[⚡️ROTO-TO-LEAK…⚡️]

[A video is attached. The Rotom spy in the corner of the video feed briefly salutes the viewer as the Interpol logo flashes on the screen. Looks like Neo Snagem is being spied on…]

The video opened in what seemed to be the depths of Neo Snagem HQ. A young, spindly scientist in a pristine lab coat was standing in a steel-plated, hallway. Tudwal adjusted his dark, circular glasses expectantly. His bright orange and red hair was a dead giveaway.

The man’s hands seemed to visibly, violently tremble as he stood. Occasionally they would even jerk involuntarily. The clear result of a tremor of some sort.

A tablet Rotom floated beside him, its eyes empty of any emotion. This was clearly a shadow Pokémon, being used as some kind of pseudo service Pokémon by Tudwal.

He turned his head to the Rotom, moving his hands to his head. He tried to hold his head still as he spoke, attempting to minimize stress.

He spoke with a stutter, and a slight speech impediment.

“H-here she comes. Rotom, the Pokeball.”

The Rotom obediently dispensed a marked, yellow Pokeball into its trainer’s hand. Tudwal shoo’d the Rotom to the side, looking down the hallway expectantly.

Walking down the hallway was the clear form of Victoria Gonzap. She walked with her head held high, the head of her Ariados, Junior, peering over her shoulder held just as high.

She was holding a clear plastic bag full of scuffed Pokeballs of all different colors and quality. On the bag, written over the ‘THANK YOU’ message in sharpie were the words ‘WELCOME BACK’ in Orrish.

She swung the bag idly, only half looking at Tudwal. Victoria made a motion to pass him, but stopped when the scientist put his hand out.

“W-wait— Mist— MISS! Miss Gonzap!” Ve stammered, following her the next few steps before she stopped.

“Mmmn?” She grunted at Tudwal, raising a crinkly eyebrow.

“I uhm—“ he all but froze, fiddling with the Pokeball uncomfortably.

“You’re the kid who kept begging me to come back on Rotomblr.”

“Yes!— NO! I’m not a ch-child. I’m — it’s not important. I have a gift for… For you!” He anxiously held out the Pokeball, his dull, hopeless eyes full of a dark excitement.

“This Yamper is— from a long line of r-racing champions.” Tudwal began to explain.

“Thousands of followers on Chatter, Rotomblr, even Facebook—“ he stopped himself, taking a breath to calm down.

“I wanted to get you a gift that would m-matter, boss. A Pokémon to bathe in a-agony that will inflict as much pain on as many people as possible.” He hissed, a wild twitch to his movements.

Victoria stared at the Pokeball now in her hand. Observing it carefully.

She reached over with her now free hand, ruffling his hair briefly.

“Good job.” She said plainly, carefully putting the ball in her pocket as opposed to in the bag with the rest.

Tudwal grinned wide, watching as she walked away.

Ve silently fist pumped, cackling to vimself.

“She liked it! She really liked it!..”
