i have a pressure oc whos part orca and also an experiment and now im wondering what sebastians fav marine animal was pre experiments considering her fav was an orca... i wonder if he liked sharks 🤔 or he was one of those funky people who know a LOT of weird niche sea animal facts like my friend (< they keep sending me weird octopi)

he definitely liked sharks.

I don't imagine he was the type to have any major interest in sea life or know enough facts to pass for being a genius. but he'd find certain deep see creatures cool and if you ever asked what his favourites were he'd give an obnoxious little grin and say the kraken or a megalodon.

If markers don't work on his claws, would a bunch of nail polish still work?

logically, yes. but I don't imagine they'd have nail polish down there, much less in a shade of black he'd rather opt towards. maybe he'd find a red used toe mark stuff that they hadn't wanted to lose or wished to keep count of, but otherwise if he isn't going crimson then it'll be sharpies for him. ( they'll still chip off, but that's how it goes.. )

Would a human Sebastian let a tall reader pick him up? Considering he picks up little reader, it feels fair

if you're tall or strong enough, I don't imagine he'd be opposed. he thoroughly enjoys the feelings of having his partner in his arms or pressed against him to keep you up off the ground — and it's an extra bonus win if he gets to feel a little bit smaller and stay pressed against you too. he won't verbally tell you how much he's enjoying it, but he'll weaken himself like a cat being lifted by its scruff and he'll be smiling like an idiot. so, context clues.

I do wonder what if sebastian had time to prepare and defend himself in the courtroom. if he wasn't taken away as quickly as people depict, if there was hours and nights awake trying to find a way to prove his innocence, driving himself crazy with exhaustion knowing he can't present anything to help his case.

pressure has a ridiculous amount of potential for aus like undertale does (in terms of flexible setting + flexible recognizable characters) and im honestly surprised i haven't really seen much in the way of aus beyond anthro aus. but ill change this. slowly.

I do think sebastian eats at his own skin, picking off the flesh that still remained around his claws until it grew over with scales beyond anything he could ever tear off. finding scabbed over wounds and causing more to alleviate the ache for meat and blood without needing to harm anybody else. I do believe in the way he plucks out his own scales in an act of desperation, to lick at his own wound and to taste the blood from where it had entered his skin. thank you.

Is Sebastian still scared of bugs post transformation?

yeah, but he's more passive about it.

in comparison to human sebastian who would pin himself to the corner of a room furthest from the little baby spider he found while rummaging through his clothes, post fish sebastian will feel the lurch of fear inside of him yet still stay completely seated.

it's a supply of food, if he was to find anything but flies down there. I'd imagine he'd forced himself to keep his bile down to munch on whatever protein he craved. sebastian bug eater.

i can't remember if I've posted about a few of these, however I think another headcanon dump is required. misc human and monster headcanons :)

sebastian is severely dyslexic, as well as the fact his handwriting is chicken scratch - it's borderline unintelligable whenever he tries to spell check or type out anything, generally. 'oh fish shell' instead of official because he was told to sound it out as a child.

he adores physical touch, despite the fact he tends to shy away slightly from negative past experiences. he'll flinch once you reach out to cup his cheek but he'll find himself leaning into it as soon as the skin meets.

he was never really good with drawing or painting anything general, though if you told him to draw you a car or a moterbike he'd be able to get it almost picture point accurate on a blueprint. its the ability that lies behind being an engineer.

math and science kid all the way. can do pretty complex equations in his head, but if you ask him about anything historical he'll shrug and hum the familiar 'I dunno' melody under his breath.

bisexual with a preference for men / masculinity. though don't be mistaken at all, he loves and adores his ladies. it's just a minor thing he's coming to accept after years of internalising it! dont clip his angel wings now.

terrified of bugs. the beetles with shiny coats can be cool from afar, but the way he screams whenever any of them get up close make it sound as if it's a little girl on the end of the voice box.

some genres of OCD, a minor germaphobe as a human that always got to him in the worst times. scrubbing his hands over and over to try and get back a clean feeling - until they were red raw and bleeding in areas, and he had to sit and cry about it for an hour. he has to feel even on both sides at all times.

hair puller when he's stressed, bites his nails too. he's so consistantly sore that you can probably run your hands through his hair gentle enough and feel him flinch away at first. he adores the touch anyway, but ouch.

can't deal with environmental heat at all. don't be fooled by the fact he's chilean, if he doesn't have a popsicle and a fan in front of him at all times during the summer he will be melting.

spice tolerance is moderately low, surprisingly. he'll have a glass of milk by him whenever his mama cooks because as much as he adores her food, the chili gets to him a little sometimes.

hates to wash his hair as post transformation because of the way they'd shove his head under water to breathe with gills. the feeling of dipping his head down into the fluid makes him feel so sick with anxiety he'll regularly put it off and bare with the greasy feeling. terrified to lose control again.

was amazing at tetris and rubix cubes, those genres of puzzle games he was exceptionally good for and could solve or continue on for hours at a time.
