🃁 - Husk’s a hopeless romantic. Husk’s always had a continuing pattern of falling in love with a close friend, only to find out they’ve lost feelings for him just as he picked up on it - or losing them in some other way. The best example of this is his fiancé of two years when he was alive, who died of su!cide.

🃁 - He’s demiromantic/demisexual, as well as pan.

🃁 - Husk’s dyslexic and deeply ashamed of how much he struggles with reading. The only person he’s really told is Charlie and that was mostly an accident. He (eventually) tells Angel.

🃁 - He enjoys old Jazz — though it’s not really old to him. He also enjoys The Front Bottoms & McCafferty.

🃁 - He worked as line chef in his life and still enjoys cooking.

🃁 - Husk’s an insomniac. He has a long history of staying up way too late or not sleeping at all. Luckily, so is Angel — after “Masquerade” they have been keeping each other company when they both can’t sleep.

OKAY LISTEN

I’ve seen a lot of grimwalker ocs and i’ve noticed a fair amount of them are like 30 and younger

I think it is totally your OC and your choice but I don’t think that really lines up;

“I thought he’d last longer then the others”

Belos is talking about Hunter lasting longer the the other grimwalkers, pretty obviously but the way he phrases this seems like it’s an achievement of some kind.

Hunter is sixteen.

And the way Belos’s says that implies he’s on the older side of the grimwalkers.

Which honestly makes a lot of sense, cuz like… living past sixteen or around that age would be a bigger accomplishment, considering the conditions;

Belos probably has very unrealistic standards for his “better version”. Hunter has a full time job and he probably has for really, really long time. The “betrayal” can probably be as much as failing too much or expressing want to leave Belos or their position in the coven at all. I can probably think of a 100 things that would count as “betrayal” to someone like Belos, especially considering how he sees the grimwalkers as objects are easily replaced.

And the fact he’s constantly putting the grimwalkers in danger. The golden guard is soldier.

They go on missions. They have to kill monsters. They’re left on a mountain in basic training! It seems to be shown they’re made as children or infants they probably have to start stuff like that really early. That’s not easy to survive.

It really makes sense they would die from accident’s in the “work” or be killed before they were an adult, even without Belos’s statement.

It’s also my personal headcanon Belos really wouldn’t want them to be adults. He’s been seen manipulating children throughout the series and it’s probably easy for him. Plus that he’d be their legal guardian and it wouldn’t have to be like a thing to get them back if they left.

Okay, dislike a ship if you want but I think that’s basically just homophobia.

Two teenagers that have awkward enemy to lovers with a lot of blushing and but slowly getting together officially and being a wonderful couple and staying together until they’re in college? Ya’ll eat that ship UP, but the moment it’s gay it’s “cringe”.

AND AGAIN, I do not have a problem with you not shipping a canon couple. But your argument for doing so is that “it’s cringe” almost always just happens with gay people. Even if you just like… didn’t vibe with it that’s fine.

And I think this stuff can definitely happen with het couples too, but it still happens so much more with queer relationships and I HATE it. Especially because like… even if it was hetero, dude they’re teenages? And like.. relationships and crushes are awkward and feel cringe that kind of just what they are like, especially when you’re young. (at least I believe I’m not an adult yet lol)

i’ve known I was queer and practically been out my entire life. I didn’t have the words for it until I was 10 but i knew how I felt I was really open about it.

And honestly nothing can top the feeling of slowing realizing I’ve been in danger my entire life I just couldn’t never comprehend it when I was younger.

Kids literally ran away from me when I was 6. Kids that were the same age told me I was going to hell and wasn’t supposed to exist. I still didn’t know *why*.

Nothing else in my life has the same feeling of realizing KIDS as young as 6 hated me. Knowing people, Knowing ADULTS hate me for living.

And they always have. I just didn’t know that was possible when I was 6.
