Review of "At Risk Kids!"

Hi. I thought it was about time that some praised the way fic writers wrote fics, so I'm going to do a series of Fic reviews the way people do to "Real Books". I hope everyone enjoys me praising the author while holding a middle finger to the "Fan-fiction are not real books!" People.

To the Author: @ginger-bread-cow I hope you enjoy this!!

My review of "At Risk kids!":

gingerbreadcow; An author on Archive of Our Own who does not get paid to write.

An author who does not get paid to write and yet writes a world so colourful and original, I'm still not 100% sure if I daydreamed it.

And with writing so easy to read and understand, it feels like you're gliding on water, not even mentioning their original characters that feels like their in the actual anime.

"At Risk Kids!" is a one in a million fan-fiction with realism that explains the discrimination that occurs in the canon universe.

In a way; this world reminds me of watercolour, a vibrant yet realistic portrait of a fictional world.

All in all, not only is the plot original, and the writing beautifully written; but it's the way the author writes it like it's a watercolour made into a slice of life story that has me adoring the story.

Every now and then I think about the fact the we were robbed of big brother Touya teaching Shoto to be a god damn menace.

Like yeah I love deadpan doesn't know good social interaction when it's actively hitting him in the face Shoto but I would kill and die for who Shoto could've been if he got to be raised with 'come dance with your son in hell' lemme just fall out of this window instead of using the stairs drama king Touya.

Touya teaches him to lie, cheat and gaslight his way out of every situation, even if he doesn't have to because chaos makes the world go round.

And oooh does Endeavor ( a healthy not piece of shit abusive dad version of him) hate it, because Touyas word is law and anything he does, Shoto does.

Touya comes out as gay over dinner one day by popping a glitter bomb, 6yr old shoto sitting next to him starts throwing the glitter and confetti in the air giggling "me too! Me too!"

Touya dresses in only black, dyes his hair and starts getting piercings, Shoto doesn't stop crying until they agree that he can get studs in his ear.

Endeavor tires to give Touya some kind of hero advice while in the field, "shove it old man, I can do it." A few years later when shotos interning and makes a mistake " Ugh stop it dad, Touya already told me that."

I just !!!!! The sass they could produce???
