Listening to True Kinda Love while it’s thundering out hits different

As in being hit with a brick rather than emotions. This happens every fucking time i try to listen to this song when it’s thundering.

I don’t even know where the bricks are coming from.

I hate humans sm sometimes, cause i get a lot of messages in my request box saying “my family is suffering in Gaza and if you sent money it’d really help”, but I get it so often it’s starting to feel like a scam. Also the accounts are usually anonymous so I have no way to check the account and see if it’s accurate. On one hand i really wanna help, but on the other ive gotten so many of these anonymous messages that I don’t know if im helping the right people.

To create a scam that circles around the suffering of Palestinians is absolutely insane. Real people are going through that, and you’re trying to make money off it. Shameful.

Okay, so I discovered something when re-reading Journal 3. The page that has the Oracle on it:

When I first read Journal 3, years ago, this didn't mean much. Oh look, it's the girl that saved Ford from Bill's possession by putting a metal plate in his head, hooray! (and some other stuff but anyway she didn't seem super significant at the time).

Well, this time around I recognised her, specifically because of the Book Of Bill AND thisisnotawebsitedotcom. She's Seveneyes! (the scratched out member of Bill's crew in BoB, and a blacked-out photo of her appears on the website when you put in 'seven eyes'.

I'm not sure if this means anything, but it certainly blew my mind!!

Gravity Falls au where instead of Ford saying "Your sister has a magnetic personality, she'll be fine on her own" and "Isn't it suffocating being around her all the time?" he offers to school both Dipper AND Mabel. Like, homie, you were just bragging about how you have 12 PHD's and Dipper's parents would be happy to have him teach their son. If you're able to teach a 12 year old to fight monsters, I think you can take some time to also teach both of them 8th grade english and how to use variables. Not to mention the fact that in the Book of Bill it talks about how Dipper has reoccurring nightmares about an argument he overheard from his parents, and Bill points out how their parents were so quick to send the two of them away from home. (Also I’m almost certain that it’s canon Dipper’s real name is Mason. On the website if you enter Mason into the computer it brings up an entry that Dipper wrote, with some notes from Ford).

ALSO we could’ve seen some moments between Ford and Mabel. Imagine he’s helping her with math because she doesn’t understand something, and he’s able to help by replacing numbers with puppies and stickers or something. I also think she’d like to color code - mostly because she enjoys all the different colors, and Ford likes doing it because it helps him organize. Going back to stickers, I just KNOW Mabel would decorate his lab with them. Stickers, glitter, drawings, all of it.

I would like to clarify: I am not a Ford hater, I love him and his character. I just wish he could’ve responded differently to Dipper wanting to stay with Mabel.
