Eating disorders are easy. It’s easy to convince yourself that your body is what is wrong, that once you lose the weight, once you finally become thin, everything will be alright. It’s easy to focus your fears and anxieties on food. It’s easier to starve than it is to admit you’re scared. It’s easier to binge than it is to accept that you’re empty. It’s easier to purge than it is to cope when everything is too much. It’s easier to say “I deserve this” than it is to say “I’m sad and I can’t make it go away”

I gained 😭😭😭
For a while I was feeling better I wasn’t trying to restrict or keep count. I was no longer thinking about the number on the scale, I got preoccupied with work, uni and life. The other day I decided to step on the scale after a few months and I gained like 10 pounds, after seeing this I immediately felt sick.
So from today, I’m going back to sticking to a certain number of calories a day, I’m going to go back to the treadmill and I’m gonna go back to doing my old workouts.
Hopefully I can lose all I’ve gained and more ...
