Reader Has A Child By Their Ex Skellie (Part 3, FINAL)

Skull-- Skull is very much aware of your pregnancy. He was hoping for it, excited about it even. When you finally went into labor, flailing the bloodied and bandaged stumps of your freshly severed arms and legs, Skull was so happy. Your screams were like music to his ears, proving the effort you were giving as you pushed his spawn into the world. Eventually, he finally heard the sound he'd been anticipating: the sweet sounds of a baby crying. He calmly prepared your severed limbs for a later meal, barely glancing at you as you whimpered. Skull finally turned when he heard the distinct thump of his spawn crashing into the floor. Your piercing scream when the baby's cries immediately stopped would make a moral-driven monster feel something akin to guilt. But in Skull's mind? The child's death simply means less work for him to do. He turned and immediately went to where your child met its quick end. His serrated grin widened maliciously as he realized that the child also had flesh, like you. P e r f e c t. They will make the perfect meat sauce for tonight's spaghetti dinner. Sorry, Reader, but you've been forced to bring your child into the worse situation possible. Maybe if you hadn't broken up with him... or better yet, never showed your face to him again, you wouldn't be in this situation. This is y o u r fault! So now, you must take responsibility for your actions... and you and your dead child's situation. Skull hums as he takes the child's corpse and prepares it for his brother. Don't worry, Skull will make sure you're fed too, dear Reader! Besides, you deserve a treat for literally delivering fresh veil to him. And Skull will continue to use your body to deliver him fresh meat until you finally die. Then? He will simply devour your body and move on to the next human~ It's a cruel world, and he has to keep his brother healthy some way, right? Even at the expense of his own children, Skull will make sure his brother is happy. And you, dear Reader? Will simply lay there and take all that Skull has to give. It will be a shame though... Skull has always loved the taste of your blood. It will be a shame when he and his brother finish off your meat...

Bones-- Oh, he absolutely adores how cute his child is. Bones will coo the child as you wail next to him, being cooked alive above a roasting fire. You were stuck like a pig, being turned slowly over a blazing fire. As Bones slowly turns your struggling, post-birth body, he nuzzles into the two of your child's face. Unknowing of its other parent's torturous demise, the baby will quietly coo back into its father's face. You really were perfect, giving him this bundle of joy to care for. Bones will be sure to serve your flesh with extra LOVE for tonight's meal. It is his way of showing respect to the person who blessed him so. Oh, but it will be quite the shame as well. Bones knows he shouldn't become so attached to the child. He knows that once they're your size and nicely plumped up, they will replace you over the fire~ Bones sighs as your screams finally whither off into broken gasps and chokes, before silencing completely. At least Bones' one comfort is that the child will be reunited with you very soon, dear Reader. Oh, darn! Bones meant to ask you what seasonings and sides you'd like to be served with... Well, he'll be sure not to make that mistake next time~!

Smith-- You weren't meant to be anything more than a one night stand. After a long mission that Smith couldn't be bothered to recall, he'd picked you up in a bar. Long story short, the two of you enjoyed a steamy night of passion and Smith was gone before you woke up in the morning. All you had to remember him by was his lingering scent in your sheets and a wad of cash on the nightstand. Imagine Smith (and your) surprise when he ran into you on the street, nearly two years later, carrying a babybones that looked almost exactly like him. When you realized he was there, you nervously told him that he was the father of your child. And well... Smith really couldn't deny that could he? Besides him, there was only one other skeleton in all of monster kind, and his brother was clearly not the right skeleton! Smith does take responsibility for his child, but due to his... affiliation (and enemies), he isn't able to be around as much as he wanted. This could cause issues between he and his child in the future, but Smith has a business and reputation to uphold. Cruel to say, but there are mire important things in his life other than the child. But Smith did go out of his way to set you and the kid up in an apartment. He takes care of all the bills and makes sure his enemies don't catch wind that he has a secret family. He visits when he can, and when he does, all of his attention is on the child. He makes sure to keep his relationship civil with you, being that you are the other parent of his child. Otherwise, you mean very little to him. Smith holds no romantic feelings towards you whatsoever.

Wesson-- Well, this is... awkward. Wes never thought he'd be in this situation. While the two of you weren't in an exclusive relationship, Wes was particularly fond of you. Not enough that he was ready to be a father, but he understands that accidents happen. Wes will step up, but your relationship will turn strained. He wasn't ready to be a father, but he understands what it's like to grow up without parents. He didn't want that for his child. Similar to his brother Smith, Wes will set you up in an apartment and visit you when he can. It is like an awkward supervised visitation between he and his child. He'll be more comfortable being around them when they are older. That way he can just pick them up for a day of fun while also avoiding you...

Desert-- He will immediately fear for you and the child's life. He'll ask you to move into his house. There are guards, protection and safety. No one is stupid enough to attack you at a Mob Boss' house. Especially if that mob boss is also one of the most powerful Boss Monsters. Desert hopes you're fine with never leaving the house again, because that's just what's going to happen. If you refuse or try to keep him from his child, Desert will simply end your life. He may not be around often, but he still loves his child. More than he will ever love you. You were nothing to him two years ago, and he's only putting up with your presence now because of the kid. Watch yourself and know your place, Reader. Desert has no patience for you or your shenanigans.

Eagle-- You were Eagle's favorite hooker. He'd often find you after a particularly rough day, and the two of you would fuck in an alley in the back of his car. The day he'd realized you disappeared, he'd marked it up to a loss. Figuring you had either run from your pimp or was killed by a John, Eagle moved on rather quickly, despite you being his favorite. His attention was quickly diverted when he was introduced to a new hooker. When the two of you finally reunited, he nearly killed you immediately. You ended up finding Eagle in the same alley he'd always take you to. You knocked on his window and scared him so bad, he'd accidentally killed the hooker he was fucking. He was infuriated when he got out the car, only to freeze as he saw you there... holding a babybones that was an exact replica of Eagle as a babybones. Needless to say, after he cleaned up the dead hooker's body, he directed you and his child into the car. The drive to your home was quiet and very, very awkward. After an even more awkward conversation, you (understandably) decided that Eagle would not be a good person to keep in the kid's life. He offered to take care of any bills at the place you're staying, which you happily accepted. You both knew, though, that Eagle had a lot to work on before he'd be able to enter his child's life... and he'll need to start with his... strange efficiency with murder. Unbeknownst to you, that wake up call in the alley gave him just the push he needed. Eagle wants to be in his kid's life, and he'll do whatever you want in order to make that possible.

G-- Oh, he already knew about your pregnancy. That was the reason the two of you broke up. He told you multiple times he didn't want children at the moment and insisted on you getting an abortion. He promised that you two can try again in a few years, when he might be a bit more receptive to the idea. He is frustrated when you refuse. Whether it is because of personal beliefs, religion or believing G would change his mind, you were adamant about keeping your child. When you continued to refuse G and allowed the pregnancy to go on past the maximum limit to preform an abortion, G left you. He feels as if you'd trapped him, and he makes it clear he wants nothing to do with you or the child. He'll go ahead and pay child support, but everything else? That's on you. Stay the hell away from him. He feels as if you betrayed his trust, and to think... Nah, fuck this. He will return the ring he bought tomorrow. Don't expect him to forgive this. G refuses to be a father for a child he never wanted, that he wasn't ready for. And he refuses to marry and SOUL bond with a person that won't take other's feelings into account. You've cracked his SOUL and left him with a financial burden than he didn't ask for. You are a selfish, inconsiderate person and G is done with you. Goodbye, Reader, and good riddance.

Aster-- You haven't been able to get a hold of him since the breakup. You can't tell if he's avoiding you or if you just had bad luck at catching him out and about. Eventually, you manage to run into his brother, G, and tell him the news. When the message is finally relayed, you get a knock at your door a few days later. You go to unlock the door only to have it immediately slammed open, forcing you back. Aster walks in and tells you that you made the biggest mistake of your life. Next thing you know, you found yourself suspended in a vat of some kind as Aster studies the anomaly of human-monster offspring. To your horror, the two of you's child floats, unconscious, in a similar vat next to yours. Aster looks upon the child, not as a father with affection for his offspring, but as a scientist observing an interesting new specimen. You feel FEAR crawl up your spine as you watch your child's unconscious body float. You really should have kept your mouth shut...

Ink-- Error always told Ink that his bullshit would catch up with him one day. He went to visit one of his favorite AUs, the one you were living in. Ink often popped in when he was bored, and you were naive enough to let him do whatever he wanted to you. Such a stupid human. But this time, the joke was on Ink. After spending nearly two years (your time) away, Ink finally was able to return to you. Only to promptly port back to the doodle-sphere when he noticed a rainbow-freckled and multiple-shaped eyelight babybones playing with their toys in front of you. He looked through the portal into your AU, your apartment, and noticed the rainbow child squeal towards where Ink previously stood. Luckily, your back was turned, so when you looked back to see what the child was pointing at, all you saw was Ink's rainbow magic slowly evaporating away. You called his name curiously, and Ink immediately shut down the viewing portal and turned away from it. NOPE! Nope, nope, nope. He's not even going to think about it. Ink is not and will never be father material. You will never see him again, and eventually the babybones will forget about him completely. That's exactly what Ink prefers, and with that, he lets you slip from his mind as he goes in search of his next conquest. But, god, he hopes Error doesn't find out. Ink would never hear the end of it... Yeah, you're on your own. You, dear Reader, will live the rest of your days not knowing whether Ink is alive or dead. Little do you know, he's in the next AU over. Slowly sweet-talking his way into his next victim's bed...

Reader Has A Child By Their Ex-Skellie (Part 2)

Black-- He will use the child as blackmail to keep you under his thumb. Black can't claim ignorance to the child since there are only two skeletons in the Underground and he refuses to put the spotlight on his brother. So, you want a place to stay and financial stability? Oh, you already have that? Wow, what a coincidence that your apartment building burned down and you were mysteriously let go from your job. Now, back to your previous conversation... You will become his mate and his cute, silent and obedient little house-spouse. Otherwise Black will take your child, and make you "disappear." Don't worry, love, he will still raise your child into his perfect heir in either case. Now, what is your answer? Be quick, now. Black is a very busy skeleton with very little patience. Tic. Toc.

Mutt-- He will definitely use the child as a tool to force himself back into your life. Chances are, he didn't want to break up in the first place. Mutt understands he can be a little (extremely) clingy. He also can't argue that he's very insecure and quick to accuse you of things you never did in order to deflect from his own faults. But he is also the father of your child, so you have to take him back, hahaha! Mutt wants it, the baby wants it and you can learn to love him again if he's around you 24/7. It's a win-win in Mutt's book. Your feelings mean nothing to this simping, borderline yandere. Even if you never told him about the child, Mutt would have shown up on your doorstep anyways. He stalked you obsessively after the break up. Mutt may be mentally ill, but he's not stupid. He can put two and two together and figure out that he was the father of your young child. Mutt knows for a fact you haven't been with anyone else since your breakup. He had personally slaughtered every suitor that's caught your eye! Mutt has always had your best interests at heart, you see~?

Wine-- He will be a bit irritated that he wasn't told of the child sooner. Wine will most definitely take the child and dispose of Reader, no questions asked. He can't have the weakness of a spiteful ex tainting his child's mind. Especially so early in their young life. Wine will then become the dream parent of any child, eventually making the child forget that they once had two parents. What more do they need besides a doting father and uncle that spoil them daily? Should you ever come up in conversation, Wine will tell the saddening story of how you died of a sickness very early in your child's life, leaving the baby in the care of their "grieving" father. And why would the child question him? Besides that one itty-bitty lie, Wine was the perfect parent. He would never be suspected of doing something so heinous... Unfortunately for you, dear Reader.

Coffee-- Uh, yeah, he's not too keen at the prospect of fatherhood being dumped on him out of nowhere. Expect another situation similar to Cash, where Coffee ultimately ghosts the two of you. But he will stalk your social medias, and if he sees you trying to talk shit about him, he'll make a point to visit you in the dead of night. You're better off just staying to yourself. It's not like your relationship ended on a good note in the first place. You and your child are better off without Coffee. Just be sure to watch what you say online. Coffee is a very popular online gamer/streamer and his fans are fucking v i c i o u s.

Hit-- Depending on what note the relationship ended, Hit will either ask for the Reader back or simply kill them and take the child into his custody. Either way, the child will have nothing to want or need for ever again. Being the child of a notorious mob boss offers a sense of safety that no other child could dream of. The child will eventually be trained into the perfect heir for Hit's familial business. But outside of work (and the kid's training), Hit will be a very gentle and loving father with a penchant for spoiling his child more than he should. These times will be practically the only instances where Hit's guard is 100% down and he lets himself show emotion. His child is his pride and joy, and they deserve to see the softer side of parenting that Hit never received from his own father.

Don-- Will immediately demand that Reader marries him. There will be no refusing. Even if he must capture you and train you into being his perfect submissive mate. The child will be raised into his familial business and you, dear Reader have no choice in the matter. Any attempts to escape or rat he and his brothers out to the cops will be met with swift and brutal punishment. But no death for you, little mate. Don expects many more children out of you, whether you want them or not. Get used to your place as the mate of the Don, because you will stay with him and birth his children until you die. Don't worry though, he will take care of you. So long as you behave and O B E Y.

Wings-- Immediately kidnaps you. The last thing you remember is nervously twiddling your thumbs as you let Wings hold the two of you's child. The next thing you know, you blacked out. You wake up in a well decorated room with a crib next to your bed. When you try to sit up, you notice your ankle is chained to the bed, and you have a strange (and painful) bite mark along your neck. You look around and notice Wings. He was sitting in the corner on a rocking chair holding the two of your's child, who was fast asleep. He tells you that the two of you will stay here, with him. When you try to protest, Wings threatens your life if you wake the child. You were smart enough to shut up. If this man was effecient enough to kidnap you and your child, you could only imagine the dangers he could pose to you and your child's well being. You will go along with it, being that you have no choice... but that doesn't mean your spirit is broken.

Mars-- He will find himself unable to look away from the child. The child reminded him of himself as a young kid. In fact, they looked almost exactly like Mars when he was a child and... normal. He agrees to be in the child's life, and he dedicates himself to being there for the child as much as he can. He even sets alarms on his phone and writes detailed notes on his calendar to remember special events. The two of you getting back together is optional, but Mars wouldn't mind because then he'd be with his child 24/7! Mars' child inspires him to go back to therapy and try to get better mentally and psychologically. He wants to be better. He wants to DO better. Mars doesn't know what he'd do if he ever accidentally scared or hurt his precious babybones. He will take every measure to protect his child, even if it means listening to a therapist analyze him. He just wants his babybones happy. Mars hasn't felt such love and devotion since he took custody of his beloved brother all those years ago... You have nothing to worry about. Mars will be the very definition of a gentle giant when around your child. You feel in your SOUL that your child is safe with Mars, and that makes you (and Mars) very happy.

Jupiter-- He is absolutely horrified about being a father. Would he accidentally hurt the little babybones? Would he scare it with his... facial issues?? Would the baby even like him??? All of these negative thoughts were immediately washed away when the child cooes up at Jupiter and touches his face with their tiny hands. Tears will immediately well up in Jupiters eyes and he will instantly fall in love. This will end up being a Papyrus situation, Jupiter will be around so often for the child that he will literally make it appear as if he's the primary custodial parent and not you. You might as well just move back in with Jupiter and Mars, because he usually has the two of you's child most of the time. You miss your child dearly, and Mars and Jupiter extend the invitation happily. Jupiter will be ecstatic when you finally agree, the two of you quickly reconnecting and getting back together. He's so happy! The four of you will be the perfect little happy family! Oh, it's all Jupiter ever wanted~

Possible TRIGGER WARNINGS: Murder, Threats of Murder, Deadbeat/Absent Fathers

Reader and their ex Skellie have been broken up for about a year and a half. Eventually, Reader returns and tells Skellie that they were pregnant at the time of their break up and that Reader's young child is theirs. How will the Skellies react?

NOTE: Reader's baby is a skeleton monster with the ability to make themselves look like a human with illusionary magic. They are around 9-10 months old when Reader reaches out to their ex.

Part 2:

Sans-- He's a good, supportive father who pays his child support religiously. When they get older, Sans even goes out of his way to pay for all the extra-curricular activities of the child. He keeps a civil relationship with his ex, but he has brought up the topic of getting back together for the sake of their babybones. They didn't break up on bad terms, and Sans had proven to be a good provider before. Even if the romance isn't there, it's better for the child to grow up in a two parent household anyways. Live-in platonic co-parenting may be a bit weird, but Sans will make it work for his child. At least until they're grown.

Papyrus-- His relationship with the other parent doesn't matter. What does matter is his child's happiness. Papyrus won't care if the two of you get back together. Either way, Papyrus will be a daily figure in his child's life. Taking the child to their doctor's appointments, making sure their baby food is of the highest quality, etc. He'll even go out of his way to buy he and the child matching outfits! The child is very well loved by this lovable skeleton. You have nothing to worry about with Papyrus around.

Blueberry-- He'll be a bit shocked when you tell him about the child, and it will only take one look into their shifting eyelights to confirm that: yes, you're telling him the truth. And also, he almost immediately felt elation at the fact that he was a father now. He would be the most magnificent father you'd ever seen! Eventually, the two of you would get back together and overcome whatever obstacle broke you up in the first place. Blue is an amazing dad and he was happy that you decided to tell him. The best part of his day is spending time with his little family~

Stretch-- Yeahhhh, no. He's going to pretend that you didn't just say that. He wants nothing to do with you, and definitely refuses to step up to being a father. He agrees to send money to keep you from going to the courts, but other than that? He's nowhere to be found. He avoids your side of town like the plague, and any time he sees you in public, he'll port away just so he doesn't have to deal with that look in your eyes. He might come to regret his decision down the line when and if his child decides to hunt him down later in life, but right now? Stretch reeeally can't be bothered. But, hey, you did encourage him to be more careful when having sex, so... positives, am I right?

Red-- He'll ignore you and the child and pretend you don't exist. But he will send you money every time he gets paid to keep you and the court system off his non-existent ass. Otherwise? Leave him the hell alone. Edge is disappointed in the way Red refuses to step up, but Red thinks the kid is better off. He raised his brother from infancy and they barely go a day without being at each other's throats. He'd rather not fuck up another young SOUL with his terrible parenting. But Red does secretly stalk your social medias and downloads pictures of his kid. He loves them, deep down, but would prefer to keep a distance. For the child's sake. But hey, maybe when the kid is 21 (and that's if they don't hate Red's non-existent guts for not being around), Red might invite them out for a drink every once in a while. You know, cut the shit and all that. Heh... he wouldn't blame them if they refused, though...

Edge-- He is very shocked about the fact he has a child, but he does step up. While the two of you never get back together, you have an amazing co-parenting relationship. Edge takes the child on weekends and school breaks. You all come together for holidays and family get togethers at the skeleton house. He is a good father, and eventually, the two of you become close friends. Turns out you were better off as friends in the first place, but Edge will always have a bit of a soft spot for you since you did birth his child. He will definitely kill you if you tell anyone he said this, though! The two of you have a private chat where you not only discuss the wellbeing of your child, but also roast people throughout the day. If god saw your texts, you're both going to hell, but hey. That's what best friends are for, right?

Mal-- You will not make it out of the meeting alive if you tell him. Mal will kill you and your child immediately, not giving either of you a chance to run. His reputation is on the line and he will not be humiliated if and when the Royal Guard finds out Mal created a bastard out of a SOULbond (wedlock). Be smart or be dead. If he was going to be a father, it would be on his terms and his terms alone. In Mal's mind, no one has the right to pop back into his life and force a responsibility (burden) that he wasn't ready for. This will be the last (and most fatal) mistake you will ever make. Mal hopes it was worth it.

Cash-- He honestly doesn't give two shits about you or the kid since the break up. It's not like the two of you have a good history together in the first place. And here you are, trying to dump your bullshit on him again. Cash outright tells you that you and your child could die/dust right now and he'd step over your remains without a second glance back. If you try to hunt him down for child support, he'll kill you both without batting an eyelid. The poster child for "absent father." Cash will let the birth-giver of his child struggle as a single parent and watch them while thinking "damn that sucks. they'll figure it out." At the same time, Cash will be walking down the street with his new partner, destined to leave them with the same fate. If you look up the definition of "deadbeat," in the dictionary, all you will find is a picture of Cash flipping you off. Yeah, you're definitely on your own. Good luck, Reader.

I hope you all liked my first post! I love reading scenarios, one-shots and headcannons of how the Skellies would react to certain situations. Of course I had to chime in with my own versions!
