You ever sit there doing something with your hands, listening to a podcast or audiobook or something, and suddenly realise that's your natural state to be. This is what you're supposed to be doing, crafting something nice while listening to another human's speech and thoughts. How people have done this for as long as there's been people, from crafting arrow heads from rocks while listening to grandma tell the tale of the mammoth hunt, to having a friend read aloud from a book while you're all fixing horse reins and doing needlework, to you sitting there doing whatever you're doing, with youtube open on the background.

nano november
11/01/21, 12:10am
so i guess it's officially nano month! this accounatability calendar i put up last week worked cause its only 10 mins in and it did indeed intimidate me into thinking about nano before bed. i definetly know how to get into my own head!
im not really a night-worker so it's not ~offically~ the start for me yet, but happy nano to everyone who started tonight! good luck, and happy 1st of 30 days to everyone out there!

writing shit down
i've recently realized that if i write my reminders on my inner wrist instead of the back of my hand, they dont wash off so soon. seriously lifechanging. im not even being that sarcastic.
also, in materialistic news, this new pen is amazing (Uniball Signo 0.5mm, black) and i just got an A5 faux leather travelers notebook from etsy that i LOVE!
