If I was in a fanfiction and started coughing up flowers while working at a flower shop (because this is a flower shop au) I would NOT connect my crush on the tattoo artist next door to the flower cough situation. I would freak the fuck out and think the pollen at work was doing some Last of Us shit to me, quit my job and move FAR away. inadvertently my flame for the tattoo artist would fade with distance, solving my hanahaki situation and proving my 'the flowers were trying to turn me into a plant zombie' theory

Been seeing a lot of posts on here since the TTYD remake came out about how Mario accepts Vivian, not because he knows what trans means but because he just is a good guy.
All I’m saying is that in this era Mario is the new Jesus we need, without all the religious drama.
Mario accepts all who have a good heart and gives those who have wronged him second chances.
They are both from the Mediterranean region. And they are both depicted as white!
When Mario collects the mini mushroom, he gains the ability to walk on water. This is in fact a subtle reference to the time Jesus did a similar thing.
They are both circumcised. (Trust me on this one).
They both work trade jobs. Mario is a plumber, while Jesus was a carpenter.
In Super Paper Mario, Mario dies and goes to hell, and proceeds to rise again, as well as go to heaven.
