If you're not from Argentina, please read this carefully

I have no words to describe the pain I feel. after 40 years of democracy, my country elected a party whose only goal is to be a colony once again, to sell the country to Elon Musk, to the USA and the UK, to have our sovereignty impugned and erased.

I remember the video of USAmerican congressists calling Argentina an "important asset for the United States". I remember when we told all of you to be vigilant because this was gonna turn into a genocide.

Tomorrow, the Mega DNU (Decree of Necessity and Urgency) is going to overrule most of our constitutional rights, and yesterday the Omnibus Law was presented to congress, including measures that make it illegal to gather in public without permission (state of siege), and make it so that protest is a crime. We will have to pay for the bullets that kill us, and cops will have absolute legal immunity to hunt us.

Word for word, a dictatorship. Fascism.

We've already gone through this many times, but I want to see worldwide protests about this. I want the UN to intervene. I want the world to make noise.

What worries me is this is not an isolated case. With many genocides going on worldwide, if the world fails Argentina, this will be the blueprint for all of the world.

Make no mistake, what happens here will happen everywhere there's natural resources and sovereignty. If not through overt genocide, through an extremely libertarian far right that wins elections by manipulating people, funded by Elon Musk. A second Operation Cóndor.

why is it that everyone (especially prosocials) expects pwASPD to be physically abled.

i don't know about you, but i'd expect phys disabled people, especially congenitally phys disabled people, to be more likely to develop ASPD than the average population. i mean, lifelong harassment, neglect, and medical maltreatment is a pretty surefire way to develop a hatred of authority and low empathy + remorse for other people, no?

but of course, when i walk up to someone with my crutches (and hopefully some day, roll up to them in a wheelchair) and tell them i have ASPD, they always rush to deny it. because apparently, the only people who could ever have ASPD are cishet (phys) abled white men [sarcasm].

(this is also the reason why i believe the specification of physical aggression in the DSM is fucking stupid. i might not be physically aggressive because if i was, i'd probably dislocate several joints and end up unable to move for days because of chronic fatigue, but i sure as hell am aggressive in other ways.)

I hate feeling the need to protect others from my source. Feeling like showing my face around others will put them in danger. Our source is one that caused significant issues for all of us+- it worsened our+ experience with other traumatic events and even caused a few of them past just witnessing source media as a child (which for us+ was genuinely traumatic on some occasions). I have this invasive feeling that being myself around others could cause them to experience the same kind of lifelong negative impact that our source did for us+.

Obviously, in most cases, that’s not true. Our+ friends are all bodily adults, for one. For two, I trust them to actually listen to me when I give them the huge list of trigger warnings. But, that doesn’t stop me from hiding as much as possible. Concealing my existence in miles of red tape and warning signs is exhausting. - 🔥
