Short poem about having merperson kintype.
------------
I wanna go back to the sea,
I wanna go back so much I scream.
Can't stand this form,
Can't stand this new norm.
No matter this body,
No matter these legs,
I'll always belong to the sea.
Only there is where I'm free.

A poem based on my personal experiences as merperson otherkin.
---------------
Longing for the open sea,
The water fills me with glea.
Tired of walking on land,
Patiently waiting by the sand.
This isn't where I want to be,
I want to swim, I want to be free.
But somehow I lost my tail,
Without it I feel so frail.
But being human isn't so bad.
I get to do things that make me glad.
But when I lay down in my bed,
I become a merperson in my head.

A poem I wrote this morning about being agender.
-----------------
In a world of pink and blue,
I am something entirely new.
I am proudly green,
And I'm not scared to be seen.
Some people call me pink,
But I don't care what they think.
When people call me green,
I fully feel seen.
My body does not define me,
I chose who I want to be.
I'm not pink or blue,
I'm green and that's true.

A poem about summer and being at the beach.
---------
Kick sandals off
Sand between my toes
Salt in the air
Breeze drifts everywhere
Water against my feet
Gulls flying above
My shoulders loosen
A breath is taken
Steps made towards the shore
A smile slowly forms
Peace is found
At the beach

A poem I wrote back in 2021 about childhood trauma.
--------------
Deep inside,
Hidden from all,
Lies a heart,
Within a cage.
Within the heart,
Is a child,
Small, alone, and scared.
The child dreams of freedom,
Free from the pain,
Free from the past,
Free from what traps them.
So the child waits,
For the cage to open.
.
.
.
But the cage can’t,
It has no keyhole.

I poem I wrote about my personal experiences with being autistic.
-------------------
All my life, I added colour with every touch.
Red, yellow, blue, no colour was too much.
Everyday was like a dance and a song,
Any negative feeling never lasted long.
What always seemed normal to me,
Was unusual to those around me.
All they see is black and white,
Assuming their way was always right.
Suddenly, I was aware of how I stood out.
All the people filling my head with doubt.
I had to learn how to love being me,
Now, I have never felt so free.

A poem about spring.
--------------------------
Sun rising over the land,
Flowers growing so grand.
Remains of winter melt away,
Leaving behind a new spring day.
Taller will the plants grow,
Towards the sky they’ll go.
New life finds the way,
Within a new spring day.
Longer days bring shorter nights,
Stars glowing with delight.
Moonlight shows the way,
Ending a new spring day.

A poem about people and flowers.
------------
People are flowers.
Uniquely beautiful,
But oh so delicate.
Like a blooming cherry blossom,
Easily blown away by the breeze,
Us too are blown away by death.
But even so,
We shine like the sun above us.
Like flowers,
We are full of hope,
Even when dispair seems stronger.
Flowers bloom when the sun is down,
And so do we.
Life is like a flower,
Uniquely beautiful,
But oh so delicate.

A poem I wrote learning summer
------------
Pastel swirls of a setting sun.
Sweetness melts on my tongue.
A childish laughter fills the air.
A calm breeze drifts everywhere.
Leaving prints in the soft sand.
Cool grass covers the land.
Longer days end shorter nights.
Wonders found under summer's light.

A poem I wrote 2-3 years ago about a ninja
-------------
Deep in the shadows is where I hide.
I watch my target from outside.
In the dead of night,
I’ll strike and take flight,
All while avoiding the light.
My target won’t know I’m there.
My presence will cause quite a scare.
I’ll strike them down without a care.
There’s the smell of death in the air.
My mission’s done,
It looks like I’ve won.
In the shadows, I make my escape.
My victory is taking shape.

A poem I wrote a couple of years ago about my best friend.
--------------------
Under the moon, under the sun, my love for you is never done.
When my life gets cold, and my life gets dark,
You are the fire that lights my heart.
No matter the distance, or where you are,
You will always be my favourite star.
From the day we met, to even now, we will never be truly far.
Throughout the days, throughout the nights,
Throughout the pains, throughout the frights,
You have always been my burning light.
I am only here thanks to you.
In my heart I know that’s true.
So that’s why I have written this just for you.

A short poem about my self discovery.
----------------------
A glimpse into the glass,
Through the mirror and through the past,
Deep inside where secrets last,
I see a person starting back.
I look at you and all I see,
Messy hair and messy dreams,
An injured heart wrapped in Band-Aids,
Sweet and sour like lemonade.

This poem is about how much best friend helped me when I was struggling the most with depression and other personal stuff.
----------------
You helped me get where I am today.
You helped me from going astray.
You turn the night into day.
You make my pain melt away.
I look at you and all I see,
A second chance for you and me.
Together we will set each other free,
Our love will be the key.
Our future seems brighter,
And our hearts feel lighter.
You helped me get where I am today,
My love for you won’t go astray.

This poem is about how each morning is a fresh start.
--------------
Silly little dreams in my head,
While I'm sleeping in my bed.
New worlds start to form,
Different stories taking turn.
Exploring worlds in my mind,
Seeing all that I can find.
Then it all fades to white,
Opening my eyes to a light so bright.
A new day is now here,
Wake up smiling ear to ear,
Wipe the sleepy from my eyes,
A new day filled with surprise.

This poem is about feeling trapped as a child and gaining freedom after moving out.
------------
Longing the open air,
Life behind windows ain’t fair.
Deep within my shame,
Hope forms a flame.
Aiming for the sky,
Fire dries up my cries.
Joining the clouds above,
My pain becomes a dove.
Following the sun’s light,
Further from the night.
No longer filled with fright,
The daylight gives me might.

A poem based on my dream (platonic) date with my best friend.
------------
On the bus is where we ride,
To the tea shop is where we’ll find,
Take my hand, I’ll be your guide,
Open your heart and your mind.
We order bubble tea for two,
A matcha for me, a strawberry for you.
We sit together under the sun,
When we’re together, there’s always fun.
When I’m with you, I feel so glad.
More memories are ours to be had.
My heart melts and warmth returns,
Spending time with you is what I yearn.
On our bubble tea date,
Being with you is always great.
We may be opposites, but we attract,
And that’s simply the fact!

This poem is based on learning to accept myself, especially as a transmasc agender person.
--------------
I wish for a fish,
A magic fish with a wish.
To wish for new form,
A new life, and a new norm.
Switch out parts that feel unknown,
Make me tall, make me grown.
To have a chest that is flat,
To have a stomach that isn't fat.
But fish like that aren't found,
Not in the sea or in the ground.
I must accept my body and soul,
To love myself is my goal.
If I had a magic fish,
Maybe I would wish,
For the ability to love
My body that fits me like a glove.
