Chapter 12 is online !

Hello, hello, hello!

Thank you so much for reading this new Chapter Twelve! It's officially a year since the first one!

The next chapter will be a big one! Even longer than Hecate's. I am really proud of it, and I've had ideas for it for years. I'm so happy they are finally coming together! It isn't finished, but it will be for sure by next month. After that, I think I will take a one-month hiatus. I work a lot on this fanfiction, and sometimes it is hard to manage with my day-to-day work, and I'm starting to feel a bit toasted, so probably just a one-month hiatus, and then I'll come back with the final arc of this little novel.

Chapter 11 is online !

Lost in the jungle, the cannibals weren't his only foes. Sometimes, you can be the architect of your own doom, especially when you are the Master.

My god, it's been nearly a year since I started posting on Ao3—time really flew by. I'm still a bit behind schedule with the next chapter. I lost a month of progress, but the two safety chapters that I begin with, were there for that, after all.

Though, I am out of schedule for a good cause: I've spent nearly all my leisure time working on a replica of the Master's jacket. Even though this was my fourth version and I now have pretty good references of the original, it took a lot of time. That damned jacket is so complicated! 

Still, Chapter 12 is ready, and I'm really happy to start working on Chapter 13. I've had some ideas for it for so long, and I really want to put them on paper.

Chapter 10 is online !

Outside of the World-Fish, but not outside of trouble. Where did the Master end, and what was lurking in this pink jungle?

I wrote it listening to the OST of 28 Weeks Later: 'Don's Abandon Alice', the opening song, and it was insane! If you don't know it, go and listen to that track! For the first time in a year, I am completely out of schedule! Chapter 12 is mostly in the void, half in French and half written in English, so in the coming months, I will need a month or two of hiatus. I will try to make a pause in a part without too big a cliffhanger.

I almost forgot to share this drawing, which illustrates the first chapter of my fanfiction and actually comes before it. This drawing is what truly inspired me to write the whole story and bring everything together.

I think this one might be my favorite! I love how the Master and K9 are back to back with the crab mommy emerging from the mist.

I love the details, especially how some of the crabs are so tiny. By the way, I drew this on A5 paper—I forgot to mention that!

By the way, The next chapter of the fanfiction is coming on September 7th!

Chapter 9 is online !

Alone, in a dying world, no trace of the Master. What can the Keeper do?

I really love this one too. Originally, it was supposed to be a chapter without action, where the Keeper climbed the tower without much resistance, but a piece of music really inspired me, and I completely changed the chapter. Else - Paris

Chapter 11 is nearly finished. Chapter 10 is written, so you'll have a new chapter next month, same as always, on the 6 or 7th. Maybe at some point I will take a one-month break, after all, it's been nearly a year since this story started but for now I try to stick with one month one chapter.

Sharing my latest acrylic study! This is a reinterpretation of Nipuni's stunning David Tennant on Gallifrey piece.

As a beginner painter, with only about ten acrylic pieces under my belt, mostly in black and white, I wanted to work from an existing piece to focus on technique and color. Nipuni's art is just so inspiring!

I saw her beautifull art piece about Gallifrey at the same time that I wanted to try acrylic painting again. About a year ago, I decided to embark on this project completely outside my comfort zone, because I wanted to work on a large format (50x70 cm) and in color (I'm more used to ink drawings on A5 paper, as you might see on my Tumblr.), and I started trying to reproduce her artwork. The only thing I wanted to change was the portrait. I love David Tennant, but I'm more of a Master fan, and Roger Delgado, with his very distinctive features, seemed a more approachable subject for my skill level.

I finished this study a few weeks ago and it took nearly a year.

I am so proud and happy with it.

I'm a little late with Chapter 10, but I'm pushing to get it done and have Chapter 11 ready for you all on time. Chapter 9 is written, so you'll have a new chapter next month, same as always on the 7th.

Hecate and her labyrinth are heavily inspired by the game Blasphemous. I love the aesthetics of this video game so much! I couldn't think of anything else!

Chapter 7 is online ! 

In this chapter, the Master seeks the Fates for an answer.  However, as before, things don't go as planned.  This entire journey has been frustrating for him; he prefers things to come easily. Well, fat chance ! He hasn't seen the last of his troubles.

Great news! Chapters 8 (my current favorite) and 9 are written and will be published on March 7th and April 7th, respectively. I think we're about halfway through this little tale about the Master.
