Fizban's Tale

The movie is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE.  The animation sucks, they butchered the story, it’s just...bad.  If you want to roast a movie over drinks with your friends, maybe give it a watch...otherwise, the only thing I can recommend is the soundtrack.  Some of it is really good!  I especially like this one.

Would you ever write a fic centred around a character from TSC canon who wasn't TF? E.g. Sandman, Jack, MomNat, etc.? (Adore your fics and your characterisation of TF/Roy, btw! And Alpha, too! You're super talented ☺️)

I would if I had a good idea and the time to write it! I wouldn't rule it out for the future, but I'd like to finish A Strange Bond and It's A Boy first, and I don't know how long that will take.

If I did write a fic with another character, I might actually have Sandman take center stage and have the antagonist/villain have something to do with dreams. But I don't know, that's probably been done before.

Snow Day~

The roads are NASTY, so I called out from work. Gonna make some soup, have a grilled cheese, and get caught up on (ugh) housework. Seriously, where does all this dust come from???

First snow!

It hit when I was at work, and they let us out a half hour early because the roads were so bad. After skidding and sliding all over the place and nearly hitting a telephone pole (and the few other people on the road were doing about the same) I spent the night at my dad's.

I think after a few years of getting hardly anything, everyone got a bit complacent, and the plows and salt trucks kinda dropped the ball last night.

I think next time we're supposed to get this much snow, I'll just call out.

Headcanon...

Roy/TF really isn't half-bad with a yo-yo, and is a casual fan of the Smothers Brothers. He's mastered about two thirds of the tricks Tom Smothers performed on the show, but stopped practicing indoors when he accidentally broke a lamp and is too worried about being spotted by someone to practice outdoors.

Or, at least, he is until he trips and drops a moving box, scattering its contents, and Alpha spots the yo-yo after helping him up. She comments that it needs a new string, runs off to get some kitchen twine, and they end up nerding out with the thing for a good three hours.
