Is anyone else like this?

I want to get close to people but I don’t let people get close to me because:

1. I have the lowest self esteem on the face of the earth (what if they don’t like the real me)

2. I’m paranoid with trust issues

3. People always seem to leave when they get too close

I stumbled across this post while keeping updated on the carer tag in case anyone new pops up (don’t judge me im lonely)

Idk how long ago this was posted but I feel like this is a confusing topic that needs an answer

Caregiver is a kink term used by couples in cgl and cglre relationships (and yes, cglre technically isn’t a kink. However it exposes minors to kink and promotes it). Using that term suggests a power exchange (because of cgl)

Carer is a term used by chires, and it is a relationship where there is no power exchange. (Think of it as a carer for the disabled) just someone to care for you and to be there for you when you’re smol. A support and comfort system to help with regressing (sometimes, but mostly to care and guide). A parental figure.

I hope this clears things up!

If i make a caregiver blog should the url say carer or caregiver? Ive only ever been in age regressing communities and they have like strict rules so now that im quitting those and branching out i dont know what terms to use :c

oooo that’s a hard question :( i still don’t understand all the terms and rules, so i guess you should just go with whatever you like better until you maybe learn more and decide otherwise??? yeah I’m not in with the discourse so idk :/
