Nature is ridiculous. "Shit uhh I have to conserve both energy and momentum but I fused these two massive objects and gained a bunch of energy what do I do?? Oh wait jk I'll just spontaneously generate particles. Because those are entirely mutable for some fucking reason"

She was our antithesis. Where WoL succeeded as an adventurer. She tried as an adventurer and fail, where we seemed to find support, she was shunned by her group and blamed for their mistakes, the only one who she felt supported her was Avere but even he was abrasive with her. When it all falls apart, she approaches us and aspires to be like us. But quickly crumbles and goes mad. She tries to resurrect Avere in her black wedding and is overjoyed when we arrived. Wanting to use us as a catalyst to officially bring him back into being. And thus make everything right in the world. And then rather than being let rest at the bottom of Tam-Tara Deepcroft. She is manifested once more and made to raise 85% of the undead we find in the Palace of the Dead. Much as we become the piece to save the world. She becomes part of a necromancer's greater plan that begins to falter when she is put to rest. The road to her hell was paved with good intentions. But under a more hostile environment we may of become like Edda. It is only through the positive fellows we find ourselves amongst, do we become the Endwalker. And it is these choices that keeps Azem separate from becoming like Emet-Selch or Ardbert or Zenos or G'raha.
So yeah, Edda. Best ARR Villain for being our first shadow. Plus one of the most interesting villains to sit in a side quest dungeon and Deep Dungeon series.

Me, at seemingly random intervals apparently: This is how my OCs can still lose
The king, every time he talks to my players: "I need you to kill someone for me."
My players: "sure but why did you let this person work for you just to have them executed for their inevitable betrayal?"
The king: "You have to keep your friends close and your enemies closer."
My players: *take no note of the fact that they are the only people aside from the royal spokesperson and other monarchs allowed direct access to the throne room*
Guys they think he doesn't suspect anything as they plan regicide. What do I do besides ambush them

Having to fight Rikky and maybe Kaz and maybe also Iyo and/or Eshrie is their punishment for abandoning Kaz's sidequest
You didn't help the boy and now the state's locking him away unless his friends can stop you from killing the king.
Why? Oh, because Rikky thought spying on you'd be easy cash, so they're holding his soulcage hostage :)

NPC from another nation who the party has been helping: "So, hypothetically, if I were to do this thing, how do you think that would go over, politically? Meaning, what would your king think of --"
The entire party, in unison: "Oh, he is NOT my king."

This pseudo-deity ghost king has no stat block but I'm going to have to build him one so he and the party can attempt to kill each other >_>
Meanwhile no one bothered to dignify rikky with a combat.
The injustice.

Apparently my husband's GOG glitched out and re- downloaded cyberpunk2077 enough times to use up 1.5TB of data so that's going to be a fun bill :c
I thought the bugs with this game couldn't get worse
