You find yourself in a grassy expanse, a nice cool breeze flowing past you. In the distance you spot a strange looking mew, they had a pink coat of fur sparkling in the sunlight, along with a pair of twin tails and three eyes. They put their paws out and scrunched up their face, grunting. A ball of light appeared before them before fizzling out as quickly as it came. “I can’t do it,” the strange mew said, seemingly unaware of your presence…

More text appears on the chat program, "You all have questions, I have answers, but I can't make things easy. You will have to search for most, but I can give you hints and clues. Conversation will be nice as well, anyone in my situation would be quite lonely after all."

*Destino approaches V2.*

Destino: Now what do we have here? Snowball, is that you? Can't believe you live like this. I could never. Such a peasant lifestyle. Maybe try adding some decorations or something. It's just so drab and dull here. Then again, I don't know if I could ever trust you to decorate your own living quarters without it looking awful. Now me, I just so happen to be the expert when it comes to making things look good. I'd completely get rid of this aesthetic you're going for.

V2 tilts her head, "Who's Snowball?" She asked, clearly having no idea who Destino was talking about. V2 frowned at the insults to the lab, "I just woke up here... I didn't make this place," V2 said.

The mouse pointer changed from white to black suddenly, moving to click on some kind of icon, opening some kind of chat program. There was only one person available, their name was corrupted, making it unreadable. V2 seemed aware of this, their eyes following it with curiosity

A message popped up from this unknown individual, "If you have any problems with my lab, you take it up with me, but leave the kid out of it!"

After a couple minutes, another message popped up, "You know about V2's predecessor? How is she?"

So I thought this would be fun for Munday! I can't do anything about unrevealed characters, as all characters have technically been revealed, even if they aren't askable yet! And yes, the Mysterious Benefactor counts as a revealed character!

Regular Munday asks are available as well!

Send one of these and which character you'd like to get a sketch of a situation from the past or future (You can ask for specific events).

I look over at the nearby corkboard, attempting to gleam any other information that would inform us about this AI.

You notice that the corkboard is in fact a conspiracy board! A few things stand out, there's a picture of an alolan vulpix that looks similar to V2, except it has binary eyes unlike V2's solid green ones, and has various light blue bows, there are a few sticky notes beside it, the first one reading, "V1, though she prefers the name-" a coffee stain seemed to have smeared the ink, making the name illegible... the second sticky note is a lot more worrying, reading, "I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry".

Your eyes move to a photo of a completely destroyed building, only the foundation and a bit of rubble remain, a note by the photo reads, "Where V1 and V2 were created, and nearly my grave. Glad it's gone..."

There seems to be a little info about your mysterious benefactor here as well... But that's not what you wanted to look at, was it?

V2 looks at everyone in the lab, “Sometimes I see someone dashing around here, leaving things when none of you are looking, I don’t know who she is or why she is doing this though…”

This lab looks like it's been a lot longer than two days! Just look at it! oAo

“I wasn’t here before, I was in a different lab! I was alive for two days when there was fire and panic, a human came up to me and next thing I knew, I was here!” V2 explained, clearly oblivious to how concerning that was…

Wait. Twelve years ago? What happened twelve years ago-? o.o

V2 seems confused by this, “What do you mean? It’s only been two days, right?” Asked V2, seeming to be unaware of any passage of time from within the usb.

It seems you aren’t going to get much information about what happened twelve years ago from V2, but the lab may have some clues, the corkboard seems like an excellent place to start

(@ask-the-shiny-pokemons) Wil enters the lab and sees a strange Vulpix (which seems to be oddly familiar, but it's not) and overheard something. "Hi! This place seems...unique. I've overheard about men with a red R... Wait, don't tell me it's..." He is shocked when he hears about it. Referencing Team Rocket of course, though he couldn't mention it directly.

V2 looks confused, "It's what? What do y-" She's cut off as the computer turns off before turning back on again, but instead of V2, there's a black silhouette of a human being, their voice being rather distorted, and the video seems staticky as well, "Yes, they were Team Rocket, I have planted clues here to expose the truth, find them, and reveal the greater story of what happened twelve years ago..." it said, the computer once again turning off and back again, V2 back on the screen, "-ou mean?" said V2, clearly not only unaware of what just happened, she had no clue any time just passed, what exactly was going on here?

I've been watching you. I thank you for activating V2. I hope you succeed where I have failed. She does not hold all the answers though, that is why I've placed things around the lab to find. And don't just check something once and never check it again, I may change things when you aren't looking. In fact, some of the things you checked before may have changed. Just try not to make the water bill go up this time, not too happy about that. Try to uncover the truth and maybe one day we'll meet, but that day is not today. Take care of V2 for me in the meantime, hurt her and you'll find that you are only here because I want you here, don't make that change...

Hello? Who...what are you? We just found this strange USB in this weird lab here... and here you are.

V2 tilts her head, "I'm V2, short for Version 2! I'm an AI, that's what the men with red R's told me at least!" V2 exclaimed, she clearly was completely oblivious to the implications of what she just said, if anything, she was like a young child.

I put the drive into the computer

As you put the USB drive into the computer, an alolan Vulpix with green eyes appears in V2_Habitat.exe, she looks confused, "Where am I? This does not look like the lab I was in before..." the Vulpix asked, clearly distressed. Judging by the name of the program she was housed in, it's safe to include her name is V2.

V2 IS FINALLY OPEN FOR ASKS

Ignoring Internet safety best practices, let's try to open the unknown V2_Habitat.exe!

A loading screen pops up as the program starts to run, the computer's fans start whirring. Once the loading finishes, an animated image of a forest appears, leaves falling, wind looks to be blowing, until it freezes, an error message pops up, "Insert V2" it reads. Seems like you need to insert something for the program to work.

I look around somewhat confused, somewhat wary. I eye the metal vulpix with interest as that catches my attention first, before glancing back to the computer; I begin to have a sort of inkling what the USB might do, and I contemplate a moment before simply examining the computer further. Perhaps seeing if I can browse its files?

As you examine the computer's file folder, you notice a file labeled, "V2_Habitat.exe", though that seems the only notable file, the rest being things you'd normally find in a computer's files.
