The Empire's tightened its grip here, and they're looking for anyone who may have harboured the kid. He's gotta be dead now, right? That's the general consensus. No way does some Jedi-turned-scrapper escape from the kinds of soldiers they sent here in the aftermath and -

And it's a big crowd at the bar tonight. Really big. Lots of shouting. Oh, right, fight night at Sorc Tormo's. Lots of bets. A lot of broke people sure to start cursing their luck pretty soon.

Kanan softly places his hand on Ezras sholder to guide him into the correct stance. However, even without sight, he finds that he can tell that his Padawan is in the proper position. Ezras body is relaxed, his Force-signature however feels alert and ready, like a Loth-Cat about to pounce. Kanan can hear the soft whirling of a light saber of to his left and not for the first time he feels immense pride to be Ezras Master.

This isn't attachment, this is preparing you Padawan and grand Padawan for battle.

He is also silently asking the force to protect them.

Listen, sometimes you just need a living, breathing, reminder that your Padawan is okay, that the Empire didn't get him, that he is here with you.
