What's the reaction from the other ninjas seeing arin after the merge?

I think I’ve mentioned it before but they had the same reaction to the realization in SoG that Master Wu was the baby (since Master Wu doesn’t disappear in the end of S7 in this AU due to Arin replacing him)

I’ve already talked about how Lloyd reacted to seeing Arin after the merge but during their journey to the cloud kingdom Lloyd talked to Kai and Nya more about Arin’s case and they all agreed to keep it a secret for a little while longer since Arin showed no signs of remembering (and also Arin actually experienced what its like to be a child his age again in Dr1 with Sora so it was for the best he gets to live it a little longer without the trauma of the past changing his mentality)

They all treated Arin the same though so in this AU Arin was less treated as a student but more as a friend/brother just cause they were more used to that

So how many injuries would poor Arin would get in the AU? If there is a X-Ray of him what will his injuries look like?

I genuinely have no idea how I’d respond to this uhhm, definitely a lot. Maybe more than the ninjas get on average due to the fact he has no powers that could cushion his fall or aid him in fights, and he’d definitely get a lot of broken limbs and wounds a lot (Lloyd helps him recover because I headcanon that his energy powers help speed up the cell regeneration process) but on average? A whole lot that he got used to the pain and got a pain tolerance

also added to this au why in Dragons Rising Arin can take insane hits like nothing(getting bashed by Ras to the ground, busting through piles of rocks and hitting walls without any broken bones and ESPECIALLY broken legs because the way Ras threw him like I swear that leg should’ve been dislocated by then BUT NO IT WAS WYLDFYRE THAT GOT THE LEG CAST LIKE?? ARIN HOW ARE YOU SO STRONG??)

Long awaited Dragons Rising ep 1-2 meet up for this AU is now here!! Everything is kept relatively the same except Sora and Arin don't introduce themselves yet until after they get out of the train's cart to rescue Riyu

He did still ask Sora where Arin learned spinjitzu but he wasn't at all surprised when Sora said he self taught it since when he originally met Arin, he did do a similar thing (it gave him hope that Arin still remembers his old memories with the team)

All right I got one of the not so fun one. If Lloyd or Arin got ill in this AU what will one of them do if they are sick.

Actually originally the way Lloyd and Arin would've escaped the serpentine would've been similar to that of Lloyd instead having the map and was forced to drop it when Arin got bit by a serpentine and during the night in the bounty Arin was sick

When they were kids if it was an illness like that (anything in which that wasn't just a common flu or so) the one that isn't ill would watch over the other, Lloyd would probably just be there as comfort since he doesn't know how to handle those situations(he often ends up sleeping on the side of his bed leaned down with his arms crossed in just like in a hospital) while Arin was taught by his mother to bring a cold bowl of water and put a cold damp towel on their foreheads if they had a fever so he was of more help and he was a bit more hopeful (the silly things he did when Ras was ill so he could stay positive in a bad situation)

In terms of when they got older since they've gone through worse things weren't so depressing in the atmosphere and they would often just have conversations for comfort and joke around

They did get better treating the other ninjas but them especially (Arin bakes anyone who is sick a special pie)

So their sibling group is much bigger in this AU (Nya likes Arin more than Lloyd though since Arin was an angel when he and lloyd were kids and also he treats her just like he treats Sora and none of that stereotypical girl sexism stuff Nya went through with the other guys during the early seasons)

Kai loves them both equally like his little brothers though (most especially during possession when Lloyd got possessed)

Shit forgot to add this to my last ask but if he doesn't have it what does he use for his main weapon?

He's a jack of all trades type of person, he's held swords before but some gun gadgets Nya or Pixal makes for him are also stuff he's used (took him a while to learn how to aim better though)

He doesn't really have a weapon in dragons rising (I don't see the grapple as a weapon more like a tool) and the prismatic blade is technically his first so he fights bare handed usually too

Question does Arin have his grappling gun in this au? I doubt he does since Sora was the one who made it for him

Sorry I haven't been alive much but yeah no he doesn't have a grappling gun during this AU (until unless, after the merge when he comes back cause he meets Sora that time and the same events in dragons rising sorta happens)

It's also the reason Arin has some climbing hook and gear in some of his gi designs (he uses it as well instead of a grappling gun)

Might make it canon that Nya makes him something similar to the held staff grappling hook Sora made the other ninjas when climbing to the Tournament of Sources but I dunno

Did Arin ever try to interact with his parents from the past?

Interact? No

He has found them though in the first episode of skybound, just to watch them sometimes from afar like stray birds on your porch(when he tries to get near he's getting forced to interact with them and he doesn't know how that could affect him and the timeline and stuff)

In this time, Arin is much younger than he was in the merge part 1 of dragons rising when the merge happened, like maybe he just learned how to speak and was really talkative when it came to the ninjas

He hasn't told anyone about what he's doing though, and the others get curious sometimes

In the Season 6 when the event of Skybound happened. How will Arin handle with the djinn by the name of Nadakhan and what will his wishes be if he made one that is?

He doesn't know or remember skybound because that technically didn't happen by the end of the season? Only Nya, maybe Jay remembers it like I've said before so he's going in blind like everyone else

As for his wishes, can't really specifically say what his wishes are, but just know nadakhan was definitely trying to get Arin to do impulsive decisions (like talking about his parents and such) but he manages to stand his ground. Although his wishes were more in relation to save everyone so he still disappears (I can't decide if it should be during their time in the ship or after tbh but just know he does disappear like everyone except Jay and Nya)

In the scene where Kai unlocks his true potential, how did Arin take all of this? Basically, everyone left the volcano because it was about to explode, leaving Lloyd and Kai alone. Was Arin scared thinking Lloyd was going to die, or did he know about this?

Wouldn't say he KNOWS about it, obviously if you get trapped in a hellfire lava that could kill you at the young age of a child that's pretty traumatizing, but he was sure, or well holding onto the hope that Lloyd would be fine, cause if he died here then what happens to Ninjago? What happens to the older and awesome Green Ninja, Lloyd Garmadon who destroyed the overlord and saved everyone from the Onis?

He knew Kai hasn't reached his full potential so he had to cling with the hope that if Kai reaches his full potential, he'd be able to save Lloyd so as much as he didn't want to go, he left with everyone

How was Arin's interaction in the "Green Ninja" episode?

Don't know what you said within the brackets but while I was recovering I was thinking about this

So gonna take this as a chance to take back to never trust a snake, what I've decided is that while Lloyd and Arin were helping the serpentine have a peaceful stay, when pythor was released he manipulated the serpentine into helping them (like the original though, it didn't take overnight)

Arin tried to put a stop to pythor but pythor twisted Arin's words to make it seem like a bad guy and wanted to steal the map from him and Lloyd, this caused them to flee but of course caused a big commotion uproar and the ninjas caught sight of this and causes them to fight with the other tribes (Arin already united the serpentine so pythor's job got easy in this)

But also, this would be the first time they meet Arin cause whenever they see Arin it's only through a spinjitzu blur just like when Lloyd saw Arin at the bridge in Dragons rising, they ask Wu about it but he doesn't know either and is cautious of him

Lloyd gets beat in the gut by Pythor while a whole fight between serpentine and the ninjas were happening and holds him ramson for the map which was with Arin. when he gave it, pythor was actually gonna still hold Lloyd captive but the ninjas got in the way and they had to retreat, Master Wu shows up and brings them both in

The ninjas ofc thought Lloyd would be in trouble for uniting the serpentine but the whole thing happens like the episode except Arin was the one that figured out the riddle

(He did NOT like the jack the rabbit bedtime story so he done ditched and went up at the deck of the bounty for fresh air and an uncertainty of his own morals)

Master Wu found out he learned spinjitzu on his own so throughout the next episodes Master Wu also took Arin in like Lloyd

Lloyd invites Arin to check out where the serpentine is going (despite his wishes cause he doesn't really want to stray away) and they get separated around the slither pit's audience, leading to Lloyd getting caged and Arin escaping to tell the ninjas but Lloyd couldn't escape with them

For the green ninja episode, Arin actually feels very nervous around lord garmadon cause of the stories he's heard (he saw the disowning live fr) but he cringes SO MUCH everytime Kai thinks he's the green ninja (he was so so close to just telling everyone who the green ninja is due to the amount of cringing he's going through but luckily they make it to the volcano in time)

I'm gonna continue this in another post but the green ninja episode was lowkey Arin just being done with the ninjas (we need more of sassy Arin because he could not believe the amazing heroes were this cocky even before starting the amazing adventures and stories)

Afterwards though, when Lloyd and Arin gets to be alone for a bit that's when Lloyd confronts Arin like "You knew, didn't you?" And questions how he does, and this is when Arin replies how he knows a lot of things, and whispers to him how he's from the future but Lloyd doesn't buy it and thinks Arin is joking

What does Pythor think of Arin? 👀

Since I doubt I'm gonna be able to draw out the whole thing (curse my lack of drawing skills when it comes to serpentine) I'll just say that Arin definitely knows who Pythor is, and despite wanting everyone free, he actually was against releasing Pythor

But then all the other serpentine (in this AU, Arin convinced them to have some small level of peace so they're not attacking anybody) was confused by this and urged the two of them to do it otherwise, so Lloyd and Arin went ahead with it

Pythor thinks Arin is a naive child at most, who thinks the power of friendship works and stuff like that

He actually was the one that convinced the serpentine and manipulated them into continuing the rise of the snakes storyline, when Arin and Lloyd left Pythor whispered and manipulated the other snakes to get the fangblades and the great devourer is still summoned, and all the others get their true potentials later due to this (like those that needed to get attack by Lloyd's doing to get their true potentials)

So yeah, pythor heavily underestimates Arin a whole lot (same way with Lloyd) but he knows he can't pull Lloyd's strings due to Arin, cause for some reason Arin doesn't like him either (cause pythor doesn't know about the future stuff he does n stuff)

And in this AU, technically Arin does indeed cause the great devourer but he truly doesn't mean it (it has heavily impacted his mental wellbeing)

Gonna disappear for a while due to some surgery but this is canon divergence doodle comics and ideas for Double Trouble in the Sides Of The Same Coin AU

This AU mostly had the most focus on Arin and Lloyd’s Friendship in this since it was Arin that affected Lloyd's life and way of thinking

So originally my idea was that there were 6 sandbags thrown at all of them and it's just that Arin's keen eye let him broken spinjitzu away, but then I just thought "What if destiny lowkey was not expecting Arin's existence so just like the original, there were only sandbags for all 5 of them, meaning Arin never gets sandbagged and the kids were chasing him to capture him too

And Arin to the rescue!! He finds and unties Lloyd from his kidnapped chair but the kids come back in before they can escape, they tried to use spinjitzu to escape but the kids were clever, and made them distracted and disfigured enough to kidnap them both

Then the whole talk about them going good is slightly altered in a way, cause Arin did help Lloyd a lot. And so during Lloyd’s speech to everyone about how they should embrace the good in them he mentions back to how Arin helped him realize his goodness

Another Canon divergence, Arin yells out to them "pick a color" after Lloyd says his line of asking who can sew, so instead of just colors of red, blue, white and black like the main four, Arin gave them more color and let them be their own ninjas, just like him picking his color Orange
