With NASA announcing their streaming service NASA+ and also announcing it’s going to be free and also ad free, I’d just like to appreciate the lengths they go to make scientific knowledge and exploration as available as they possibly can.

I’ve seen several pieces of fanart depicting spider-verse versions of Owl House characters, especially Luz and Amity (sometimes it’s one or the other, sometimes it’s both). Just out of curiosity, if you were to tackle an Owl House/Spider-Verse AU idea, what would your interpretation be like?

Been thinking about this for a few days to be honest especially because of how many variants of this story are out there.

One thing I don’t think I’ve seen would be placing Luz in a wider marvel universe where the inciting events of the Civil War storyline have already happened and Luz is trying to go on as an unregistered superhero while hiding who she is from her parents and her friends.

Enter Amity who would be taking on the Spider Slayer villain with the Blights taking on the role as the Smythe family brought in to take down Luz and force her to register or be thrown in prison.

I finished Owl House a few days ago and there's one scene that just sticks with me.

Or rather, one frame actually.

Like, this one single frame of Eda's pure unhinged joy because Luz has come full circle of not only being a witch, but being another Eda.

The moment Luz makes the comment about "You know where Magic comes from"

And Eda is just-

The pure joy in the fact that she knows this is the witch she saw when she started training Luz, this is her prodigy, this is her kid.

It's my favorite frame in the entire episode and I've rewatched this fucking finale 4 times now.

Introducing…

Zoey Abelli

Zoey Abelli is a young woman who wears many hats.

She is also the proud owner of the infamous Flying Flapjack. The fastest propeller driven aircraft in the western hemisphere, allowing her to take up bounty hunting work when things at the restaurant are slow.

Now as the streets she once walked alone at night become more and more dangerous in spite of an increasingly militarized police force she finds herself taking on another role: being part of a team of vigilantes known as the Aeronauts.

Something her life experience has made her uniquely qualified for.

The experience she has gained running her family’s restaurant allows her command the respect of a room, striking a fine balance between being understanding and compassionate but firm.

This is the main reason why Oliver and Amelie cede command of the Aeronauts to her in their absence and why the rest of the team follows her without question when it happens, as she can spur the team forward with tough love when they find themselves balking in the face adversity.

Zoey’s time bounty hunting has made her cunning and resourceful under pressure and when combined with her charm and disarming personality, she becomes a deadly opponent to those who are foolish enough draw her ire.

Her mastery of her pyrokinetic powers enables her to produce flame constructs that range from claws, whips, swords, bats and comically large scissors, granting her versatility in battle that few of her teammates can match save for Akira and his shapeshifting.

At the end of the day, Zoey is not out fighting for high ideals like justice or preserving the City of Tomorrow and its values. Her primary concern is being a comforting presence to the people who depend on her.

Her hopes for the future do not involve money or fame, she only wishes for her friends to come home in one piece, finally safe from the man-made horrors of the world.

If that means burning sky pirates, mobsters and goose stepping fascists to ash until that is possible, then so be it.

Introducing…

Oliver Vargas

Oliver can fly anything.

From a luxury ornithopter to an experimental pulse jet interceptor. His flying skills have taken him around the world, having hunted poachers over the grasslands of Kirimara, to tangling with the Imperial Air Arm’s top aces as part of his work with the Republic’s Strategic Intelligence Service, which has left much of his more recent logbook entries censored by black ink.

Vargas spent his formative years wandering through the Republic Navy’s bone yard, familiarizing himself inner workings of the old fighters and bombers he found there.

At night, he read about the adventures of flying aces and air racers traveling to far off places on grand adventures, dreaming of following in their footsteps.

In the years since he left his home, Oliver has seen his share of trouble. Being selfless almost to a fault, he jumps into danger often without thinking to help others. Earning the respect and trust of his friends and allies, as well as their exasperation at his apparent lack of self preservation.

Oliver’s drive to seek out injustice and intolerance has also earned him his fair share of enemies, who are quick to find the tenacity and ferocity within his bleeding heart make him an dangerous opponent to contend with both on the ground and in the air.

His most recent adventure has taken him back to the city of New Cassini after a long absence with Amelie Kiefer in tow.

Together they will begin unravel a sinister plot that will force Oliver to confront his deepest fears and doubts about who he is outside of the cockpit…

Introducing…

Amelie Kiefer

Amelie is a kind, intelligent and optimistic young woman suffering from amnesia after she pulled herself out of a shallow grave to find herself in a world she did not recognize.

The memories that she does still possess are of her upbringing in the Imperial capital city of Gotha and her time in Imperial Military Academy of Sciences and Technology where she became a brilliant scientist and engineer who graduated at the top of her class as well as her complicated relationship with her friend Lisbeth Rosales.

In her journey to regain her lost memories, she will have to learn to temper her boundless optimism for the future while coming to terms with what it means to be someone whose very existence is in defiance of the status quo.

As well confront the mistakes she made in the name of power, influence and technological progress at any cost. Only after grappling with these revelations can she move forward and try to find a way to set things right, untangling the twisted web of lies, betrayal, and grief she finds herself at the center of.

Amelie is meant to represent the wonderful and terrible potential of the 20th century encapsulated in one person.

Where I've Been...

Hello everyone! If you follow me for my fanfic works you've probably been wondering where I've been these past few months. Rest assured I havent forgotten about my WIPs. I do want to get back to them as soon as I can but there is something I have to do and that is to finish my book. For the last ten years I have been working on this idea that has been rattling around in my head for the past ten years. This is story of a pilot and a scientist struggling to find a way to move forward in their lives and find a place to belong in a city called New Cassini; the legenday city of tomorrow.

Amongst the skycrappers, domed conservatories and underwater reef housrs are ther city's four races:

The spiritual and water-breathing Litosans.

The scientifically brilliant and nature-conscious Hysumeans.

The biomechanical wonders and socially progressive Automatons.

The enterprising but prideful humans.

Although the heights of the 20th century have brought great change, the light of progress casts a long shadow. All manner of forces look to undermine purpose, promise and possibility in the city of tomorrow but the city is not defenseless!

The art below (created over the course of a year by the very taleneted and kind incroyabledraws on Instagram!) shows The Aeronauts, a group of superpowered vigilantes who have come together to defend their city from mobsters, sky pirates and more!

Charecter bios will follow in the coming weeks, but I just wanted to share with you all what I've been working on. With graduation from university coming up, I wanted to finally finish this book by year's end so I can edit it in the spring and hopefully start searching for a publisher by the summer.

Can't stop reading about planets and exoplanets.

Nasa has such an amazing site. You can pick a planet and spin it around, check the (solar) star system, ser the other planets in it, look at the moons, and get up close with the star, and even see the whole galaxy and more!

The leaks need to stop! It’s sad to go on YouTube, Twitter, Trumblr and etc just to browsers for a few minutes but you caution because you want to avoid leak picture or video that you see on accident. I know a lot of people not just in TGAMM fandom that can relate to this.

For the leakers:

The leaks hurt the fandoms and honestly I’m going to say this in the most respectful way possible but if your reading this and you have leaked something of your favorite show, moive, and etc, your not really a true fan.

A true fan will wait till the episode is out or movie, that way one we don’t sailor the surprises and two it’s respecting the creators and people involved in the show, movie or etc.

Some of you think leaking a good thing serve to the fandom if you will but it not! Again it hurt those who want to watch the show then get spoiled by a leak image or scene.

I’m not trying to shame or blame anyone I’m just trying to stand for what’s right and for the people who worked on the show like Matt, Bob, Bill and etc. They will appreciate the leaks to stop.

Heh if you do feel bad for leaking don’t worry I forgive you and your not a bad preson. I don’t understand why you leaked those images or videos but I just understand that I know it seem like im putting blame but again I just want to just hold you accountable and informing yiu how this hurt the fandom, how it hurts me.

I don’t know what’s going on in your hurt or pain your going though but it’s going to be okay though Gods love and grace. I hope you understand this situation and have a great day.

Now for those who haven’t leaked anything and agree with what I’m saying good for you honestly but we need to spread the word. Share this to not just here but to all platforms you have! Spread the word that leaks need to stop so we can all just enjoy a show week by week, movie by movie, and etc by etc like the good old days.

Storytelling Moments That Will Stay With Me…

Spoilers for all of Goodbye Volcano High

It is a proven fact that the precense of dinosaurs in any medium automatically makes your story better (dont come at me y'all I dont make the rules I just play by em)

For those not in the know, Goodbye Volcano High is a visual novel game with some rythm action elements. It follows Fang, a non binary muscian in their senior year of high school as they try to make it big with their band: Worm Drama.

Needless to say, things dont exactly go to plan and right from the opening it is very clear where things are going.

We all know what happened to the dinosaurs after all.

Despite knowing how the story ends, Goodbye Volcano High sucked me into its story with a loveable cast of charecters that I would kill to spend more time with after the credits rolled.

I loved them so much I was despratley hoping there was some way that the meteor would miss their planet or that if it did hit, it wouldnt be all that bad, even as the game made it very clear there was no good way this story ends.

None the less, Fang and I carried on, playing some amazing music (that is permantley on loop for me on Spotify) with our friends.

To me Goodbye Volcano High isnt so much about The End as it is about changes.

End times or no, Fang's life was undergoing some massive shifts and they were scary and confusing. They werent sure where they stood with their family, friends and siblings. Even their best friend seemed to be pulling away from them.

So all they could do is cling to their passion for music to have some semblance of stability, all while hoping their art was good enough to make their dream come true.

All this was something that I could easily relate to right now as I come up on finishing college, trying to publish a book I spent the better part of a decade working on and watching my friends move onto diffrent chapters of their lives, chapters that will take them where I cannot follow, for one reason or another.

Hell of place to be in your life, whether you are 18 or 28 *shivers*

The world is a mess, the future seems daunting, and nothing is ceartin.

Yet the show must go on, so its time to face the music with my head held high and see where life takes me while having some fun along the way.

So rock on my faveorite dino pals. I know you'll all be right there with me, jamming out and cheering me on just like I did at Lava Java.

Work in Progress-Make You Mine

Make You Mine is a fic I have been working on for a little while now after I got some stickers of Luz and Amity from the Luminescence Fanzine project which had Luz and Amity in pride ears! Luz sat on a planter near Spaceship Earth, idly swinging her legs as she waited for Amity to return from the bathroom while the rest of the Hexsquad went on ahead to find some snacks as they waited for their chance to ride on the Guardians of the Galaxy roller coaster.

The girl looked up the large geodesic sphere that she had affectionally dubbed ‘the EPCOT ball’ when she was a little and smirked.

“I know everyone says you’re the prettiest girl in school, but I gotta ask.” She began, eyes shifting from side to side to make sure the coast was clear. “Who do you think it is? Like if you couldn’t pick yourself. Not that you ever would, everyone knows you are super down to earth and everything.”

The EPCOT Ball, being a ball, didn’t respond.

“Here I am talking to an inanimate object again. It’s high school all over again. There’s a good reason for this though, I promise.”

Luz sighed.

“I just have to come out and say this, and don’t take it personally please, but I think that the prettiest girl in school is my girlfriend, Amity.”

If the EPCOT Ball somehow had capacity to be offended, it didn’t make this characteristic known in that instance. Allowing Luz to continue.

“She has these beautiful golden eyes, and really soft cotton candy hair. It used to be like mint green which was really cute but I like the cotton candy look better.” She began, her cheeks turning red as she went on.  

“She has all these snazzy outfits and a sense of style that I can’t ever hope of matching.” She explained, a dreamy expression on her face. “She seriously looks drop dead gorgeous in everything. Whether it’s one of my old sweaters or a sundress. Its just like-ah!-how did I get so lucky?!”

“Then there’s the fact that she’s not just pretty, she’s super smart! She helped me figure out a glyph combo for Abomination magic in an afternoon after I had spent weeks trying to do the same. Plus, there’s the fact that she’s as big a nerd as I am. A few weeks ago, I found her jamming out the Japanese opening of Monster Slayer Academia. She liked the song so much she learned to sing it in perfect Japanese a few nights after we binged the newest season!” She gushed as she looked down at her bracelet.

It was made of a mix of metal from her Grom tiara, leather chord, and different colored beads to make a little rainbow pattern. One for each year they had been together, infused with magic so if she ever needed encouragement, she could just tap on one of them and a little illusion Amity would appear and give her some words of love and reassurance.

“Sure she tried to get me dissected when we first met, and our friendship was kinda touch and go for a bit, but now she’s so sweet and kind and caring.” Luz said, running her fingertips along the gold band of the bracelet.

“I love her so much, she’s seriously the most perfect girl in the world, or any world, which is why, I uh-“

Luz reached into her purse and pulled out the little felt box Vee had been hiding for her since the start of the trip

“It’s why I’m gonna to ask her to marry me before we go home.”

The girl’s eyebrows furrowed, and she stopped swinging her legs.

“I just don’t know when I should do it!” She huffed, “everyone says I’m overthinking it and I should ask her when it feels right but this is like, gonna be the biggest moment in our whole relationship so far. If it’s not breathtaking and emotional then-“

Luz paused, pursing her lips.

“I just don’t want to mess this up.” She finished with a sigh, staring at the little box in her hand. In that moment she wasn’t feeling like the most powerful human witch in history, the witch who made peace with The Collector and defeated Emperor Belos by channeling the power of the Titan himself.

Suddenly, she was a fourteen-year-old with massive insecurities and a crush on someone completely out of her league all over again.

The EPCOT Ball, for reasons that it would hope would be obvious by now if it weren’t just a ball and was able to hope, couldn’t warn Luz of Amity’s approach until it was too late.

“Ready to go?” The lavender haired girl asked as she walked over, making her girlfriend jump.

“Am-Amity!” Luz yelped as she shoved the little box back into her purse. “Hey you.”

“Hey.” She said with smile. “Everything ok? It sounded like you were talking to someone.”

“Yeah, I was.” The human replied. “I was talking to my friend the EPCOT Ball. Isn’t she pretty?”

Amity just nodded and admired the ball for a moment, not at all deterred by her girlfriend’s eccentricity.

“Very pretty. Not as pretty as you though.” She replied before tapping Luz on the nose, making her blush.

“Ready to go catch up to the others?” Amity asked as her girlfriend stood up.

“Sure, let’s get a picture first though.” Luz replied, taking out her phone and gesturing for her girlfriend to come closer. Amity nodded and walked over, throwing her arms around Luz as she turned her phone sideways and struggled to get the best angle, her tongue sticking out ever so slightly as she moved her arm around.

“Ok ‘prettiest girls in school’ on three.” Luz said when she was satisfied with the camera angle.

“Ok ok.” Amity said as she playfully rolled her eyes.

“One…two…three! Prettiest girls in school!”

The screen flashed and in no time at all Luz was admiring the photo, quickly making it her new lockscreen.

“Whoa look at us, we look good! That’s a keeper.” She said with a grin before looking over her shoulder at the EPCOT Ball.

“See you later gorgeous.” Luz said, shooting a finger gun at it and winking, making Amity giggle.

The EPCOT Ball, of course, said nothing as it was and had always been since the beginning of this very one-sided conversation, just a ball.

I kept expecting Blitz to suddenly burst through the window holding a bunch of lollies and balloons and that’s why he didn’t reply because he was hauling himself up the side of the hospital…

My TOH OC

So another thing I’ve been working on is my TOH OC. He is a young Jedi named Kuna Vale. He crash landed on the Boiling Isles while fleeing the Empire and has started a new life there. He is shy, quiet, reserved but has a big heart and is  always ready to lend a helping hand. He wears brown leather gloves, a beige long sleeved shirt under a navy blue cloak with the light glyph drawn onto it with white paint. He also has a white shoulder pauldron with blue Jedi Order’s insignia on it. The outfit is completed with blue cargo pants and brown boots.

He has black hair styled in a undercut and he has gold eyes not unlike Amity’s.

I’m trying to build up his backstory so I can eventually write a fic with him in it so if you have any headcannon idea or requests for him, let me know! My requests are open!
