Harry Potter and the Loving Dursleys
This started off with my best friend telling me about all the Harry Potter fics she was reading. And after hearing how horrible some au’s made the Dursleys, I deiced to try and make one where they turn into decent human beings, and Harry is raised by a caring family. Also this is not proof read.
It all started with a knock on the door. A knock that would forever change the lives of the Dursley’s.
The small baby was fast asleep in a crib after being brought in, bundled in a blanket. A note was attached to him. Handwriting that she remembered seeing when she was a child, handwriting that had informed her that unfortunately, she could not attend the same magical school as her sister. She could feel the same rage that she felt back then build back up.
Dear Petunia Evans, I regret to inform you of the passing of your sister Lily Evans and her husband James Potter. They died in a war against a most grievous wizard that would have seen the end of non-magical humans, along with those born of non-magical humans. Due to Ms. Evans and her bravery, and motherly love, the dark lord was defeated. However, she left behind a son, your nephew, Harry James Potter. He is only a year old, about the same age as the child you have.
He will be known in the wizarding world as the boy who lived, as thanks to the spell your sister had placed on him, he was able to defeat the dark lord Voldemort.
Petunia had to pause from reading the letter. She remembered hearing about a horrible wizard from her sister, the very same one that had apparently caused the demise of her sister.
She looked at her husband, Vernon. He had a worried expression on his face, and he quickly pulled his wife into a tight hug. “What does the letter say, darling?” He asked while stroking Petunia’s hair.
“Lily... She...” Petunia sobbed it took her a few beats before she could properly answer. “She has died.” It stung to say that out loud.
Sure. Petunia and Lily had not been on even decent terms, Petunia had grown to very much dislike her sister. But she didn’t want her dead. She had always thought maybe one day.. Maybe one day they would make up and be sisters again.
It was funny how one thought they had all the time in the world, only to discover its fleeting nature.
“I’m sorry to hear that dear.” Vernon tried to soothe his wife, but this wasn’t his strong suit.
Petunia sniffed a bit, wiping her face. She forced herself to continue reading the letter.
The boy needs to be raised away from a world that would celebrate him as a hero, he needs to be raised by family.
The dark lord may one day return, even if others doubt he will. We need to be prepared.
Protection will be placed upon Harry and your family, if you adopt him into your home, and allow him to live there. He must live there until he is Seventeen for the spell to be effective, it can only be done with someone that is of his blood.
Petunia Dursley, née Evans, I Albus Dumbledore, ask you to take Harry James Potter, born on July 31, 1980, into your home and raise him as your own. Care for him, and love him as if he were your own son.
You are the only kin he has left.
Please remember this promise to protect him, and keep him safe.
Sincerely,
Professor Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore, Order of Merlin (First Class), Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Supreme Mugwump of the International Confederation of Wizards, Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot
Petunia read the letter. And then she read it again, and again. She felt a mixture of emotions after reading the letter in its entirety.
She felt sorrow. Anger. How dare this man invade the home she had made for herself and drop off another mouth to feed, without any source of income! How dare her sister go and get herself killed leaving the baby (and her) behind!
Then she felt regret.
And once more she felt anger.
“Petunia dear, what are we going to do about the baby? Should we take him to an orphanage?” Vernon asked, unsure of the situation. He wasn’t too keen on the idea of raising another baby boy after all the one they had was already perfect enough.
Petunia looked at the baby boy that had been dropped on their doorsteps. Dark hair and a lightning-shaped scar. He looked like a younger version of the man Lily had married in the photos she had been sent.
Petunia stared at the sleeping face of the baby, he looked peaceful, unaware of the awful events that had transpired.
“Petunia, what had the letter said about the child?” “We need to keep him. For the protection of him and our family.”
“That no-good sister of yours causing trouble with that magic nonsense and ruining our lives.” He grumbled. “Our peaceful home will be ruined, the neighbors will talk! We’ll struggle to afford two children along with ourselves! Are you sure you want to take him in?” Petunia had thought what he said over. And he was right, the neighbors would gossip, and they would struggle financially. But every time she thought about not keeping her nephew, she remembered the words in the letter. Looking from her husband to the infant, she let out a deep sigh. He was her blood, even if she hadn’t liked her sister, this boy was the child of that sister, and was related to herself, and her son.
“We will find a way, your job pays pretty well still, we’ll just have to make a few cutbacks.. It will be like Dudley got a new little brother, the neighbors will probably think us very generous opening up our home.” She reasoned, watching the expression on her husband change. He seemed to process all this, before finally seeming to accept it.
“He won’t be- I mean there’s a chance he might not be- funny like your sister right?”
“There is a chance he won’t be- but if he is.” Oh, that was a thought, what if she had to deal with magic coming from that boy. That was not something she was ready for, she would quickly find a way to maybe squash out the magic from the boy. “We’ll find a way to stop it when the time comes.” Vernon nodded, seeming to approve of that answer. With all that figured out and decided, the two of them decided to leave the baby asleep in the crib, and turn in for the night.
Although, Petunia couldn’t seem to sleep at all through the night. She had such trouble sleeping, meanwhile her husband had no such trouble, snoring away right beside her.
The woman got up from her bed, and traveled into the living room, seeing the baby was still fast asleep.
She sat in the chair closest to the crib, watching the baby sleep.
“You better not cause a lot of trouble, and you better be good for my son.” She tried to imagine the boy older along with her son, and the idea of two normal boys playing and getting along was a nice thought.
They could go to school together, be the best of friends… It was a nice thought. And finally, with all that, sleep took her.
A/N: Okay, I promise they will get better, but I had to start with them still kind of bad. I swear this isn’t false advertisement. They will get better.
This will also be posted on my AO3.

Now that its been posted, I can share my submission for The Ties That Bind Zine that was hosted by the lovely @destiny-islanders and @novallion
These two went through so much work for this, and I appreciate it very much, you two are truly part of the binding ties of the Kingdom Hearts fandom.
I want to give a great big thanks to @anixara who proof read it this, helped me write it, and listened to me moan and groan. She has been my support system through this, and she is honestly so amazing.
Please, enjoy!
The permanent sunset of Twilight Town filled the streets with a soft glow, especially the two visitors Roxas and Sora. The two were around the town square, just looking around.
“Always looks so nice and calm here,” Sora said as he took in the sights. “Yeah.” Roxas looked around, but the place filled him with a small ache in his chest, he had a dual set of memories inside him, ones he had made from Organization Thirteen, and the ones that had been implanted within him from Diz. He could remember coming around this area for both recons, and to hang out with his fake friends.
“Hey Roxas, are you okay?” Sora was a bit worried by the sad look that was painted on the blonde’s face.
“It's just, Sora, half of my memories are fake, but they still feel real, and it just, It hurts.” Roxas looked at the ground when suddenly he was hugged by the other male. “I know Roxas, and I brought you here hoping to help you make real memories with them.”
The two broke away after a moment, Sora giving Roxas a small smile, patting his nobody on the shoulder. “Trust me, Roxas, they’ll love you.” Roxas stared at Sora, and the brunette just looked so sure of himself, that Roxas couldn’t help but believe him.
“Hey, Sora!” Called out the voice of Hayner, him, Pence, and Olette running towards Sora and Roxas. “Hey, guys!” Sora waved at them, smiling wide, looking at Roxas who was trying to quickly mentally prepare himself for this encounter.
“When did you get here?” Asked Hayner, “Not that long ago.” “Who’s your friend?” Asked Olette, looking at Roxas.
Sora put his arm around Roxas, grinning wide. “This is my brother Roxas.” “Uh, hi.” Roxas gave an awkward wave with a small smile.
“Nice to meet you! I’m Olette, this is Hayner and Pence.” “Hey, have we met before, you look familiar,” Pence said as he rubbed his chin as he looked over Roxas, he couldn’t quite place where he knew him from though.
Roxas blushed a bit, wondering if Pence maybe was remembering his Orginazation days.
“Well we were about to go play some struggle, do you guys want to
join us?” Asked Olette looking from Sora to Roxas.
“I think that sounds like fun! What do you say, Roxas?”
“I don’t know.” Roxas wasn’t sure about all this, it was all moving so fast, and he wasn’t
prepared enough for it.
“Come on, it’ll be fun!” Sora gave Roxas the biggest smile he could muster, causing Roxas
to roll his eyes and let himself be tugged along with the group. "Hey Roxas you ever struggle before?" Hayner asked, looking back at the new guy.
Roxas had to resist mentioning the fact he had won the last championship he partcipated in. Which he remembered was all set up by Diz, and Roxas just wanted to let out a giant yell, because all of this was just becoming too much for him. “Roxas is really good!” Sora grinned, “Best struggler I know!” Roxas let out a snort at that, because Roxas was thinking of the other kind of struggle he had been through. “Well Roxas, how about you and me then?” Roxas wanted to deny the request, but at the same time he couldn’t stop himself from saying, “You’re on.” And thus the group of teens headed for the Sandlot.
They approached the guy who was in charge of the supplies for struggle, but no one quite remembered his name, so they just all called him Mr. Struggle. “Hello Hayner, oh and hello to your new friends.” Mr. Struggle looked at Sora and Roxas, “You boys struggle?” Roxas once more was faced with not mentioning how much he sturggled it was a struggle just not mentioning it.
“I dabbled.” Roxas shrugged a bit, he remembered the simulation of this guy, and the two were rather the same, he was begining to wonder how much time and effort Diz put into researching this town and its residents.
“Well then lets get you and Hayner suited up for a match, and see what you’ve got.” Mr. Sturggle helped the boys get their weapons of choice, the gear they would need, and the balls for the point system. Hayner and Roxas made their way into the middle of the area, facing one another. “You prepared to lose?” Hayner asked as he pointed his bat at Roxas. “I’m prepared, but not for losing.” Roxas smirked a bit, he could feel the familiar sense of friendly rivalry taking over, and he was pretty sure his knowledge of the data Hayner would apply to this one as well.
Hayner ran towards Roxas, swinging his bat. Roxas quickly jumped out of the way, before blocking another attack from Hayner. After a few more attacks, Roxas realized that the real Hayner evolved his fighting, which if thought out logically would make sense. Roxas ran towards Hayner, did a quick reversal, and manged to hit the other male and take some of the points for his own. Now if Roxas could mange to not get hit he could win.
Hayner stretched out his arm looking at Roxas, “I’ll show you.” He said to him, causing Roxas to laugh a bit. “I’ve been waiting for you to.” Hayner charged at Roxas, only for the latter to block him, and swing at him, causing more orbs to litter the ground. Hayner quickly ran to go gather as many back as he could. “No more playing around.” “You always say that to me, but you always seem to play around.” “But we only just met.” Hayner was a bit confused by what Roxas said, they hadn’t met before had they? Then again Roxas did seem familiar. Roxas on the other hand was thrown off his rhythm by that, he couldn’t stop that from slipping out, and before he knew it, Hayner knocked him over with a powerful strike. Blue orbs scattered everywhere. Roxas didn’t stay down long, and was quickly going after Hayner. The two kept at each other until they were both laying on the ground, exhausted, and laughing.
“Not bad, you might almost be as good as me.” “Almost?” Roxas laughed at that, letting out a small sigh, this actually felt normal.
“Hey you guys, not too tired for ice cream are you?” Asked Olette, as her, Pence, and Sora approached the worn out blondes.
“Never too tired.” Hayner hopped to his feet and offered Roxas a hand up, which was gladly accepted by the nobody.
The group made their way to the small ice cream parlor, all going straight for the small freezer that held the assortment of popsicles.
Olette reached in and pulled out five ice creams, handing each one to a different person before grabbing her own. The kids approached the counter, and each chipped in something for their cold treats.
“To the clock tower!” Said Hayner, holding his ice cream up high like a knight’s sword.
The five teens made their way up to the top of the tower and sat down on the ledge in the order of: Pence, Hayner, Olette, Roxas, and Sora. Once placed, the teens quickly got to work on eating the salty sweet ice cream bars. Chatter found its way amongst the group, as they talked about the fight between Roxas and Hayner.
After awhile Pence suddenly snapped his fingers, “Oh I finally remember why I know you! You came around here a few times with that guy with the red hair, you both would wear black coats.” “Oh you mean my friend Axe- Lea. Yeah we visited a few times.”
“You were amazing with the grandstanding! No wonder you’re so good at struggle.” Olette commented.
Roxas chuckled softly, and looked off to the horizon now, and smiled softly as he remember the various times of being on this tower, some with Axel and Xion, others with Hayner, Pence, and Olette.
He remembered one of the times with Axel and Xion, and found himself asking, “You guys ever wonder why the sunsets red?”
“I never thought about it.” Olette said, contemplating the question. “There could be many factors for that, maybe that should be added to the list of wonders for Twilight Town.” Pence joked. “Please, its just because red is part of the color set.” Hayner snorted, rolling his eyes, but the boy still had a smile on his face.
“The reason is,” Roxas chuckled a bit, and contiuned on, “because red travels the furthest.”
Sora bursted out in laughter first, then the others followed suit, “I always thought it was because red was just the coolest color.” “You would think that.” Roxas snorted at the brunettee, both males just laughing at an inside jokes of Sora’s old jumpsuit.
The group stayed on the tower for awhile, extanging stories, Sora and Roxas telling slightly altered ones. Roxas was content now, he made real memories today.

Fictober18 prompt day 2: “People like you have no imagination.”
Category: Fanfiction.
Fandom: Kingdom Hearts (BBS to be more specific)
Pairing: Broship between Lea and Isa, and Ven.
Triggers: Breaking and entering.
A/N: So in this we have Lea and Isa trying to bring Ven into their scheme of sneaking into the castle. Also I want to dedicate this to @anixara because thinking of her inspired me write this. Also please ignore some small 4th wall breaks, I do those in my not so serious writing because it gives me a laugh, I do understand it that isn’t to everyone’s humor. Please enjoy this little drabble, that’s just a small little scene that would probably never happen, but I had some fun writing.
“Okay, so here’s the plan.” Lea said as he showed the two other male’s the map he had drawn up, it looked like a child had drawn it.
“What is that supposed to be?” Asked Isa, pointing a stick looking doodle with a circle.
“That’s a tree Isa. Now then-.” “Is that a random set of lines?” Ven asked, rasing a blonde brow at the map. “That is the steps to the castle.” Lea let out a small frustrated sigh, these guys didn’t understand him. “Okay, so as I was saying. Our plan is going to sneak through this window here.” Lea pointed to a small square on a bigger square on his map. “Oh you have got to be kidding me, you think we’ll get in through a window?” Isa asked as he crossed his arms over his chest. “Yes we’re going through the window, once we get through there, we sneak past the guards.” “That will never work, they’ll catch us in an instant.” “People like you have no imagination!” Lea yelled at his friend.
Ven stood there awkwardly, watching the two argue. “Hey guys.” That didn’t seem to catch their attention. “Guys!” Ven shouted at them, gaining their attention. “We could just find a back door, and then I can get us in.” The blonde said, a mischievous smile forming on his lips. “What, can you pick locks?” Asked Isa. “Something like that.” Ven laughed softly, laughing at what he felt was an inside joke. “Okay, I say we try it out!” Lea grinned, feeling pumped up. “This is not going to end well.” Isa sighed, shaking his head, he grew ever so tired of this babysitting job that he did not get paid enough for.
The group soon made their way to a back door of a castle, when did that get there? Who knows. But Ven was going to take full advantage of it. “So now what Mr.Lockpick?” Isa looked at Ven when they got to the door. Ven stepped back and summoned his keyblade, making the two boys looking at him in wonder. Ven then used it to unlock the door. Was this against what he was taught? Yes. Was this unethical? Probably. Was he going to regret it? Maybe. But was he having a blast at the moment? Definitely.
“How did you do that?” Isa was dumbfounded, what had just happened? “That was so awesome! But how did you do that?” Lea was in awe, when he had fought Ven, it seems like Ven had been holding back. “Uh, that’s a secret. Anyway, lets get going.” Ven was already regretting this, but a small part of him enjoyed doing something he knew would anger the grown ups he had ran away from.
The three made their way through the door, before running right into the two guards, who seemed to be enjoying a nice cup of tea. “Hey, how did you get in here?” One of them asked, setting his tea down and heading for the boys. “RUN!” Lea yelled, and the three boys were running out the door they came through, and they didn’t stop until they got back to the town square. Lea fell on to his butt, panting hard, Isa was leaning against a tree, and Ven was bent over, hands on his knees. “Well that worked out amazingly, good job.” Isa said sarcastically. “Oh be quite Isa, that was a lot of fun an you know it, I’ve already got the whole thing committed to memory.” Lea smiled, laying back on the ground. “Lea, you are so simple.” “Hey you two, please don’t argue again.” Ven chimed in, hoping to stop them from fighting again. “How about we go get some ice cream to cool off?” “Sure.” Isa stood up from the tree, and Lea was jumping back to his feet. “Lets go!” Lea grinned, “I’ll race you!” And the red head was running. “Does he ever run out of energy?” Ven asked, looking at Isa. “Unfortunately not, he’s an ever running gremlin.” Isa then ran after Lea. “Hey wait for me!” Ven was chasing after Isa now.

Fictober18 prompt day 1: “Can you feel this?”
Category: Fanfiction.
Fandom: Final Fantasy XV
Pairing: None really, just some chocobro bonding time.
Triggers: None.
A/N: I saw this list of prompts over at @fictober18 and decided why not? So I took a small personal experience for this little drabble. I hope you enjoy it dear person reading this, is just a little scene that I thought would be fun.
It had been a long day of fighting various monsters, and riding through the streets in the Regalia. But finally, a safe haven had been located, and a camp had been made.
The royal prince, Noctis Lucis Caelum and his three men, Gladiolus Amicitia, Ignis Scientia, and Prompto Argentum, all were busy around the campfire. Ignis was preparing a delectable meal for the boys with the fresh ingredients they had gathered during the day, and Prompto was going through the pictures he had taken during some of the fight, (because of this the others had to use phoenix down on him, but that shot of Gladio hitting a Wyvern with his huge sword made it worth it).
The prince was sitting on the ground by the fire, his shield, Gladio, helping him to get some kinks out. Noctis sat with his legs almost forming the letter “c”, bending forward. “Gladio, I’m not feeling anything.” Noctis sighed, he wanted out of the uncomfortable position. Gladio stood behind him, and started pushing the other male forward, smirking a bit as he heard the yelp that came. “Can you feel this?” Asked the shield, he felt a little bad causing the minor pain to his friend, but at the same time he knew Noctis brought this on himself for not stretching properly. “It hurts Gladio!” Noctis said, raising his voice. The prince wanted to stop and forever ban stretches when he became king. “Don’t be a baby, its because you haven’t been properly stretching.” After a few moments, Noctis was released from the hold. He let out a sigh of relief, waiting for the pain to go away.
“Man Noct, that looked pretty painful.” Prompto said, fighting the urge to take a picture of that moment, but he respected his friend way too much.“Do you want to try it?” Gladio smirked towards the blonde, he would be more than happy to oblige him. “I am so good, I already did my stretches.” Prompto always made sure to always stretch after the first week of this adventure.
“I hope you all worked up an appetite with your stretching, because dinner is ready.” Ignis interjected, getting the plates of food together. “Smell’s good.” Noctis said, getting up from the ground, going towards the cook. Once he was out of that horrible stretch, he did actually feel a little less sore now, though he refused to ever tell Gladio that.“Please enjoy.” Ignis said as he handed a plate to each of them.
And the chocobros ate the delicious food Ignis had made, Noctis kept trying to get out of eating his vegetables, but both Gladio and Ignis lectured him that with how much energy he burned up that day, he needed his greens. So the royal prince, that would soon be king, was acting much like a pouty five year old, making the other men laugh.

Summary: Just a little time spent between two friends at an art exhibit.
A/N: I just wanted to write something with these two, so I did. I hope you enjoy it.
Ann Takamaki couldn't believe the world she had been invited into. Women in elegant gowns, men in tuxedos, sure she had seen this kind of attire in her line of work, but something felt different here.
Maybe it was the art that hung on the walls, maybe it was because she wasn't the center of attention (Not that she minded that). Or it could be the male walking towards her with a small smile on his face.
"Takamaki you made it!" Yusuke said, moving in closer to his friend.
"Yusuke! This is amazing, thank you so much for inviting me." She replied, smiling at him. Ann took a moment to look him over, and man did he look spectacular in that dark blue suit, even his hair was slicked back. Ann felt her face heat up a bit, had he always been this handsome? The answer was yes.
"So, where's your painting?"
"Right this way." He gestured for her to follow him and led her towards his painting. She gasped when she saw it, it was of the group. It was based on a picture they had taken during one of their hang out times.
"Oh my god, Yusuke that's amazing!" She could feel a tear form in her eye. She might not be the most knowledgeable on paintings and how they're supposed to make you feel, but this one. This one filled her with emotions.
"I wanted to capture the most precious thing to me, and that happens to be our group. I hope you don't mind me doing this without asking."
"No, it's amazing." She pulled a handkerchief from her bag, gently dabbing her tears away, to not smear her make up.
"I worked the hardest on you, but even with all that work, this painting fails in comparison to your beauty," Yusuke said as he gently stroked the painting of Ann's face.
Ann blushed at that, she knew he had found her pretty, he said so when they first met. But for some reason, the way he said it now felt different.
"Well, I think what hasn't had justice done is you. Although you look handsome in this painting, I'd say the real thing is even better." She looked at him, giving him a teasing smile at the sight of him blushing now.
The two moved on, taking in the sights of other paintings. Ann watched Yusuke as he looked over each one, he seemed to come up with ideas for the meaning behind the paintings, and would even remark on use of color, symbolism, and other such things. Ann was amazed at his insight, looking at him every time he spoke. She could hear the passion in his voice, and it made her marvel at him. She was seeing him a new light, more than just the odd ball painter, he was truly a man that loved art.
Yusuke glanced at her and blinked a bit, he was wondering why she was staring so intently at him. “Is something the matter? Have I been rambling too much?” He was a bit worried he bored her with his art talk.
“No not all! I’ve just been enjoying listening to you, you really do love art, I envy that passion.” She admitted, her lips moving up in a small smile.
“I truly love art, the colors that an artist uses as representation, the strokes they so carefully use.” He continued as the two explored the museum. Ann was truly surprised how much she could listen to him, she found his reasoning very much enjoyable to hear.
Finally, the night was coming to an end, and Yusuke and Ann went to the train station, both stopping to look at one another.
“I had a great time Yusuke.” Ann said to him, a big grin spreading across her face.
“As did I, your company was very pleasant to have, I do hope we can do this again some time.”
“Yeah, I can’t wait. Well have a safe trip home Yusuke!” The blonde waved to him.
“You as well, Takamaki.”
With that the two went their separate ways, wondering when they next time would get to hang next would be.

Demyx x Reader:
It had all started on your first day of school, you were rushing off to class when you tripped and fell flat on your face. You got on to your knees and shot a glare at the object that had tripped you, said object turned out to be a boy that decided the hallway was a perfect place to take a nap.
Feeling mighty upset over the embarrassing face plant you had done, you decided to give the boy a wake up call.
“Hey mullet brain!” You yelled at him, and he seemed to stir a bit, but went right back into whatever dream he was having. So you pulled out your phone, and turned on the most annoying alarm you had and blasted it in his ear. This earned you a loud scream from the male, and honestly this gave you a weird sense of pride.
He looked around before finding the source of the sound that woke him from his slumber, and he was met with your grinning face.
“That was really mean!” He gave a small, sleepy pout.
“Next time don’t take a nap in the hallway and trip people!” You stood up now, smoothing out your clothes, at least you didn’t get too dirty from your fall.
He stood up and rubbed the back of his neck, sighing lightly. “I’m sorry if I hurt you or something, by the way I’m Demyx.” Demyx smiled at you, and this had you a bit confused at the quick change of demeanor from him.
“I’m Y/N.” You figured it wouldn’t cause any harm to be polite and give him your name, he seemed to think that over before giving another smile.
“Y/N, I like it! I could see it as the name of a song.”
That caused you to blush and raise a brow at him, was this guy for real? You swore he couldn’t be real. “Thank you I guess?” You checked your watch now and realized you were late for class. “I’ve got to get going, I’m late for my class, bye Demyx.” You waved to the strange man and ran to your class.
From that day on you had run into the mullet boy many times, most of those times ended with you coming up with creative ways to wake him from his own creative nap spots. But despite that, the two of you had managed to become good friends.
“So I was wondering if you were free tomorrow, I wanted to play my new song for you.” Demyx smiled as he walked you to your class, you pretended to think about that.
“I don’t know, I’ll have to check my schedule.” You laughed at the pout he gave you, “I’m kidding, I’ll be there, just make sure to have snacks ready.” You loved going to his house because he had the best snacks.
“You got it! I’ll catch you later!” He said once you arrived to your classroom, and then he was running off.
You let out a soft sigh as you watched him, you hated to admit it, but you had fallen for the male. How could you not? He was fun to be around, and the music he played on his sitar always captivated you. You knew you were in deep, and there was no escaping from that hole, but at the same time you couldn’t bring yourself to tell him. There were too many what ifs for you, so staying friends seemed to be the best course of action.
You pulled yourself out of your thoughts and went into your class, taking your seat. You swore you over heard some classmates talking about how you were dating Demyx, part of you wanted to smile, but another wanted to correct them. You chose to just tune it out, choosing to draw in your notebook. Soon your teacher came in and class began.
The bell rang releasing you for the weekend, you stretched and put everything away and headed home for the day.
You stood in front of your closet going through all of your clothes, you wanted to look cute for tomorrow to maybe get Demyx to notice you, though you had a feeling it would be a waste of time, like every time you had done before. You finally settled on a white shirt with a soft blue skirt that you knew showed off your legs.
“Maybe I should just tell him.” You said to yourself as you sat on your bed, looking at some pictures of you and your friend.
The one you were currently looking at was from your last birthday when he took you to Disneyland, that had been the best day of your life.
The next day came, and you had knocked on the door, waiting for an answer. You were met with a bright smile that you swore the sun would be jealous of.
“Y/N! Come on in, I’ve got snacks all ready for you.” He allowed you to enter, and lead you to the living room.
“Its going to just be us, my parents are out today.”
At the mention of it just being the two of you, your heart decided to practice for a marathon.
You sat down on the couch, and felt very awkward now, it had never been just you too, there was always one of his parents there, and now you didn’t know what to do.
Demyx placed a variety of snacks on the table on front of you, and you grabbed some cookies off of one of the plates, just wanting something to keep you from thinking too much.
“So, about this song you wanted to play for me?” You tried to get on track, you were here to listen to him play.
“Oh, yeah. Well I actually rented this movie and was hoping to watch it first, is that okay?”
“Yeah that’s fine.” It was not fine, you weren't sure if you could make it through a movie, but he put it on, and now you had to sit there and hope your heart didn’t give you away.
Thankfully he hadn’t picked a horror movie, but of course he had to pick some romantic comedy about two friends falling in love, just great. You kept glancing at him, and were surprised to find how serious he got as he watched it. Honestly, you found this serious side of him attractive, and blushed a bit before looking away.
The movie ended up with the friends getting together and sharing a kiss, and you swore everything just got more awkward for you.
“Okay, I’ll be right back.” He said and got up leaving the room.
You swore you could hear your heart beat like it was plugged into a stereo, you fisted at your skirt, a little upset he hadn’t noticed your outfit, but you were used to him not noticing.
A few minutes passed before he came into the room carrying his sitar, along with a stool. He set the in stool front of you. He was blushing, and looked a tad bit nervous, this caused you to blink a bit.
Demyx cleared his throat and started strumming at the strings of the sitar, a soft melody playing from it. You close your eyes and moved your head in time with the music.
And then you heard it. You heard the lyrics, and they started off with your name, and a listing of times you two had been together. He sang about the cute way you ate your ice cream, or when you would sing along with songs that you loved.
You were bright red, and on the verge of tears as he continued to sing about the things he liked about you. Before finally he got to the final verse.
“And each day has been a gift from heaven, one I hope never goes away. Now I must ask the question that’s been burning within me, would you my dear Y/N, go out with me?” Demyx stopped strumming and set his sitar down before he looked at you, a blush very visable on his cheeks.
You got up from the couch, and him from the stool. And then you tackled him a big hug, causing him to let out a yell of surprise, but he managed to hold on to you as you both fell.
“I would be so happy to go out with you!” You yelled at him, feeling so happy.
“I’m glad to hear that. Y/N?”
“Yes Demyx?”
“Can I kiss you?” He gave a bashful smile.
“Yes Demyx.” You smiled as he placed a hand gently on the side of your face and pressing a soft kiss to your lips. You quickly returned the kiss, your arms wrapping around his neck.
The kiss was short, but so very sweet.
“I can’t wait to tell everyone we're dating on Monday.” Demyx said, feeling very giddy now.
“Yeah, I can’t wait either.” You said back to him, smiling wide.
"By the way, I forgot to tell you how cute you look today."
You blushed and playfully shoved him at that, "All for you."
This had been a very good Saturday.

The World Needs More Rikai
Laughter filled the air as Kairi picked up a pink shell from the beach. “With this one I have seven, how many do you have Riku?” Asked the red head. The boy she was with, Riku simply chuckled. "I have four.” He smiled at the way the female lit up as she did a little victory dance. “I win! Looks like you’re buying me ice cream!” She reminded him of the bet they had made earlier. “Okay, okay, lets go.” He laughed a bit, walking with the girl. The two got their ice cream, (which Riku paid for) and made their way back the beach. The two sat in silence, watching the ocean waves, and enjoying their ice cream. Kairi held her strawberry ice cream to him, smiling. “Want to try it?” Riku looked at her noticing she had some ice cream on the corner of her mouth, reaching over, he wiped it off, he then licked the ice cream off his thumb. “Mm, very sweet.” The male smirked, he took notice of the girl blushing. “Hey! That was not fair!” She pouted at him, making him laugh, and boy did she love his laugh, she loved it so much she joined in.
Soon the silence came back, but it was a comfortable one. Kairi ended up resting her head on his shoulder, letting out a content sigh as the water lapped against her feet. The two just watched as the sun set, both enjoying the mix of colors. “Riku, I had a good time.” Kairi stated, wishing this moment could last forever. “Me too, it was nice to have a peaceful break from everything.” He didn’t realize how much he had needed this. “We should do it again.” Kairi lifted her head from his shoulder, giving him a soft smile. Riku looked at her, nodding. “We should.” “Great, it’s a date then!” She smirked, because it was the male’s turn to blush this time. The two fell into another bit of laughter, now looking forward to their next “date”.
