Contest: Win Tickets To When Saints Go Machine & Astronaut
Just over a year ago, at Grimfest in Brabrand, When Saints Go Machine visited Aarhus. If you missed them on that occasion, or want to see them again, luckily for you they will be back in Aarhus this week. Next Saturday (August 29th, red.) they will perform at VoxHall. As for the support act you will be able to experience our local heroes Astronaut – also a MUST SEE if you have not experienced them live yet.
If you have not bought a ticket for the gig, or you’re simply out of money since we are close to the end of the month, here is your chance to win a couple of tickets for you and a friend (or partner). The rules are simple, leave a comment below this article with name of the friend, or partner, you want to bring. We will randomly pick 3×2 winners in the next week.
In addition to the main event, the gig at Voxhall, since When Saints Go Machine is in town, the local ALLEZ crew have arranged an afterparty at Café Paradis. Here you will be able to experience Kenton Slash Demon, and the local acts Signe Høi, BLAA ROEG, and last but not least SHE.

5 Hidden Gems From Smukfest To Check Out (Even If You Didn’t Go To SMUK15)
The annual Smukfest, also know as the most beautiful festival in the country, took over in Skanderborg a couple of weeks ago. While it seemed like the majority of SMUK’s fan base were into men playing computer in the woods, some of us hunger for other genres than EDM. Furthermore you may not have been moved very much by the pop-up gigs by Topgunn and Djämes Braun at KærligHeden.
Due to the above we have set out to find five overlooked hidden gems who performed at this year’s Smukfest, but who deserve a lot more attention than they have at the moment. No matter what give these bands a change and you may find that you like them as much as we do.

Josef Salvat Shares Epic Video, And Danish bands Can Learn A Lot From It!
The video is simple and the content pretty straight forward; Josef just invites us as viewers into the world behind the running cameras, and then adds a large portion of irony of all the clichés from a long line of legendary music videos. The thing is it is so plain simple that it really works all over the world. Why? Because it is so perfectly well suited for his persona, style and music. Read more: http://bit.ly/1IQXmCW

We’re looking for new writers!
We are especially on the lookout for somebody who likes discovering new music and has a sharp pen. Whether you fancy pop, rock or other genres is not important, as we do not focus exclusively on particular styles of music, as long as it’s smart and passionate.
