When i saw the topic come up, i had to share my own headcanon of what Error's bones look like underneath though i might make them a bit more red, ill fiddle around with it a bit later :D
Thought a lot about it cause i wanna make a fully posable doll of him eventually like the ones i already made, though sturdyer ball jointed instead of fragile wire jointed like the old ones, poor prototype 2 has already broke an arm and lost a finger D: hands are still wire jointed in new design, but easily removed for easy replacement :D
Big fan of all your skeletons loverofpiggies/crayonqueen :D

I just fell into the fandom and I have a question about Error. I notice a lot of fan art has his spine ribs and pelvis different colors. Did you make any cannon designs for the rest of his bones? Or are you leaving it up to interpretation?
Right now it’s been up to interpretation! I headcanon them as mostly red, but if I were to draw them myself, that might change depending on what design I think works best!

Does using wire allow you to pose them in different ways? Also if you don’t use wire what do you tie the bones together with? I’d really love to make my own bitty.
Sorry it took so long for me to respond, took a long break from social media xD I do use wire, on prototype 3, I used 20gauge copper wire for the main body with 30gauge wrapped around it to help the polymer clay stick to it. The 30gauge was also used in the hands and feet for posable fingers and toes. I might try a hybrid of wire and ball joint in the future, found a way to hollow out the bones by baking them on thin metal rods and sliding them off. Ichitei thought of something similar and I love the results :D If your going to make him to sit/stand on a shelf and pose occasionally, a wire inner skeleton would be easier, though if you want to play and pose a lot, figuring out ball joints with elastic inner skeleton may be a better investment, looks a bit harder, but you won't have to worry about a wire snapping with frequent bending.

wow, everything you do is so cool!! how many time did you need to reach that grade of expertise?
Sorry it took so long to answer, I was taking a long break from social media xDI just did my best each time, making notes on flaws I could fix on the next and thinking on ways I could improve them :DIt's hard to judge how long it took, I get distracted easily and time can slip by so swiftly xD

It is a picture of sans doll made by me. I made this doll for myself. It is just a fan art doll. This doll is not for sale. This doll is made of polyester putty, metal wire, brass pipe and so on. And it can move the whole body with metal wire and ball joint. The face sticks with a magnet. Height: 8 cm (3.1 inch)

Finally finished prototype number 3, at least his body anyway. Still don't know how to use a sewing machine, and more tempted to try out a new method on prototype number 4 then tackle that yet. Good thing it's October, month of the naked skeletons :D

Prototype number three is complete! At least his body is, still don’t know how to use a sewing machine… I’ll get around to it eventually.

Goopy Gaster prototype number one is complete :D As I thought, the slime does not stain the polymer clay, so now I can get more complex.

Welp, I got the hard part done. The torso and pelvis is why I procrastinated, very tricky. Still didn't get it perfect, but it's better than last time. Tried adding string as an experiment, might add clay to bulk it up, or leave as is. One of the neck spikes fell off, but I can glue that back on with liquid clay or super glue. Arms and legs should be easy hopefully. Hands and feet shouldn't be too hard, and I'll be able to replace the hands later if I want. The head is going to be the hardest part.

Eh, was not going to post untill I had something worth posting, but I made his tiny soul hearts today and I couldn't wait. I wonder which soul should belong to which head, I'm thinking the worn but sharp looking one in the middle belongs to underfell Sans. The healthy one on the left will belong to most Sanses. I don't know yet who the near shattered soul on the right should belong to, post Papyrus' death maybe? I wonder if I should make a slash mark on his ribs... The souls are less than a quarter of an inch long and have a hole in the back for the magnets to be glued into because you shouldn't bake magnets. Also a couple pictures of my progress with the wire, it's not much, I've been procrastinating a bit, but if I don't get distracted, his body should be done in a few days. So he'll probably be done in a week or two. I get distracted easily.

I don't have much today, but I thought I'd show the very beginnings of the new prototype number three and his Gaster Blaster flashlight. Was going to finally make Sans' outfit, but the ironing board we thought we had apparently doesn't exist anymore. Going to buy one soon. Untill then I'm working on this guy. The 20 gauge is his main support, the 30 is going in his fingers, toes, and ribs. I plan to be more ambitious with his face and get him some replaceable eyelid magnets. Sternum is going to have a removable inverted heart magnet for his soul. His hands and maybe his feet will be removable with magnets as well. Head should stay on with velcro, hopefully I can get the face perfect this time. At least those are the plans. Probably won't have anything to post until he's finished or the outfit is done. On a side note, thanks for liking my dolls enough to follow me, four female anatomy loving people and one seemingly normal guy. I suppose Sans is a good model for skeleton anatomy, those who like undertail seem to think so. I really should get some clothes on the poor guy, lol.

Decided to highlight the bitty's mouth. Think I did an OK job, but it could be better. Still haven't finished his shorts, they look more like pants right now. Going to get fabric glue and hem them better as well as add the white stripes. I'll properly hem his other clothes before I sew the front and back. On another note, his arm is starting to fall apart. I think I can fix it if I drill into his arm, add more wire, then either glue or add more clay and bake. Think I'll go with the glue. This super thin wire is great for his fingers, not so great for his limbs, lol Also thinking about making detachable parts so I can replace smaller bits that can't be drilled into. Perhaps Velcro in the head and magnets in the wrists? It would be simple to hollow out the head I would imagine, just got to dig out the tinfoil after the head bakes. Would be funny if Sans could literally give someone a hand.

One of the Sans dolls that inspired my own, the hands showed me it was possible to have moving fingers as well. I do not think any other doll I have seen can do that, though I could be mistaken. Fingers are quite small after all.
blue-dragons’s doll is quite adorable, hope my next one is just as good. :D

Kkkk~ So here’s what I have been procrastinating on with regards to posting cus I’m too lazy when it comes to taking photos of my stuff xP  Based on @bittybones-au + @fucken-crybaby~~ as well as this fic ;P http://archiveofourown.org/works/6438337/chapters/14738314
Ehuehue little miniature of Edgy/Cherry ^^ He stands about 5 inches tall and was made with Polymer Clay and a wire armature (fully posable♡♡)  ~ I had to sew/buy most of the clothes but they can all be removed/changed… I swear this little guy was expensive but coupons for Michaels are life savers xP The skateboard is also a Tech Deck and the shoes I got on EBay~ My E-BAE
I might make another one if I can find time.  I seriously just finished working on a mini dollhouse and am really tempted to order some WWII airplane models~ (while studying for finals mind ya) XD

This (and a few other dolls on tumblr) inspired me to make my own doll. The Bittybones AU gave me the idea and this video showed me it was possible.
All of zhamkazhamka’s dolls are very well made, I hope the next one I make is just as good. Tempted to commission a Sans and Papyrus from her, though the ones I make myself offer me a chance to practice my admittedly rusty artistic side.

It’s finally done!

I don't know if it's the eye he lost, or the fact that I've been dragging my feet learning how to sew so I can make his outfit, but I think he's upset with me. Made him some new eyes and started hemming some random doll pants into shorts for him. Also going to sew that ribbon on the sides, then at least he will have his shorts. Have to make the rest from scratch. That sewing machine is still scary...

Surprisingly found a shoe that fits. Little good it does him without the other though. Seems bigger than a Barbie shoe, don't know what kind of Doll it came from. Also decided to post all the clothes that fit him in better lighting, jacket is a little tight though. Think I covered everything of interest for now, time for me to be more productive with my free time and finally learn how to make Doll clothes so Sleepy can have his iconic outfit instead of girl clothes. Might take a while.

No one complained (mainly because no one knows about this blog yet, lol), but I thought it best to delete the post with the tracing in the blueprints and repost just my drawings so there'll be no confusion. I just used them to get a better idea for the right scale and proportions at the desired height of between 4 1/2 and 5 inches. Still overshot that with prototype number two, but I think I can get closer on three. But before I make prototype number three, I think I'll learn to sew Sleepy the Sans bitty some proper clothes. Might take a while, never stitched a thing in my life. Got a bunch of random fabric to practice on and my mom's sewing machine, just need to find space to set it up. I think the pic with Sleepy borrowing Harel's eye is still in another post, but it was just so awesome I had to post it again. Tibia honest I'm surprised they still stick, did not know at the time that you shouldn't bake magnets.
