1. Alberu Crossman - Yellow Daffodils

- the birth flower of March (estimated time of Alberu's birthday)

- daffodils can symbolize self-reflection, self-awareness, rebirth, growth, renewal, respect

- a single daffodil can represent loneliness, misfortune. Quite fitting if we look at the way Alberu grew up at the palace.

2. Chester - Sunflowers

- why him and not Alberu?

- sunflowers can symbolize loyalty, admiration, adoration, trust, positivity, warmth

- while Alberu wanted to become the Sun itself, Chester had followed him like a sunflower follows the Sun. To him, Alberu was already the sun of the kingdom long before he got the support necessary for it.

3. Tasha - Desert Lilies

- desert lilies can symbolize resilience, adaptability, beauty, purity, grief, strength, perseverance, new beginnings

- as the name suggests, it's a flower found in deserts. Tasha dealt with grief and adapted to her environment.

4. KRS Cale- Red Poppies

- poppies can symbolize remembrance (especially for people who lost their life in war), death, sacrifice, spilled blood, hope for a peaceful future

- poppies' blooms are extremely fragile to the touch, much like Cale's glass plate's easy to break.

5. Choi han - Forget me nots

- forget-me-nots can symbolize remembrance and everlasting devotion

- I think it's especially fitting because during his time at the Forest of Darkness he desperately wanted to remember, remember his full name, his origins, his identity. 'Forget me not.'

The Birth of a Tiny Hero - found family

Collaboration with @small-mew (thank you so much for agreeing to write it with me !) - Little Kim Rok Soo wakes up in the forest of darkness after reading TBOAH, a picture book found in the attic of his orphanage. The fic is about his journey with the other heroes as they are progressing through the novel plot and building a found family.

Post war slacker life - Found family

Centered about the children and the way they are growing after Part 1 once the peace came back on the continent. (Part 2 doesn't exist.)

Winged Cale fic - Found family

Inspired by the beautiful Winged Cale art by @nukudraws (here)

Kim Rok Soo wakes up in TBOAH and discovers the novel forgot to mention a very big detail as he finds a pair of tiny wings on his back. As the story unfolds, he notices them growing nourished by the love and care the others are giving him. Basically a fluffy found family fic with a bit of fix it here and there.

Merry-Go-Round of Life- AlChoiCale

Choi Han's aircraft crashes in the mountains of Roan - an enemy Kingdom - while on a raid. When he wakes up, he meets Alberu - who healed him and happens to live alone in the forest. As Choi Han starts to wonder about Alberu's identity, they receive the visit of Cale, one of the commanders of the Roan army.
