Goals for this month!
- Learn more French vocabulary
- Learn some Dutch vocabulary
- Memorize Mandarin characters
And the videogames that I will be playing are the same as always. BOTW and ACNH! Both will be used to further my languages. Also, just for fun, I'll be playing Fire Emblem Engage.
The ukulele is going to have to wait for a week or two, but towards the end I'll really give it a good strum! Thinking about changing its strings this summer.
And now, time for tea!

I'm refreshing my French vocabulary, and I realized that I haven't looked up a single word for Christmas. I did not know that Noël is Christmas. It's the middle of April, but I think it's a nice thing to know for the holidays. They're only a couple months away afterall.
Extra vocabulary:
Joyeux Noël- Happy Christmas (Merry Christmas)
Le jour de Noël- Christmas Day
La veille de Noël- Christmas Eve

I play the ukulele to relax, but I haven't figured out what I want to play with it. My favorite genres of music are either rock/metal or electronic music depending on my mood. I hardly listen to relaxing music unless if I really need it. So I'm a bit confused about what kind of music to compose.
If I had stuck with guitar then I would've stuck with rock or metal. If I had learned the piano I would have made some electronic music. But the ukulele? I'm not sure. All I've done is play covers, but I want to make music too. I'm just not sure what kind.
These are just some of my thoughts, and I'll probably figure it out in a couple of months. But until then, I'll keep practicing.

Everything is changing again. I feel like a leaf at the mercy of a gentle breeze that will soon become a storm.
Haha. I felt a little dramatic there.
New language goals:
1. Mandarin
2. Russian
3. French
Ukulele goals remain the same.

Things have changed. A lot.
Let me start of by saying that my goals have changed because of the current state of things. I didn't want them to change, but there is a sense of urgency right now. My language goals have changed, but my ukulele goals stayed the same. In fact, me playing the ukulele every day has become crucial to my mental health.
So... I'm gonna introduce my new goals.
1.) Language goals: Keep practicing French, learn Mandarin (because I have recently gone to 小红书), and then Japanese. Not sure how I'm supposed to do all of this, but I will.
2.) Ukulele practice everyday. As often as I can.
The knitting stuff will happen but for now I'm super busy.

Happy New Year!
I'd like to start this year by lining out my goals for the next 3 months.
Top Priority:
1. Languages: Japanese, Dutch, French, Russian (reading in these languages as much as I possibly can)
2. Ukulele practice everyday (I will not be upset if I miss a day or two. It is not the end of the world).
3. Small knitting project (just a scarf)
I will also be enjoying myself by drawing, and playing a lot of videogames.

I am so excited! I just ordered two new language books to practice my French, and to finally start learning Dutch. It's from the same author that I got my Russian book from. I can't wait to read them.

As per the usual, my hobbies have gotten out of hand. I have way too many languages that I'm learning, and I'm ignoring so many of my other hobbies. So I've decided to pick a few for the week.
Hobbies for this week:
Russian language learning and videogames (stardew valley and acnh)
Ukulele

Estoy buscando para una escuela buena en la área. Quiero especializar en algo artístico o en un lenguaje. Si escojo algo artístico voy a tratar de hacer animaciones. Pero si escojo lenguajes.... pues voy a preguntar cuales tienen.
Phew. I haven't typed in Spanish in a while. Maybe I should take a couple more classes just to feel more comfortable with it. But yeah, I'm looking into colleges and majors. I have to choose between animation and language. I would love to do both, but I have a hard time focusing, so it'll be better if I do the majors one at a time.

I'm very new to this language, but I think it's okay to try to read things above your level if you're okay with a bit of struggle. It gets me used to the language.
This way of learning does not usually work with a language that is the complete opposite of your own. Or at least it hasn't worked for me yet. I'm looking at you Japanese language.

I just spent gems to get Lilia in Twisted Wonderland, and now they reveal JACK SKELLINGTON. Oh my gosh. I'm going to have to grind until I have enough for him.

I went to buy a new language book, and found myself buying a Russian short story book. I have no idea why, but I guess I'm learning Russian on the side now.
