Some of my favourite pages in Neverlanders were the ones where we got to introduce and show off our characters new magical suits. This is Gracie, who can do anything a lizard can do and just kinda steals every scene she is in. She’s a lot of fun to draw and I always wonder how she would look drawn by some of you talented people out there… @tomtaylormade and I just got some news telling us how many copies of our book sold in that first month, and I can say we are kinda blown away. Very cool to see the book that @tomtaylormade and I released recently, Neverlanders, is in the latest @scholastic_au book club news! Was happy to see it in person when my son brought the paper home with him. Hope this means way more kids getting their hands on the graphic novel. Even though we are in the ‘teen reads’ section, I have heard from many, many 8 and 9+ year olds that this book is cool as $H!+! Just finished watching Andor season 1 and it reminded me of this Rogue One commish I did a little while back. Would love to hear what you guys thought of the show. I felt like it started quite slow, but once you get used to the pace, you feel how incredibly well written and acted the show is. We’re really taking the time to develop these characters and the world they are in. We get to see how and why the empire comes to be feared and the birth of the rebels. Can’t wait to see how all this plays out in season 2 and then tie in with Rogue One which I am happy to say is my favourite Star Wars movie… well, maybe after empire strikes back. Anyway, haven’t been around much cause work and school holidays are keeping me super busy at the moment, but I’m almost finished with that top secret DC comics project I’ve hinted at. Bought myself a little birthday present this year and it only just arrived. This is a VAUGHN BODĒ original prelim sketch. The full piece has all 3 panels from this strip. It’s easily one of the coolest things I own, and I love it. Also found a copy of cheech wizard recently. Such an incredible, unique voice from an artist that was not afraid to just do his own damn thing. Trying out this Hive thing! I don’t want to complain, but I have found IG to be more and more frustrating in recent times. Just a fraction of reach and engagement given the following I have and compared to what I used to get here, which just means that people who want to see my work are missing a lot of the stuff I’m sharing.
