🌿・Backyard fun! a agere moodboard

My dream kiddie backyard :D I want places to get dirty! Like sand pits, mud kitchens, gardens and maybe a small pond. Parkour tracks i helped built out of wood and trees i can climb. But also spaces to build tents to shelter me on extra sunny days and big swings. I wanna paint and decorate a bunch of stuff to make it pretty too! My own personal playground

Something I try to do a lot is be the person child me needed back then. I try and be this person for my inner child now. I try to show myself the compassion I deserved. I try to protect myself like I should have been protected.

I can’t go back and change the past. But I can be here now and be that person for my inner child now.

I love Matilda because it's a story about a child who sees injustice around her and gets mad about it and questions why things aren't fair, and instead of the ending being that she learns how the world works and that life isn't fair, she catapults one of the adults who abused her out of a building with her mind
