Hello! I am very interested in your save file. Have you finished it yet?

Hey there! The save isn't finished yet .. somehow it keeps getting bigger and bigger and I have a bad habit of wanting to redo old builds.

That being said, I think I'm going to force myself to release a WIP of the save soon. If anyone is interested in doing play tests for me, drop me a pm! I'll have a version ready to send to a few testers by the end of this month xx

The interiors of this save are truly the hardest part. I'm trying to strike a balance between not overdoing the amount of cc (too late), but still trying to make everything feel lived in. One of my biggest gripes with EA builds is that they feel flat and empty. I want the save to have a bit of coziness.

I think some updates are in order!

So.. the save hit some unfortunate bugs over the summer, causing my save (along with all of my motivation) to completely tank. I had zero inspiration which meant builds were taking hours upon hours with little to no progress.

BUT the bugs are gone (hopefully not going to jinx it again this time), the save is clean and I have made some serious progress over the past few weeks.

Whiterun Hold (aka Henford-on-Bagley) is completely done. There's one plot of land that I can do something later with if I want to, but it would be otherwise ready to release.

That being said, this save file is a beast. It's going to be huge when you take into consideration all of the cc, builds, sims, custom naming for the worlds, etc. So, I want to do the release right and include more than just Whiterun Hold.

We're getting closer, but that means there's a few more big lots to go (;

I haven't posted in a few weeks because I've been DEEP in building Whiterun. It's still very much a work in progress, but I'm finally at a point where I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. 64x64 city lots are absolutely no joke. In case anyone is curious about the progress on the save file, here is what has been built so far:

I took a short break from Solitude to work on Anise’s Cabin. It’s still a work in progress, but the world is starting to fill in.

Lakeview Manor

I’ve decided that instead of releasing the Skyrim builds individually, I’m going to aim for a save file. I haven’t found anything that exists yet for a realistic medieval playthrough, so hopefully this project will change that.

The T.O.O.L. mod has been a godsend for helping make the builds feel realistic. I’ve been able to create lush forests around the builds that help it feel more immersive and less like a modern Sims world.

So far, Riverwood and Lakeview Manor are both completed. Next is Solitude, which is the biggest undertaking, but so far so good.
