I DID finally finish that Gnommish Hussar picture I was working on.

I’ve gotta get better at posting on here, I’ve been dead to rights for a hot minute.

This is a concept sketch of a gnommish hussar. I like this idea of gnomish wolf/dog riders styled after the cavalry of the napoleonic wars. Sabres, flintlock pistols and such.

I’ve even written up stats for them if you want your adventurers to fight them.

I’ve gotta do a second, more dynamic drawing of them later

best thing tumblr ever did for me is the term "rotating it in my mind". it's really true that sometimes you think about something real hard but you can't tell what the thoughts are exactly. it's revolutionary stuff, i might even say

Momiji's cute, so I made a pixel sketch of her, just a bit of touching up and I could make fighter/knight Final Fantasy sprites of her.

I mostly make pixel art to play around with the little dudes in my head. you can be lazy and start by just copy-pasting 6 different poses

Made a Pixel Phoenix. I might make this one a standard illustration rather than pixel art. but I do like the result of this
