Since Peter doesn't have a canon birthday, I like to headcanon that it was sometime in late August of 1960. He was born prematurely; he was actually due in early-mid September, which would have put him in the year below the marauders at Hogwarts.

In their school years he would joke about how lucky it was that his mum went into labour a few weeks early, lest the marauders have never come to be at all. His friends would laugh. James would sling an arm around his shoulder, ruffle his hair, and declare that it was fate that brought them their Wormy.

In the end, James was right. It was fate that had brought them together — just not in for the reasons he'd thought.

Years after that fateful night in 1981, rotting in a damp cell in the middle of the North Sea with nothing but the dementors and his own regrets for company, the thought of what could've been would still haunt Sirius.

I've been called "entitled" for trying to say that the amount of incest romanticisation in older fandoms is a problem, and told that "the internet is public" and I should "stay out of public spaces" if I can't handle seeing someone ship something that makes me uncomfortable.

I believe it's more entitled to think that people who call out the REAL LIFE HARM that promoting incest by presenting it in a positive light can cause should just stay off of the internet. But idk maybe that's just me. /s Obviously censorship is bad when it is used to oppress minority voices and enforce anti-lgbt+ stigmas. But saying "hey guys, incest is bad and it isn't ethical to promote incest in stories" ≠ advocating for censorship in fandom spaces!!!
