic expression. you could also choose to believe all the self loathing and berating and compassionless perspectives but i don’t know why you would, what a waste of life and self.

you don’t have to take in everything everyone says and believe it wholesale, you are a man, find out what you think and stop listening to every person you come across like they hold ultimate truth. as long as you live a life of vowing to do no harm, and making amends when you accidentally do, you have nothing to worry about, listen to your own guts, they know what is best for you. become your wildest dreams of what a man is capable of being, the only creature who can stop you is your own shame.

ideal living situation is what i call the 'sitcom special' : having all your closest friends live in the same apartment building or neighborhood where you each have your own space but can wander in and out of eachothers homes at will, seemingly always welcome and never at bad times. and also all of you only have jobs when its important to the plot.

This whole thing about scanning your face to prove tour age is making me remember, in 2018 while out in paris we got our wallet stolen during a particularly busy night at a lesbian bar. It was very late and with no money to buy metro tickets we were effectively stranded, but some people helped us and we ended up staying the night at a really sweet older man's place. His face was deeply scarred and he was missing an eye. We chatted on our way and he told me about his life, probably to help calm me down. He explained he had been stuck in a house fire 20 years ago and had had multiple rounds of facial reconstruction and a skin graft, but there's only so much surgery can do so he just learned to live with it. I remember he said he liked the queer bars because they're the only place people don't really stare at him.

At some point I took out my phone, and at the time I was using face unlock. This prompted him to tell me all the ways this technology doesn't work on him. How his phone selfie camera doesn't focus right because it's not detecting a face. How he had to update his ID the old fashioned way, because the website kept rejecting his photos. And how it was becoming more and more common, and how it was making his life way harder.

This was 7 years ago, and now whenever I see this sort of technology I think of how that guy can't use it. And how house fires are pretty common, and how anything from being born this way to a skin condition to heavy tattooing can probably cause the same issue. Can these people get age verified ? Will they just lose access to all social media, which are increasingly necessary in society, if this becomes the norm ? These are people who are already driven out of public spaces due to how they look, and they're getting pushed out online too all in the interest of companies wanting more money.
