Jason Drake

Ok I have one for you that I think is hilarious to think about.

As always expect no cannon here. 

It starts a month or two after Tim Drake, age 9, started to take pictures of Batman and Robin (Still Dick Grayson).  Tim very much wants a sibling, but has not gathered the courage to ask his parents.  

He is out, taking pictures, thinking about how he wants a sibling as his path crosses Jason Todd (six months homeless). Tim takes this as a sign and, over the course of about three weeks, lures Jason home (treating him much like a feral cat). Once Jason is safely in Drake Manor, Tim semi- forcibly (Jason is not against it per say, but is a little confused) adopts him.  

Tim’s hacking is good enough that he is able to get back dated adoption records, a news announcement, Two interviews with Jack and Janet Drake about adopting Jason (credited to a journalist who died a month later in a rogue attack) inserted into all the correct places, and got Jason enrolled in Gotham Academy with Tim (backdated the enrollment records too).  

They live together in Drake manor for four months before Tim’s parents get back. Tim straight up gaslights them. Without even flinching “What do you mean you don’t remember Jason?” and “Of course Jason has been here for years, here’s the interview you did” and “Adopting him was such good optics for the company”

And it works (By the by, Mrs. Mac fully supports Tim’s slow abduction and adoption of Jason and is pleased to lie to the Drake parents about it). 

Within two days Janet Drake is half convinced that Jack tricked her into adopting his illegitimate son.  They go to a gala and, due to elite Gothamite weirdness, no one is willing to admit they had never met the older Drake boy before, Jason playing along seamlessly.  By the time the Drakes leave again, Janet is congratulating herself on convincing Jack to take in his illegitimate child (who has impeccable grades, and apparently inherited her appreciation for literature) to accompany her son. Particularly since Jason was good enough to understand that Tim was the Drake industry heir. 

Jack tends to hyper focus on archaeology and lives in a near constant state of ‘That sounds fake, but I don’t know enough to dispute it’. Loves his family though. Janet accidentally convinces him that Jason must be his, never mind that Janet was his highschool sweetheart and the only person he had ever had sex with.  He is not stupid, but is used to being around his genius wife and son and not understanding how they reach their correct conclusions. So just goes with it. 

Both boys go out to watch/take pictures of/ stalk Batman and Robin.  A few years after Dick becomes Nightwing, Stephanie is adopted by Bruce and becomes Robin. Meanwhile two unknown vigilantes, BlueJay  and Ketu (named for the Hindu Winged Serpent that represent Karmic collections both good and bad) start to operate solely in Crime Alley and seem to make a game of evading the Bats and Birds.  

Jason and Tim Drake take a particular interest in bettering Crime Alley, creating outreach programs and hiring for Drake industries and education programs with their parents' bemused backing (When Jason is 16 and Tim is 14, Tim discovers that several of the board members had been embezzling funds and prove it. The resulting shakeup still leaves Janet and Jack in charge on paper, but their instructions are ‘do whatever Jason and Tim say’)

More niche characters may need to be color-scheme only, while more common characters will have more patterned fabric options available. Cases will have a cotton canvas exterior, soft felt or minky interior, individual pen slots, and an elastic tie to hold them closed. While I have a limit to how many fandoms I can tag, I don’t have a limit to who I will create for! So long as they are a Marvel character, feel free to request them, no matter how niche. How this works: The winning bidder will pick the character they want, and tell me if there’s a specific color or part of their costume they want featured. (E.g, the arc reactor as a color scheme rather than the full Iron Man armor, or the black and gold version of Bucky’s metal arm rather than the iconic silver with the red star.) I will come up with two color/pattern options for the case (or three to five at higher bidding tiers). The bidder will choose their favorite of the options, and I will make it, as well as stocking it with any bonuses unlocked. Shipping: I will ship from the US, and will cover up to $50 shipping. Don’t worry; I’m here to help! For the starting bid, you will gain access to my prompt list until the end of 2025. This is a list I have curated for a literal decade, containing sentences, interactions, and story ideas I heard in public or thought of that sounded like fun fic ideas. You will be welcome to pull whatever you like from that list and change it however you see fit; it’s intended as inspiration, not a rigid framework that must be followed. Some prompts come with pairings I imagined them for, but those can also be discarded or changed as inspiration leads. Work Description: Have you ever wondered what D&D class Hawkeye would be? Wolverine? Spider-Man? Deadpool? “Pfft, I’m obviously a College of Swords Bard.” Go away, Wade. This is my listing, not yours. Anyway. Hi! I’m Sof, and I’ve been a 5th edition D&D dungeon master for five years. Up for auction I am offering the conversion of the Marvel character(s) of your choice into 5th edition Dungeons & Dragons fully-playable character(s). Each character will come on a customized character sheet pdf, editable for adjustments to be made as the character levels up, and include a blank fillable version of the sheet free for your personal use with any character. The starting bid will get you one converted character and character sheet design. At $50, you will get two, at $100 three, and so on up to 10 characters. Please note that this reflects the time it will take me for art and compiling character-appropriate features and traits; I know it’s a lot, but it’s also very time-intensive. At $1000, I will include a Marvel-themed D&D one-shot suitable for three to six players, approximately four hours long. It will be fully playable, with maps, Dungeon Master guide, and player handouts. You will have your choice of settings from movie canon (you select which movie), high fantasy, or modern AU. Pod bids: I will start with up to seven characters for the first $50 and go up by two for each additional $50 for pod bids, but will not make them all custom sheets. I will still make one custom character sheet for every $50. Everyone in the pod bid will have equal access to all listing materials, so it’s okay if more than one of you want the same character! Characters can be either modern or high fantasy in design; if you want the same character both ways, that counts as two characters. Characters can be genderswapped.
