Tomb Quest

In the Divining the Future Livestream (Here is the exact time), Matt Lang talked about a musical they hope to put on in the future.

It is a musical developed by Matt Lang, Eric Kahn Gale, and Clark Baxtresser.

The Logline: After nearly two decades apart a middle-aged gaming group reunites on the eve of their friend’s funeral to complete Tomb Quest, a role-playing campaign they abandoned when high school ended and adulthood pulled them apart.

The Synopsis: In a suburban basement, five middle-aged friends meet on the night of their friend, Ben’s funeral to fulfill his posthumous request: finish Tomb Ques, a role-playing campaign they gave up on after high school graduation. This rag-tag party must dig out their old character sheets and descend once more into the labyrinthine tomb of the Great Necromancer- Terrazod. Monsters and magic will be the least of their obstacles- romantic tensions, bitter grudge, bad role-play, and the fact that nobody quite remembers how to play will all put the journey in peril before the first die has been cast. Our heroes will have to rediscover their characters, reforge their bonds of friendship, and together bring the quest to an end worthy of their fallen friend.
