Just thought of andrew minyard as a drag queen and my knees buckled. Tight little black dress that still shows off his shoulders and biceps, hot curled blond wig around his shoulders, painted red mouth wrapped around a cigarette. He would ruin lives

That nonsexual intimacy of just being in each other's spaces, of gravitating towards each other, always subconsciously reaching out to each other. Finding comfort and satisfaction in being close to each other, breathing each other in, existing together.

from the moment neil decided running his mouth was more satisfactory than surviving kevin didn't get a second of rest, not when he had neil going about "kevin and I talk about your intricate and endless daddy issues all the time" and "kevin it's time we fuck riko up for good", closeup to kevin dodging knives and bullets while screaming "WE??? who's we?!?"

I love love love the idea that Kaitlyn is also a ginger with blue eyes who is about 3 inches taller than aaron and aaron and Andrew never really realise until one day Nicky (without thinking) goes “hey have you guys ever noticed how aaron and Andrew have the same type” when Neil and Kaitlyn are standing close to each other
Cue the foxes all losing it and Aaron and Andrew looking at each other with a disgust and a glare
#yess one of my fav headcanons#redhead Katelyn for the win#twinyards#andreil#aaron minyard#andrew minyard#neil josten

neil choosing andrew over exy with no hesitation will always be my favorite thing like exy is everything to neil and what kept him going for so long so the foxes all think that of course neil would choose exy over andrew but when neil is asked about it he is so floored and shocked by it because he can’t imagine any reality where he would choose anything over andrew, even exy.

I think that Mary hated that she loved him. She saw those feelings (and affection in general) as a weakness and despised that she couldn't extinguish them in herself. Her abuse towards Neil is a reflection of that. An example for it is how she beat him up the first time he kissed/showed interest in a girl. She projected her fear of feeling onto him. The possibility of affection and or care was a danger in and of itself and therefore every source was handeld. In some twisted fucked up way she believed she was doing him a favor, prepping him for survival. And still she was better than Nathan.
Once upon a time, as I was blabbering about AFTG to my little sister (as we all are want to do), she asked me a question.
I’ve thought about this question for weeks now, and I think I’m finally able to answer it.
The question was this: If Nathan chased Neil for as long as he did, does that mean that part of him loved his son? And also, did Mary love him?
Regarding Nathan, the short answer is no.
The long answer is, define Neil. Is Neil his potential? If so, the answer is yes. Is Neil his legacy? Then yes.
Nathan never loved his son, but he did love all the things that having a son would mean for his empire. He loved having an heir. He loved shaping a little boy into the perfect killing machine. He loved the way a knife looked gripped in a hand that was not yet large enough to hold it properly. He loved the high-pitched sound of a little boy’s screams; they meant lessons learned, mistakes that would never be repeated.
Nathan loved Neil’s usefulness, but a man like that could never truly love his son.
And Mary?
Mary loved Neil, in as much as a woman like her could love anything. She sacrificed her world, her tentative safety, and her life for him. To protect him.
She kept him alive, dragged him from city to city, country to country. She gave everything she had to give her son just a few more days.
Mary Hatford loved her son, and she despised him. He was slowing her down. He was a child who didn’t listen, who took risks he shouldn’t take. Mary hated him. He was the reason they had to run in the first place. He looked just like his father.
Mary had no kind words for her son as she was dying. She couldn’t tell him how much she loved him, and she couldn’t tell him how unendingly angry she was. What she could do was tell him what to do next. Tell him how to stay alive.
Nathan Wesninski loved having a legacy, but hated having a son. Mary Hatford loved her son, but hated taking care of him
So in the end, the answer is no. Neither of Neil’s parents loved him. They each loved some part of him, but not him.

So let me explain, I was sitting in a rehab centre this morning, scrolling through my phone, finding a post about different details to give character for more depth, and my just mind reeled “Andrew with a tooth gap.”
It makes sense a bit since some time ago I was reading a post about how his teeth probably weren’t good because of his upbringing.

A classic. Spectacular, give me 14 of them right now.

“I hate you”
“Nine percent of the time you don’t”
“Nine percent of the time I don’t want do kill you. I always hate you”
“No one asked you” With that, Andrew caught Neil’s face in his hands and learned in.
Andrew kissed him like this was a fight with their lives on the line, like his world stopped and started with Neil’s mouth.
