I know you have your own uses for books, but have you ever thought about learning to read too?

It has come across my mind a few times, but I don’t think it’ll ever happen.

Since I spend the entire day gathering enough food for the chicks and I to eat I wouldn’t have any free time to learn how to read nor would I have time to read for pleasure.

However, I do enjoy listening to others read aloud. It’s soothing. :)

Have your relations with other skeksis changed at all this year?

I believe my relationship with the Prince has improved over the year. It was a bit rocky to start with being roommates, but overall I think we get along well now. :)

During my wanders of the castle I came across a nest that had three Sidetic chicks in it. I was under the impression that the parents had either abandoned the nest or perished because the chicks were very cold and very, very hungry so I adopted them. Their names are Ah, Ugh, and Yuk. :)

[He lifts a corner of the blanket nest to reveal three sleeping chicks. One purple, one pink, and one albino.]
