when i was in eighth grade history class we had a six month long unit on late 20th century corruption in the US government (the watergate scandal, the pentagon papers, etc.), and the whole time my history teacher exclusively referred to Richard Nixon as “Tricky Dick” and I think that experience molded me as a person.
